From Inspiration to Reality: The Style Circle Board
Okay. I am totally obsessed with today’s from Inspiration to Reality. Totally, completely, madly obsessed. But before we get to all of the wedding goodness, we had to share the board that inspired it all. Designed by Tiatrate, over on the Style Circle, it’s modern elegance at its finest. And for those of you who are new to SMP, here’s a little background on the From Inspiration to Reality story. It’s a super cool way for vendors to turn your inspiration boards into a dream photoshoot…chock-a-block full of ideas and steal-worthy details.
This black and white board was brought to life by a pretty incredible team of Montreal vendors, led by the beautiful and ridiculously talented, Azar of Principal Planner Weddings & Events. Here’s a little background on her inspiration…
Old Paris meets modern day fashion week. I wanted to create a couturier inspired design with lace and fabric details throughout. The combination of 1920′s accents with a definite Parisian flair led to my design title of ‘From Paris With Love’ which then led to my adding a dog in the mix. why not! A great new take on the man’s best friend, our great dain Blue was a gentlemen the whole time.

Love the black and white. It's modern and classic at the same time. And that stunning gown is such an expression of style.
I love, love, love the black and white and vintage feel. The cake is gorgeous and love the wedding gown. What a statement this wedding makes!
There seems to be a big move into vintage black recently, with inspiration from Chanel and Hepburn. It's such a classic, standout theme, it's no wonder it seems to keep us going back to it.
