New Jersey Wedding by Rose Petals and Lace

New Jersey is looking good with this next number sent to us by Rose Petals and Lace who created all of the gorgeous white florals weaved throughout the day. If you are a fan of nautical you are going to love this little gem. Think fluffy white peonies, navy stripes and rope and you’re on your way to a sea-inspired party, Jersey style. From Rose Petals and Lace…

Kristen and Lev wanted to have a nautical themed wedding. They chose to have their ceremony and reception at Clarks Landing Yacht Club in Point Pleasant, NJ. The groomsmen wore navy and white striped ties and the bridesmaids including Kristen’s twin sister Monica, selected different dresses in navy keeping with the nautical theme. Kristen loves peonies and knew from the beginning of the planning stages she wanted to carry peonies. Rose Petals and Lace was able to get some beautiful white peonies very early in the season. The girls carried hydrangeas, tulips, hypericum berries, and ranunculus. Their bouquets were wrapped with boat rope and accented with a navy and white striped ribbon. The ring bearer carried the rings on an anchor that belongs to Kristen’s grandfather who served in the Navy. The ceremony aisle was decorated with wrought iron stands wrapped with boat rope and a hanging pomander ball of white carnations. At the end of the aisle was an arrangement of white hydrangeas incorporating an anchor. The nautical theme carried over into the reception. Place cards, menu cards, and table numbers were accented with anchors as well. The centerpieces were two different styles; one was a tall manzanita branch with hanging pomander balls of white carnations, the vases were wrapped with boat rope. The second style was and arrangement of hydrangeas, tulips, and hypericum berries. The bridal party was able to take advantage of the unusually warm weather in March and spent some time on the Point Pleasant boardwalk where they had some fun playing boardwalk games.
