Some of the details and DIY tidbits from the Bride:
Bridesmaid dresses: they all got them themselves. I gave them examples and a color palette to choose from and they went for it! They either shopped at Urban Outfitters, or Lulus.com
Bridesmaid flowers (belts and hair accessories): Made by Me! Got all the fabric from leftovers I’ve had or took trips to my favorite store “Hancock Fabrics”.
Bridesmaid flowers and my bouquet: the girls flowers were made out of fake flowers I put together from the dollar store. 3 stems per girl+9=$27. My bouquet was made from flowers leaves from Michaels and Anthropology knobs (on sale of course!)
Grooms men “flower pin”: made of fabric and Anthro flower knobs!
Decor: THRIFT SHOPPIIIING! Random thrift stores, but the most popular- “American Thrift Store” Literally got everything from here, table settings, chandeliers that we spray painted, some table linens, even some fabric scraps I used to make flower decor. Instead of using your usual flowers, which by the way cause a fortune and a half! I resorted to Moss. Which I got some at the dollar store,Walmart, and hobby lobby.
Catering: Mrs. Pat a dear family friend and Robbie’s second mom, was the chief chef for the rehearsal dinner and reception. We had family help with the food, from cutting vegetables to cooking the meat! Kadie Ballentine and Angie Grace (sister and cousin) made alllll the deserts! Cupcakes and those chocolate creme cheese balls were Kadie’s specialty. The cakes were catered by Angie Grace! (She really is a caterer!)
Walls and door: built by Robbie’s dad, Robbie (the groom) and myself. And everything else was pretty much me and my bridesmaids!
Photography: Matt + Angie Sloan of Sloan Photographers / Venue: Briarfield Ironworks Park Montevallo, Alabama / Dress: Augusta Jones / Groom’s Suit: J. Crew / Bridesmaids Dresses: Urban Outfitters and Lulus / Cakes: Angie Grace / Chairs and table linens: Party Time Rentals

This is just so beautiful, and it seems like it was nearly all DYI down to the last detail. I would imagine that is hard to do and still have the over all aesthetic come off so perfectly cohesive. And it didn't have that overly crafty feel either. It was just sweet, warm, and inviting. Love it! :)

[...] I can’t really explain how much we fell in love with this couple. We honestly felt like family the entire time we spent with them. When you think of Southern Charm, these two are the prime example. They are not only adorable, but they are sweet as honey. Robbie is a serious southern gentlemen. I was so impressed with the way he treated Joanna as well as everyone around it. It was a huge blessing for us to be apart of this Wedding and we are so grateful for that. Also, we are excited to be able to share this sweet Wedding on Style Me Pretty. [...]
