This is quite possibly the sweetest wedding I’ve ever seen. It’s delicate and girly and yet overflowing with total style. I kind of wish my life looked exactly like this wedding, complete with that gorgeous dress (that the bride and the groom’s mother designed and MADE) hanging in my closet. Created by the insanely talented bride, along with one of our favorite event designers EVER, Brooke Keegan, and photographed beautifully by Lane Dittoe, this is the perfect cap to a blissfully lovely week on SMP. Nicole and Richard got married at the St. Sophia Cathedral in Downtown Los Angeles and had the reception at Casa Del Mar in Santa Monica. She had a hand in designing and creating every detail of her wedding. She made her own wedding dress, designed and printed the invitations and all paper goods with her dad Lew who is a graphic designer, made all of the table numbers, made all of the banners, hunted for all of the mercury glass vessels for the centerpieces and cut all of the wood chips on the tables. Every detail was thought out and designed by Nicole and her mom Valerie. They did such a beautiful job!

I'm really loving the lace touches I've been seeing recently. The lace wrap on that bouquet is absolute perfection. It looks completely modern, but with a rustic, vintage vibe at the same time.
May I ask where you got your earrings?
Love the soft, "girly" colors and details! Very pretty! The flower girl is just too cute! =) Really like the bridesmaids soft, flowy dresses too!
Gorgeous! Love the earrings, please, where did you get them?
Absolutely stunning. I love their robes. The photography is outstanding. Love the soft colors. Just gorgeous!
LOVE the earrings and brooches. Please let us know the source of the earrings!
Hey all! The earrings were from J Crew! I think all the bridemaids wore J Crew jewelry :)
Thanks so much!
xo
Beautiful dress. Any source for that beaded belt? Just gorgeous.
Oh my gosh! Beautiful wedding and beautiful photography! Those bridesmaid dresses are so pretty! It's exactly what I was envisioning my bridesmaids to wear. Are they from Plum Pretty Sugar as well? I checked out their website but only saw the robes.
Absolutely amazing shoes!!
Bridemaid dresses are from three different designers, all crinkled chiffon:
Amsale, Priscilla of Boston, and Jenny Yoo. We went through Twirl Boutique, http://www.twirlboutique.com
They're based in AZ but can order any style for you from anywhere, they were amazing!
I made the belt too. I got trim downtown LA and sewed the rhinestone trim on the metallic lace trim. It was so inexpensive!
xo
Love this wedding! I bought a Pretty Plum Sugar robe to wear while I was getting ready for my wedding, I absolutely love it! It was great to have on the honeymoon too! Looking back I wish I had gotten robes for my BMs but now I know what I can get a few people for birthdays and holidays.
Just wanted to say thanks to Nicole for answering questions and providing all the details.
=)
they are so cute. modern day ken & barbie.
OMG I think I just died. EVERYTHING in this wedding is absolutely amazing. May I ask where the vases used in the centerpieces are from? GORGEOUS! AND THOSE SHOES!!! Where are they from? Thanks in advance!
Nicole, I am so impressed. You MADE that belt?! Such a gorgeous, gorgeous wedding.
I love the invitations and menu cards. Where did you get or who did the invitations? I absolutely love them, this is the exact look I like! The wedding looked beautiful!
I am obsessed with your shoes! Where did you get them???
Modern day Ken and Barbie is right! They're going to make beautiful babies! :)
Oh. and how about this wedding, people?! Perfection. Love, love, love!
BEAUTIFUL!!
I absolutely love everything about the wedding! It's beautiful!
What a perfect wedding. Brooke and Nicole did an amazing job designing this event.
Beautiful! I love that the bridesmaids all had different dresses. And the bride's shoes are gorgeous.
Wow! The bride is simply stunning, and their paper suite is just gorgeous! I am trying to create my own invitations in Photoshop from vintage drawings. Did you guys design them and print them yourselves, or did you design them and send them off to a printer? Also, may I ask where you got the votive holders?
What brand are those shoes and where did they come from!?!!! Been dying to find that color!!!
THANK YOU!
LOVED IT :)
so feminine and oh so pretty ... it's clear the bride thought about every detail.
where did you get your shoes?
What about the N & R? Did you cut out the letters yourself? Such cute letters - and different than the ones from Joann's.
Wow! Everything is just so beautiful!
Where is your dress from? I searched for Nicole Harrison and couldn't find anything, it's beautiful!
@Hallie: the bride's name is Nicole Harrison - she made her own gown - can you believe it?!! Gorgeous. And when can we put our orders in? :)
I really like couples who think outside the box. Love there style!
Love the robes and the shoes : )
Wow. That's all I can say. Wow!
I think that if you looked up the definition of 'pretty' you may very well find this wedding. It's just that damned pretty! :)
I'm pretty sure those shoes are by Pour La Victoire... I recognize the inside of the shoes as I wore a pair of PLV 's for my own wedding. They're gorgeous!! I got mine from Zappos.com, they have a fair amount of styles on there. Cheers!
Love this fabulous wedding - the colors and the bride and groom are gorgeous! xo
Hey ladies! The mercury glass vases were a mix from Anthropologie and a store in CA called Shinoda Design. The mercury glass votives were also from Shinoda. The shoes are Pour La Victoire, they were from zappos.com. I bought the center brooch and feathers and glued them on the shoes to make them a little more fun. It was a super easy way to dress up a shoe to make it your own :)
The paper goods I did with my dad and we got them printed at a local letter press. The letters "N and R" I found on Etsy from the sweetest seller ever named Cheryl, here link: http://www.etsy.com/shop/MyPrimitiveBoutique?ref=seller_info
She was able to do the colors custom to match my wedding colors.
Thanks so much for all the awesome comments, I truly had such a fun time planning my wedding. Enjoy the planning because it goes by so fast!! xoxox
Nicole :)
Hi! I just loved the tree that you framed!!! Did you have your guests sign this!? Where did you find it or did someone draw it!? I would love to do this for my wedding in August! Your entire wedding was STUNNING! I also loved the robes!
Thanks, Tina

