We are not afraid of color around here. In fact we say bring it on; the more the merrier and apparently we aren’t the only ones with a penchant for those rainbow hues. I believe we have in fact found our match with the couple behind this next brightly decorated affair. Not only did they infuse their wedding with every ounce of pretty color they could muster, they also had Twinkies at their dessert table. Twinkies! Oh we have died and gone to fun filled reception heaven. Shot by Lauren Kinsey, this Alabama wedding has a personality of its own and we love every little inch of it including the adorable fairies running around. Get your color on in the gallery where the full wedding is hanging out.

From the Bride, Christine:
The very essence of love is creative, so we wanted everything in our wedding to reflect the creative nature of love. With this in our hearts, we cut, glued, and crafted our dreams into a beautiful vibrant display of color and whimsy. Everything from the cake toppers, to the pendant banners, to the hanging tissue pom pom’s, to the vintage cake trays (assembled from vintage plates and candlesticks), to the colorful pillows at the ceremony, the brides necklace and the bridesmaids necklaces were handmaid by the bride, the brides mother, and the brides sister. Even the standard guest book was traded out for a beautiful canvas in which the guests were asked to color “their flower” with an oil pastel and glue it to a “stem.” The result was a beautiful piece of wedding artwork that will forever be enjoyed! In celebration to our commitment to each other, Matt and I decided that we would save our first kiss for when we walked down the aisle and became husband and wife!

For another Warm Fuzzy little detail, my little brother and sister (who I love!) made this fun stop motion video for us. As you can see from some of the pictures, this was played during our first dance: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DSS8VfEfRRE It was magical!!

I was there and saw this marvelous event come to fruition....no sleep was the cause, the result you can see easily was casual, sophisticated elegance! Truly a love affair for Matt and Christine which they shared with their friends and family from all over. There's no better way to show your style then to do it yourself and they certainly did. Hi Frin5: The flowergirl dresses were purchased through this etsy seller: http://www.etsy.com/shop/tiarastutus
Hey Heather: Keep a look out on other sites. I would type their name into google and and hit the shopping button. You will be surprised at what pops up in a store's inventory! Even if you just run searches on the style you're looking for and again, try that shopping button. I've had good results with this. The best to you!
Hi 1000Mason Jars: Straws are fun and can be purchased at www.candochefs.com. They are available elsewhere too. Try google searches for "red and white paper drinking straws."
Note: if you have an extra long reception, purchase extra paper straws. Inevitably these will begin to unfurl in liquid after awhile.
Hi Soon2b: If you would like, email me at http://theblueskybride.wordpress.com/ I'll see if I can whip up some inspiration for you! :)
Thanks everyone for your kind comments and observations. If I missed any questions, please let me know!
One final side note... I just wanted to encourage every bride that you can make your dreams work magic if you put your heart AND hands into it. We maintained a very conservative budget and were able to.... for lack of better words.... pull beauty out of a hat. lol :) Go for it!
One more try here....

I always enjoy reading quality articles by an individual who is obviously up to snuff on their chosen subject.
I’ve the same problem sometimes, but I usually just force myself via it and revise later. Great luck!
