Anna Costa of Michael and Anna Costa Photographers has done it once again…wowed us with her ever so lovely picture taking skills. And that dreamy, soft light that exudes from every single image is the perfect compliment to this romantic Santa Barbara wedding. Held at a breathtaking family villa with the prettiest florals by Nico Designs and a couple that is totally head over heels in love, this wedding is soaring on cloud 9 and lucky us, we get to come along for the ride. When Patrick asked me to marry him, I was over the moon! I immediately, like most brides, grabbed the first wedding magazine I could get my hands on. I knew I wanted to be married in our hometown of Santa Barbara, and in the month of September. Being a local, we have always enjoyed Septembers in Santa Barbara. The weather is usually sunny and gorgeous and the busy summer season has come to an end. I drew most of my inspiration for our wedding right from the web pages of Style Me Pretty. I had my venue set as it would be the home of my fiancé’s parents in Santa Barbara, a villa called Villa Verano. We were also lucky enough to be married at Our Lady of Mount Carmel church, which was my dream. As a little girl, we would always pass by in the car, and I would think to myself, that’s where I want to marry. After I bought my dress, my vision started to come to light. I love romantic soft colors so the latte, cream and blush dahlias and garden roses were perfect and complimented the scenery just perfectly. We also fell in love with Anna Costa from Michael + Anna Costa Photography because of her use of film and digital. Her dreamy photos will be cherished for a lifetime.

The most beautiful wedding ever!! I am so happy to be a part of it!!(Rachel is my sister) :) The Bridesmaid dresses were J.Crew but I think that exact style has been discontinued. You can still find the color in other dresses though.