turns out, i apparently never learned to read effectively! OOPS! just saw the posts above...jcrew for the earrings. got it! thanks for the 411
LOVE LOVE LOVE your shoes. I have been searching and searching for shoes but none of them had the right look. Where did you get them?
SARAH: The shoes are Pour La Victore the bride made a comment above. She got them from Zappos and she put the brooch and feather on them herself! Amazing right!?
I can't get enough of this wedding. Is there any more photos, videos anything? I would love to see more. Such great inspiration for my wedding. This is the look I am going for :)
Thanks Nicole for choosing me to shoot your beautiful day!!
Grace - if you look at my blog, the video of the wedding is on there :) www.brookekeegan.com
Thanks!
Brooke
Nicole -- your dress is STUNNING! My mom is a skilled dressmaker who is going to make my dress, so glad I'm not the only crazy one out there.
May I ask you where you sourced the lace for your dress? I'm looking for something similar and I'm hitting a wall. The lace can really make or break the dress (I LOVE the color of yours) so I'm dying to know your source!
Thank you SO SO much in advance!
hi! where did your flower girl get her dress from? its gorgeous!
Hi Kate:
So exciting you're making your dress, it was one of my favorite parts about the wedding. My lace is from Klauber Brothers, they are based in NY but have showrooms and reps in the LA area. They are the best lace source, they are wholesale though so hopefully your mom has a resale. Best of luck!

Since getting engaged I have looked at tons and tons of weddings online and this is BY FAR my favorite. It is beyond gorgeous. Nicole and Brooke- so so so beautiful! Nicole, thanks for sharing all your sources (J. Crew, Anthropologie, Etsy - all my favorites!) I love the flowers, the table numbers, the robes for the bridesmaids, the earrings, everything! Are the grooms/groomsmen suits from J.Crew also? Thanks for sharing!
Thanks so much Jen! That's so sweet for you to say :) The suits are from 3-Day suit Broker :) hehe. They are DKNY actually and ended up being only $295 each, only $100 more than renting a boxy ugly one ;)
Congratulations on the engagement, it's such a fun time!

absolutely beautiful wedding! do you mind me asking who made your ring? it's gorgeous!
YOUR VEIL IS PERFECT!!! Did your mom make that as well? If not, who makes it and where can I get it!?!??!
Nicole - absolutely gorgeous wedding and you looked stunning. Can you tell me where the hair piece in your hair is from. It looks almost like a broach. Would love to know where you bought it. Thanks so much!!
Sara
This wedding is absolutely gorgeous! The bride's style is so effortless, understated but beyond amazing at the same time! Where oh where did she get the veil?

Hi Nicole, love your decor! where did you get the vase that is on table 10 (the one to the right of the table number) The short wide one. I have looked on anthropologie and Shinoda, let me know if you have a chance thanks!!!
Hi Nicole,
Your wedding is absolutely stunning!! Every detail. I was interested to learn where you and your father purchased the frames, numbers, and paper to make the table numbers?
Nicole, your wedding is absolutely STUNNING!! I love every detail! I am desperate to find those J. Crew earrings!!! If you are willing to part with them, I would make it worth your while, monetarily. Email at mullins.theresa@gmail.com if you are interested.
I am little late commenting but I thought I would anyhow!
What a gorgeous wedding! From the dress to the shoes to the venue--perfection!
I am dying to know who designed your engagement ring? It is stunning!
Thanks!
hi Izzy,
we designed our rings custom. My husband Richard's is yellow and white gold, mine is all yellow gold. The guy we used is amazing and can do anything custom in about a week. They are in the jewelry district in LA. My husband and are are so pleased with our rings and the quality. He was very honest and can do pretty anything you want. Here is the info:
Capri Inc.

To the bride Nicole,
I am just inlove with all the personal touches throughout your wedding, so pretty. Would you be interested in recycling your wedding? I'd be interested in purchasing some items; table number frames, "love is sweet banner'. Do you know the designer of the dress in pink that your bridesmaid is wearing. Again, so pretty. Let me kno your thoughts.
Congrats Nicole! You had by far the best wedding i ever saw. My wedding will be in July this year and i've been looking inspiration on the internet for 7 months now, almost every day...but i can not take my mind of your bouquet and shoes, and jewelry...and not to mention your dress! I'll be making my own dress and shoes, but i have to tell you that i have to steal the bouquet idea :)
Just wanted to say thank you for pleasuring my sight and can't wait to see the "first born" party pics :P
Many kisses, love and good wishes from Romania!!!! :)
I have looked high and low for these earings.. no where to be found... :(
Congratulations on your (almost) 1 year anniversary!! Where ever did you find those gorgeous bridesmaids dresses? I'm just in love with them!
