British Columbia Wedding by Jamie Delaine

This Canadian wedding by Jamie Delaine is the epitome of charming.   Maybe it’s the strawberry hues or the sweet bridesmaids’ dresses or the cute lovebird motif but I can’t help feeling all warm and fuzzy inside.  And, of course, DIY details tucked in each and every corner always puts a smile on my face!  More can be found in the full gallery!

Every detail of Rebecca + Adam’s day was perfectly planned.  Rebecca had stunning taste and it made my job so easy.  They had the best-lookin’ bridal party I’ve ever seen. I absolutely loved the bridesmaids’ J Crew dresses (been dying to shoot a wedding with J Crew dresses!) and the groomsmen’s tan suits.  Rebecca designed all of the florals herself.  The reception took place at the amazing Fraser River Lodge in Agassiz, BC.  I couldn’t get over how stunning everything was.  There must have been over two hundred mason jars throughout the lodge, with a single tealight in the bottom of each one.  So simple, so elegant.  The centerpieces and all the details were nothing short of perfect. Rebecca + Adam shared their first dance on the balcony of the Fraser River Lodge, overlooking snow-capped mountains.  The band was phenomenal, playing awesome music from the 60s like “you can’t hurry love” while guests danced under strawberry-coloured lanterns.

   Wow, I just love the colors she chose. And the fruit slices in the punch is such a fun, creative, and natural way to add spark! Fabulous!

   The peach color and the detail in the vases make this wedding seem so vintage without having to age the photos. I really like the crisp clean look, I feel as though I really knew what the wedding looked like. I love color LOVE IT!

   The bride is also a photographer!!! I met her this past summer when she photographed my friend's wedding. We're getting married at the same lodge in six weeks...eeeeeeee! It is so nice to see the lodge all gussied up at her wedding. Beautiful!

    I am LOVING this wedding! I have to ask...the vases...WHERE ARE THEY FROM? They look like the spring stuff Michaels has out right now but i cant find the vases. Any chance the bride is willing to sell??? They are EXACTLY what im looking for

    Hi

    You have incorporated many of the same ideas that my daughter has been putting together for her upcoming wedding this coming August to take plane in Ontario.

    Like "Barbara" above, I would so appreciate knowing your fabric utilized in your table runners. We have researched many options and would appreciate any information you could give us regarding where you purchased either the coral/peach runners or the fabric for the runners.

    Lovely wedding theme as well as chosen venue.
