If you love classic elegance this next wedding is going to knock your socks off! The stunning photographs from Gabe Aceves totally transported me to the set of an old Hollywood movie. It’s like the dramatic closing scene where the boy and girl finally reunite and take off together into the sunset. The bride just exudes timeless beauty and who doesn’t love a groom in a jumpsuit! How much fun must it have been to be a guest flying around in a vintage WWII plane with the groom (also the pilot!) the morning of the wedding? And those bridesmaids’ dresses might be the prettiest I have ever seen! There is even more from the photographer’s flight and these romantic nuptials in the gallery!

From photographer, Gabe Aceves -
“Kathleen and Andrew’s day started off with a surprise. Andrew is a licensed pilot and flies vintage WWII planes. The morning was spent flying guests around at a local airstrip, me included.
They had a beautiful church wedding before heading to the garden and patio area of the Greenville Country Club for cocktails and a reception.
The girls wore soft green/blue flowing dresses that completely complement Kathleen and Andrew’s laid back style. It also complemented the all white tent/patio color schemes with small pops of green in the flowers.
The whole day felt classical and timeless, the locations were historic and summed up the style of an elegant Mid-Atlantic wedding.”

I just have to say, the picture of the groom by the airplane....OMG. What an adorable couple. The flowers are stunning......I'm so in love with this wedding SWOON
I hope someone put a sign on the plane that said "Just Married" before the bride and groom took off!
Wow, the groom flew the guests around in a vintage plane before the wedding? That is really cool. That's one way to really put your personality into your wedding!
Can someone tell us where the bridesmaid dresses were from? thanks!!
I second (or third, or fourth) the question of where those amazing bridesmaid dresses are from. Swoon!
I'd also love to know where those bridesmaid dresses are from... they are beautiful!
I would love to know where the bridesmaid dresses are from too! They are just what I am looking for - color and style! Thanks!
Hey all, it was soo much fun photographing Kathleen and Andrew's wedding. They are an amazing couple.
The bridesmaids dresses were purchased from White Swan Bridal in Vienna, VA. The brand is Belsoie
Hope that helps!
These photos are an inspiration for me as I plan my own wedding! I love the groom's bow tie. My fiance and his groomsmen are wearing skinny ties, but I wish I would have thought to consider the bow tie!
So beautiful! Love the pup, just too cute! Such pretty colors and the BM's dresses look so pretty and comfortable! Very elegant and fun too; with the groom flying the vintage plane! Definitely a good looking wedding! Loved her shoes too ;)
simply perfect especially with the bonus of the cute pup all dolled up for the occasion.
Color of the bridesmaids dresses are divine, the flowers are scrumptious and the plane is so cool!
I adore her dress, the BM dresses and the flowers- what a WOW wedding
So glad you enjoy the photos!!!! I must say Gabe did an EXCEPTIONAL job with the photos. Check out his web site. Even the engagement photos of Kathleen and Andrew were filled with creativity. If you are looking for a photographer and live in the DC area call him fast. Or maybe fly him to your location...I think the likes to fly
Can anyone tell me where the bride got her shoes?? I ADORE them.
A touch of class in every picture truly depicts the sophistication of this amazingly beautiful wedding.
Congratulation Kathleen and Andrew! May God bless you all the days of your lives. Kathleen, how privilaged am I to have seen you grow into a lovely young lady. May you be blessed.
Such a pretty wedding! Could you tell me what the actual color of those bridesmaid dresses were! They look great agains the trees!
"Hey, that looks like my venue" turned into "It is!" Very cool to see GCC featured and even more excited for our wedding there next year!
I like the idea of untraditional talbe numbers... what is the significance of the names they used?
Hi girls! Thanks for the great feedback! We really had an incredible time and Gabe our photographer was the best!!
The shoes I bought on Zappos - they're Calvin Klein flats. The table numbers are the phonetic "aviation" alphabet...aplha, bravo, charlie, delta, echo...
Greenville CC is also a fantastic venue - with great management!! Highly recommend Linda Gaynor!
Happy planning!!
Oh and the dress color was "Sea Glass"
what color did the MOB wear? seaglass too?
