Jennifer and Daniel’s rustic-elegant wedding in Walnut Grove was just the beginning to their journey. Their wedding consisted of 240 of their closest friends and family to witness their marriage in a field of walnut trees. The morning of the wedding was nerve wrecking for the bride as it had rained, yet by the time of the ceremony, the sun had shined and the weather could not have been any more perfect. We incorporated the style, love and personality of the couple into the wedding with the casual setting. Two love birds were the glue that kept the wedding cohesive. These two birds actually came from the cake topper they purchased online from Etsy. Using the idea of the two love birds, the couple had the design on their invitation, menus, escort cards and even restroom signs.
The soft and neutral colors of pink and ivory were the accents to the brown wood that surrounded the venue and used on the linens. It was a very eventful day with many surprised for the guests, including a heart balloon release in the field. Each guest were given a balloon to release with a wish for the newlyweds! Guests enjoyed specialty cocktails which were favorites to the couple: “John Daly” and Ginger Ale Vanilla Vodka, and later dined on organic and locally grown-seasonal dishes prepared by the amazing Command Performance Catering. The hit of the evening may have been the custom dessert station with Beard Papa’s cream puffs, mango ice milk berry and green tea and vanilla ice cream.
The wedding was a story of their love, and each and every guests surely embraced their love as they watched their story unfold that day.

Favorite.wedding.ever. Loved almost every single detail, but the best thing was that everything felt so genuine. Actually teared over the video, and I don't even know these people!!

SOOOO beautiful! Love the gorgeous details and the intimacy, even with the number of guests.
It's true regarding the biodegradability of latex balloons, but note that the FAQ mentions releases of no greater than 10 balloons. The sheer quantity of the release would still be a significant negative impact. :(

I just wanted to answer as many questions as possible!
Make-up artist: Angie Pham (she's amazing!)
I think the shoe question was answered :)
The bridesmaids dresses were actually made by the same person who did the bride's dress from Tomato Bridal Salon in Korean Town, DTLA.I know the balloon scene does look scary, most of the balloons got caught in the trees with a good number flying into the air. We did research, check with the city and venue for permission. Products are biodegradable, even the string. We hope no birds were harmed in the process of the release, but it's great to hear the concerns and keep it in mind for future weddings.

oh my, this was my most favorite wedding in a long time. maybe ever. i LOVED all the details, and the love b/w the bride and groom radiated through them all. even though i am not a fan of wedding videos, i teared up over this wedding video!! thanks so much for sharing with us and HUGE CONGRATULATIONS on getting married!!!

Hi Everyone,
I just wanted to answer some more question... the bird cage veil is either from Tomato Bridal Salon in K Town or from Shop Ban.Do. She had two that day and I am not sure where it is from.The balloons were purchased online from a wholesale balloon vendor.
The string lights were already in place at the venue :) Such a plus for booking there!
