If there is one single question that I am asked daily, it’s…what is your favorite wedding trend? And my answer is always the same. The BEST wedding trend on the planet is to infuse your day with details that truly reflect your personality….no matter what tradition may say. Which is exactly what this adorable couple did for their picture perfect Calistoga affair that literally SCREAMS fun. Designed by Alyssa Brown at Alison Events with paper details by Hello! Lucky and photographs by Adi Nevo this wedding is the epitome of SMP style. Click here to see even more!

From Alyssa Brown of Alison Events Planning and Design…Erin and Jeremy got married at a private estate in Sonoma County on a gorgeous summer afternoon. Their whimsical sense of design showed through every last detail, from the card catalog escort card display to the puzzle piece menus. He an astrophysicist, she a law professor and both of them avid readers, their bookish backgrounds provided a lot of inspiration for the big day. In the card catalog, they placed retro candies, wooden puzzles and typewritten cards individually written for each guest, listing out their name, date of birth, table number, subjects they might like to discuss, and people they might be interested in speaking with during the wedding. Table numbers were actual books that represented the interests of the people at each particular table (i.e. Class of ’99 yearbook, San Francisco guide book, etc.).
The floral arrangements on the dinner tables were a mix of bells of Ireland, peonies, scabiosas and more buds arranged in an array of different beakers. The place settings were set with a copy of the Irish Tree of Life and a puzzle piece. Guests were encouraged to put all of their puzzle pieces together, which fit perfectly together to list their menus. After a delicious family style meal in the property’s barn, guests were invited to square dance the rest of the night away while eating hydro ice cream that was being made on-site by a goggle-clad man surrounded by smoke.

Thank you for sharing
This is such a beautiful location! Are there any more details that can be shared?
So many interesting details in this description--and this probably doesn't capture everything. I didn't go to the wedding and I don't know this couple, but it sounds like their personalities combined with the creativity of their wedding planner to create a fun and memorable event! What a lovely way to begin a new life together!
Loved the dress. Very pretty.
Where were the bridesmaids dressess from?
I love the wooden benches for the ceremony. Does anyone know where we can rent those in California?
Love everything – the simplicity, the beauty. Love how the bridesmaids all complement each other. The invitation, all the details, just lovely!
Yes, more information on the venue and rentals, please!
Ooh pretty! I love the flowers and the colors.
love the "hay lounge"!
What a stunning wedding. I especially love the reused library drawers. So beautiful!
Could there BE a cuter couple?! So much love & laughter infused into every detail, and the invitations are to-die-for...no surprise, considering I am a sucker for everything Hello! Lucky creates!
I may be biased, seeing as I am the groom's sister, but this wedding was truly magical and very personal for the beautiful couple. From the amazing site to the refurbished card catalog, the old (sometimes embarassing) family photos, the fun photo booth and lastly the amazing "first dance" the couple shared, this was the most charming, poignant, whimsical and savvy wedding I have ever been to. Kudos and hats off to the both of them for pulling it off so flawlessly!
I want to get married in this area and I am looking for a venue, I would love to know where this is or how I can get in contact with someone who does for more information? What a beautiful venue!
Beautiful barn venue! Also just love the way they did the whole thing up

Hi guys! The venue is called Durham Ranch and yes, it's amazing. All the rentals (including those rad ceremony benches) are from Classic Party Rentals in Napa. Bridesmaids dresses are a mix of Anthropologie and J. Crew. Glad you're enjoying the photos!
Where did you get the sign that said "I always imagined paridise to be some kind of library"? I love the sign and the color! Beautiful wedding.
Can i ask where you obtained the ring pillow? I absolutely love it!
