Hillary Maybery Photography sent us Katy and Doug’s wedding saying they “brought city glamour to the mountains” of Sun Valley, Idaho! She couldn’t have been more right …

In her dazzling Romona Keveza gown and Valentino shoes … Katy rocked it.

And Hillary, captured the day with total brilliance!

From Hillary … This bride has amazing spunk, style, and was one of our FAVORITE and FUN weddings to be a part of. Katy’s look was ‘city glamour’ in the mountains of Sun Valley, Idaho. From the home style meals, the atmosphere of the party was very intimate and more like a very fun dinner party rather than a wedding. Katy did have a HUGE surprise for Doug! He thought Idaho was shaped like a foam finger. So Katy had foam Idaho hands made that she kept a secret from him…it actually brought tears to his eyes when Doug walked into the tent and when the guest were waving them!!
Hillary has a fantastic blog post of Katy and Doug’s wedding with lots more details. Please, please, please take a look!!

I love, love, love this wedding! I clicked on the photographer's blog posting and absoultely fell in love with this couple, their endearing personalities and all the unique nuances that made this wedding so perfectly about them! These images made me want to know this couple. Great job Hillary!
I love her spunk ... that smile is incredible and the dress matches her personality, 100%! Great looking wedding. Congratulations!
Grew up in Sun Valley...and I adore this! Really captures the city chic heart of this fab ski town! Hilary's work is ALWAYS amazing!
anyone know where the two bridal belts/sashes are from?
Or anyone who makes something similar?
Thanks!
This is my wedding dress at well.
Katy, the dress comes with the belt (is plain white), but she added the jewels to it.
Absolutely smashing gown and accessories! I'm imagining them in a NYC loft high above the twinkling lights of Manhattan... would be stunning in a contemporary venue.
Great shots! You've shown that photography is a fine art that requires a unique and creative eye. Thanks for the post!!

What a gorgeous wedding! I had no idea a rustic outdoor wedding could be so glamorous. I want an explanation on the wombat table though!
Hi All,
Thank you for the compliments! Our wedding was a perfect illustration of myself and my husband.
Katy - My belts were all done by Romona Keveza. The sequin was a smaller belt by her that I had stitched down the center of belt that came with the dress and the black one I wore at the reception.
Kristen - My husband and I moved to Australia three weeks after our wedding, so all of our table names were native Australian animals!

SO GORGEOUS! I have never commented on anyone's wedding, I always just kind of lurk around and read. Katy, those dresses are so fabulous, I recognized the black belt *immediately* because I have been lusting over it! I love what you did with the dress, because I am looking for a one shoulder dress and saw that one, but worried it may be a little too prissy for what I wanted but with the extra belt, it is amazing!--where were you able to purchase the black one you wore to the wedding? Straight from the bridal shop? If you are interested in selling the belt, please let me know!
Hi Maddie,
The black belt is Romona Keveza and I got mine through the bridal shop where I ordered my dress (Bridal Galleria in San Francisco). You can probably call them and ask them to order it for you. Or you can likely call Romona Keveza directly and order it through her. They can back it in a few colors if you would prefer something other than black. Unfortunately, I don't think I'm willing to sell my mine because I'm actually in the process of lopping off my dress and turning it into a cocktail dress so I'm likely to actually wear it again.
I hope this helps, katy
Those bridesmaid dresses are so pretty! The blue is exactly the color I want for my ladies. Where are they from?
Allyballeyboo,
The bridesmaids dresses are Monique Lhuillier in navy and silver. There are four styles and I let my friends choose their style and color.
