Engagement Session by Fleur

This E-Session is so freaking pretty…it could EASILY be a really gorgeous wedding. The flowers alone, designed by the fabulous studio Fleur in Chicago, are enough to send me clear over the edge. Add to that a couple that is madly in love, a little white dress that is absolutely adorable and a pair of cowboy boots and what do you get? Umm….perfection. From Fleur… Brian & Pip will be celebrating their marriage this September.  But first we wanted to take some engagement photos to show off their personality.  Sassy, creative, warm and endearing.., these images capture their joy and love for each other.  The location was Videnovich Farm in Michigan where the couple shared a picnic, strummed their guitars, stole a few kisses and laughed in the rain.  A picnic table was set up as a mock up of their wedding flowers.., vintage glass vessels, blue mason jars and lush vintage-inspired arrangements.

   The Dress: Found it on the sale rack at Macy's the night before the shoot.
   The Boots: Last season's faux leather from Charlotte Russe.

   Kelly, Jaclyn and Jenn are such superstars- they made the day! Without them we'd just be city slickers stomping around in mud.

    Oh, I love it. The colors & glassware really transcend season, don't you think? Only the summer dress gives it away. Amazing photography from amazing photographers! And, I love the wooden ampersand. Fantastic!

I suppose that’s what will happen when you put an incredibly adorable, fashionable, totally head-over-heels in love couple on a farm in Michigan, the likes of which would make any photographer’s heart swoon! Add a creative genius floral designer and a brilliant photographer partner to the mix and you can see why I can barely contain my excitement! Pip and Brian are fantastic!
