St. Louis Wedding by Hawes Photography
This next little wedding is cool as a cucumber. Which is a saying that I totally don’t get by the way. But it’s the first thing I thought when I laid eyes on this adorable affair photographed by Hawes Photography. Alison and Phill embody the vintage, cool, retro-ness that is all the rage with weddings. Their style really came out in Alison’s slim dress and Phil’s rock star suit (he is in a band so it’s fitting). The drool worthy details seemed effortless and included local, seasonal wild flowers for the bouquet and centerpieces, rounds of wood topped with cakes and pies that ringed the wedding cake and a vintage car complete with tin can tails that whisked the couple away from the reception.

Great photography - one can hardly tell the location is at the Missouri Botanical Garden in St Louis.

Sorry I haven't answered anyone's questions.
We made the blackboards out of very large corkboards and chalk paint. They sell the corkboards at Michaels at the beginning of the school year.
My dress is Nicole Miller, when I purchased it they had discontinued it. But the style is fa0006 you may be able to find it somewhere!
The bridesmaid dress is a Nanette Lepore, the same dress Katy Perry wore on the front cover of Lucky in June '10.Thanks for all the comments! I was very particular about the look and I guess I did a wonderful job! Thank you!!
