Colorado Wedding by Plum Sage Flowers

September 8th. 2010 by Abby Larson | Filed Under | 13 comments

We are wrapping up another day of gorgeous upon gorgeous wedding and this last number photographed by Cedar House Photography is what they call the “icing on the cake.” Seriously if I weren’t already married, I just might run away with all these beautiful flowers. They are THAT good. Plum Sage Flowers was the mastermind behind these beauties and we think they are the perfect way to send you all off into the night or to go check out the gallery. Cheerio.

going crazy for these Colorado nuptials? see more of them here!

Jason and Theresa Bordelon were married July 10, 2010 at the beautiful Chalk Cliff/Antero Hot Springs in Nathrop, Colorado. Jason and Theresa have a love for the outdoors and selected this gorgeous, remote venue based on previous hiking and camping trips in the area. Their beloved lab Lulabell was a guest of honor. They had a delightful day surrounded by friends and family that traveled from afar to celebrate! Katja Deitze helped to coordinate their beautiful, outdoor ceremony and tented reception (thanks to Crested Butte Tent and Party Rental). Theresa looked stunning in The Clark dress by Two by Rosa Clara from d’Anelli Bridal. She wore shoes by Kate Spade. The flower girl wore a dress from J. Crew and the bridesmaids were in Jim Hjelm, (again, from d’Anelli Bridal). Theresa selected flowers in soft shades of blue, apricot, yellow, cream, pink and green including ranunculus, lisianthus, delphinium, veronica, spray roses, freesia, bupleurum and yarrow. Her centerpieces were clusters of colorful buds in antique blue mason jars. They gave a spice blend as the wedding favor of Colorado flavors provided by Rocky Mountain Spice. Theresa created her own unique, beautiful invitations and menu cards to add just the right personal touch to their celebration.

  1. The dog and the yellow flowers collar is TOO CUTE< I LOVE that! I need that too! I wonder if my kitties could be trained to wander down the aisle with some cute little yellow flower collars and not eat them before they get there and not pounce on any bugs?

They can already walk on leashes... Hmmm THE POSSIBILITIES!!! Beautiful! Last couples shot is gorgeous!

  7. Thank you Style Me Pretty for featuring our wedding and thanks to Plum Sage for submitting this, it was a magical day. Speaking of “Magic”, the mastermind that truly made our day happen the way it did was our wedding coordinator, Katja Dietze of Magic Time Events (www.magictimeevents.com). Wedding coordinator is an understatement. She is so much more. She found all of our vendors and worked with us tirelessly to make this day perfect down to the smallest details. (budget, venue, lodging, catering, planning, timeline, sound system, rehearsal dinner, transportation) pretty much anything that needed to get done, she did it! We also used Katja’s Antero Event Rental (www.anteroeventrental.com) She has beautifully elegant things and made it easy for us to have a one-stop shop. So thanks again to Katja for being the glue that brought it all together. It’s not easy to pull this kind of event off in such a remote location. I feel Nathrop Colorado is the best-kept secret for a wedding location. A huge thanks you to all our vendors. Theresa & Jason Bordelon

  8. I love the doggie with the wreath, but he doesn't look very happy.
