From their fantastic photographer, Kate Triano
Tram and Tiko were recently married and love traveling the world. They wanted an exotic shoot and love vibrant colors. Tram’s super cute flat beaded sandals, her flowy layered dress and Tiko’s vibrant blue and green tie started the inspiration and a fun yet relaxed Moroccan theme emerged. Tiko wore a navy vest, which made the boutonniere by Holly Chapple Flowers pop. The boutonniere consisted of blue thistle, orange crocosmia, and hot pink celosia. Holly Chapple left the stems long for a funky look. The boutonniere was wrapped in a vibrant teal Indian silk and gold wire. Tram’s luscious bouquet made of bunches of hot pink gloriosa lilies, orange protea, fuchsia orchids, blue thistle, and orange crocosmia, was wrapped with the teal, gold, and fuchsia silk from India and topped off with a decorative brass ring.

Aged metal lanterns and birdcages were strung by satin ribbon in various vivid colors, and one had the letters T & T affixed to the glass. Similar lanterns could be hung over guest’s tables to indicate the table number or even list guest’s names that are seated at the particular table. Blankets, pillows, and runners, were handmade of Indian silk in saturated shades of fuchsia, teal, blue, orange, with gold details, and layered to create a lush feel.
A low antique worm wood table was used to form a magical lounge area with wine, champagne, tea, and fruits to enjoy, including figs, oranges, star fruit, sugarplums, peaches, and kiwis. A similar setup could be a unique cocktail space or seating for guests to relax and enjoy a non-traditional ceremony.

An antique brass teapot and Moroccan platter was used to display and serve the exotic fruit and tea. Small metal and glass containers were filled with similar flower from the bouquet and used to add extra color to the table. They were placed between large glass candleholders that were covered in thin green silk with gold detail and another metal birdcage. All of these pieces were placed on hree custom silk runners that were layered to create a dynamic look. Blue and gold detailed glass tumblers were then used as both votive holders and for wine. Tram wore amber and gold chandelier earrings and delicate gold bangles from Katie Costello Jewelry. Other jewelry shown, include wood bangles, gold earring from Kipepeo, and gold earrings with peridots by Amrita Singh.

Tiko and Tram were the lucky winner’s of Kate Triano’s 2010 wedding contest! You can see the wedding of this super-cute couple on Holly Chapple’s blog and their engagement shoot on Kate’s blog! Plus ~ their whole day-after shoot right here in the SMP Photo Gallery!!
