“I am so excited to have our wedding featured on the Little Black Book Blog! Style Me Pretty was my ‘go to’ site when planning our wedding!”

“I guess I’d have to say that a lot of the inspiration for my wedding stemmed from my Mother, my best friend. She passed away five years ago, but in the weeks leading up to her death, we were able to sit down and cut out pictures and discuss just what it would be like! I was actually extremely lucky to be able to spend so much time with her.” – Caitlin (smp bride!)

Caitlin ~ we know your mom was right there with you … whispering how lovely you were and how much she loves you {and probably had a huge smile on her face over your super-cute yellow shoes}!

Caitlin had a general idea of what she wanted … but wasn’t exactly sure how to pull together all her ideas. She did know a few things, though. She knew she wanted to walk down the aisle to “All I Want Is You” …..

She knew she wanted a happy, fun-filled day surrounded by her family and friends. She knew she wanted her wedding to have a modern vibe with traditional Jewish celebrations. But that was about it! ENTER her terrific wedding planner and designer, Shannon! Caitlin says, “Our wedding would have never come to life without Shannon Lassen of Sublime Events!”

One of the very special touches in Caitlin and Dan’s ceremony was incorporating her grandfather’s prayer shawl in the chuppah.

Oh! Two more things Caitlin wanted?
1. She wanted to walk back down the aisle with Dan to “You & Me” playing!
2. She wanted CANDY. Lots and lots of candy!

The fantastic cake stand was designed by Clara French. Gorgeous florals by Elements in Bloom.

And the day was captured to perfection by LBB member, Laurel McConnell.

Sooooooooo many more delightful shots from Caitlin and Dan’s wedding on Laurel’s blog and in the SMP Photo Gallery!

What a gorgeous wedding! Your mom definitely was so proud and beaming down from heaven!
I love love LOVE all the yellow accents! It's almost mod glamour here. And the bride's dress is to die for, I'm totally smitten with her sash!
Lovely. Beautiful wedding.
Different yet BEAUTIFUL!
Laurel's work is fabulous. I love the yellow :-) Thanks for featuring this, Eddye!
Beautiful wedding. Love the sash too!
Can we find out where the bride got it (of it she made, where she got the embellishment).
Thanks
Gorgeous! Laurel's work is incredible as always - and their event planner, Shannon Lassen, is fabulous too!
i love your colors! i'm wondering where/how you made the crossword puzzles? and the bridesmaid dresses!
That color scheme works superbly with the modern and urban sites they chose for photos. Really stands out.
Gorgeous!!! I love it... all!!
this bride is absolutely gorgeous! but i'm not too crazy about the dress
I absolutely love the bridesmaid dresses! They are so adorable!
I love the sash! Where can I find it?
This is so amazing, and I am honored to have my wedding day displayed. Thanks for all the kind words.. To answer your questions: The bridesmaid dresses were Vera Wang, the sash & dress was from Watters & Watters but the dress shoulder portions were hand done (I needed my shoulders covered in the Jewish Ceremony- which was taken off later), and the crossword I did online! You can just go to: http://www.armoredpenguin.com/crossword/ and then you can have someone print it (my amazing stationary people at Brown Sugar Designs did it..)
Oh- and Laurel & Shannon are simply the BEST! They really made this day happen. Thanks Eddye!
We had a wonderful time working on the flowers for this event - the linens, the design space and of course the beautiful bride made it all come to life! I absolutely LOVE that cake too!
Who is that hot groomsman, and is he single??
This was one of the most visually striking and super fun weddings to attend. All the details were handled just so - fantastic food, flowers, venue. Oh, and the couple are pretty fantastic, too. These pictures take me straight back to dancing the night away!
What a beautiful wedding! I love the candy table and the cake is gorgeous!
Great Blog! Thoroughly enjoyed reading through all the stories and looking at the images. Great job!
It is wonderful to see Laurel McConnell's fabulous images from this wedding at the Seattle Art Museum Olympic Sculpture Park. Shannon from Sublime created a beautifully modern event! Thanks for including one of my cake stands in the celebration!
Great photography. I really appreciate that.
