We are leaping across the pond from Canada to the gorgeous hills of the English countryside for our next fete. This pretty wedding was captured by Chloe of Caught the Light Photography and it is quintessential English splendor. We are loving the intimate, laid back feel of this garden party and think you will too. And the guests deserve an honorable mention for their rockin party wear. See all the fancy frocks and country glamour in the gallery.

From the Bride:
We got married on June 4th this year and had our reception at the very pretty Anchor Inn, in “Jane Austen country”, Hampshire in England, where we live. We fell in love with the venue as soon as we saw it. The staff were helpful and friendly from day one. The country pub offered charm and a laid back atmosphere which is exactly what James and I were looking for. It was perfect. The outside space also sold us as we imagined how wonderful it would be if the weather was good… As it happens it was perfect!
Peonies are my favourite and I was lucky they were in season. I wanted the flowers to be relaxed and pretty, they suited the venue perfectly. Charlotte is my mum and has been a florist for over 20 years I left the flowers completely to her as I trust her judgement completely. She did an amazing job and everyone complimented on how beautiful they were. My bouquet was stunning!

What a gorgeous location and I love the giant games!
Wow, those are some stylish wedding guests, too!
Sooo lovely and sweet. And I agree with the Nicole: the wedding guests are quite fashionable themselves!
what a great looking couple and great photography!
It looks such a wonderful occasion I bet it wasn't like work at all!
Hooray for guests in hats! What a lovely wedding.
Wow!
I live in Southsea, Hampshire and was just saying how much the venue looked like the Anchor Inn.
I couldn't believe it when I saw it was :) It is such a lovely place, I have been a few times for the Sunday Roasts and the food there is always good and the fire is amazing on a cold winters day.
I'm getting married in Italy but would have probably chosen the Anchor Inn if we were staying local as the area perfectly encapsulates the beauty of Hampshire.
Stunning photographs, it looks amazing.

Lovely wedding & beautiful work by Chloé capturing the day. It is so lovely to see an English wedding featured and one that I think displays England at it's very best..
So awesome when I see posts from this side of the pond! Big fan of Caught the Light! Beautiful work.
I love this wedding, especially because it was in England! Sometimes it feels that we over here in UK are really behind times with weddings, so it's always inspiring to see someone be bold and try and be different! Well done all the vendors and couple!
I love the brides hairclip! Any idea where she purchased it?
Thank you!
Thank you lovelies, for this very pretty post!
I just bought those shoes for my wedding!
