love this weekend giveaway and LOVE smp! as for the high fashion home chandelier, i would love to display the white one above our bed as the focal point of our bedroom. we've spent so much time furnishing the rest of our place, i feel like our bedroom could use a special touch. thanks!

Definitely black. I have white walls and white bathrooms and white this and that... My kitchen is done with dark marble/granite, black appliances and chrome features, so to accent my dining room with a black chandelier would help it seamlessly transition back to the kitchen. The white is gorgeous. Going for a wintery, rustic glam look in the loft (very heavily influenced by this wedding: http://www.stylemepretty.com/2010/11/08/rustic-glam-wedding-inspiration-by-jennifer-bergman-pinkpolka/ and, of course, Anthropologie store fronts!). Tons of birch and woodsy details with little pops of feminine detail [lace, pearls, scatterings of light color (mostly Angel Food, with hints of Arabian Sands and Coral Dune -- wouldn't you love to be the person to name shades of paint!)]. This chandelier would look gorgeous above my little slice of heaven -- a teeny corner with a writing desk and a window overlooking the river.

My fiancé and I moved into our first apartment together this fall and have had a wonderful time making it our own. We both love decorating and it's been an ongoing project to find the perfect accents at flea markets and vintage furniture stores. The only problem? We finally have a dining room with a huge table where we love to throw dinner parties and the tiny, plain lighting fixture above the table does the room NO justice. We've been searching for the perfect chandelier to balance out our shabby chic mirror and large vintage photograph of Paris (our favorite place). I know that this one would set the mood! Oh my goodness. We would LOVE to use the white chandelier as the focal point of our garden ceremony, and then hang it in our apartment dining room for entertaining after the wedding. The choices are endless however I think I would choose the black chandelier and hang it in my boudoir (my bedroom). The bedroom walls are a soft mouse grey and I have an oversized black velvet headboard on one wall and white wooden french antique style furniture. The room is quite light and airy so I think it can handle something as striking as this beautiful modern look chandelier. It will be one room in my house that will finally be complete :)

What a stunning chandelier... I would love the white chandelier as it would suit our deck perfectly. We are currently renovating our forty-year old home and the theme is country/contemporary, with browns, whites and greys. I love the white chandelier and it would get so many decor uses for me. We are getting married outside underneath some willow trees by a river. I would use it to hang it from the trees as an alter focal point for our ceremony. Afterwards, I would use the chandelier in our baby girl's room (I am also expecting) it would always remind us of the love that two people had for each other and what it created.
