Being someone who looks at literally hundreds of weddings every single day, it takes a lot to “wedding surprise” me. I’ve seen it all. Or so I thought! When we stumbled upon this ridiculously adorable circus themed wedding shoot, I squealed! And even though most of you won’t be having a wedding based around a circus, we still think that you are going to fall hard for the absolutely darling details. Designed by Jessica Beltran of Moira Events with photography by Sheri Tennison Berg + Erik Berg of Tangerine Tree Photography, this little gem is DEFINITELY going to make you smile. Our team came together with the concept of a playful, colorful and mostly DIY circus inspired wedding. Once the Invitation Suite by Haven Page Design was designed, we began to pick out the colors and fun patterns and build a fanciful and dreamy display. This color palette then set the tone for the adorable, retro inspired wedding gown and custom bridesmaid dresses by Lynn’s Rags to match. Gorgeous feather and vintage jewel hair accessories by RadoKri Fashion Accessories, in matching colors completed the look for the ladies.

The pièce de résistance is a 100% paper bouquet, hand crafted by Moira Events – hand folded paper rosettes adorned with satin ribbon for a finishing touch. The boutonnière was also crafted from paper rosettes.  The dessert table (The Sweet Studio) offers a simple, paper rosette and ribbon adorned cake, colorful candy apples, popcorn cones and sweet sugar cookies monogrammed to match the fonts used throughout the stationery.

The dinner table features vintage china and flatware, Anthropolgie glassware, a multi colored satin ribbon runner and cheerfully placed paper rosettes provided by Moira Design. Additional touches such as the place cards, table numbers and menu (Haven Page Design) as well as large paper bag garland created an extravagantly playful display. Overall this concept is quite budget friendly, yet rich looking and quite simple for any craft bride-to-be to recreate.
