From Laurel McConnell…
I was so excited to meet Nicole and Steve the week they got married. We’d had a fun phone and email relationship for months while the details of their Northwest wedding fell into place- they’re from Southern California and their celebration was set for a woodsy retreat just a few miles from Seattle. From the start, Nicole and Steve envisioned a quaint and cozy celebration with a country feel and a touch of vintage. They’re romantics at heart, and the style of their celebration shows it! They started at Seattle’s beloved boutique art hotel for some swanky urban fun true to their personal style, and then transitioned to their sunny ceremony in the forest. The afternoon was full of so much love and emotion while they were surrounded by 75 of their favorite friends and family members- the tears of joy started at the ceremony and didn’t end until the party started on the dance floor!! We were so happy to share such a sweet and exciting day in their lives, and can’t wait for the next chapter!

Perfection!!! The invites, flowers, cake, tables and table numbers, labels...love 'em! So pretty!
The personality of the bride and groom is evident in his poka-dot socks and her elegant, yet casual sandals. I love her color scheme. It fits in well with an outdoor wedding.
Absolutely gorgeous! I love the colours, and the bride's dress is stunning. I'm looking for ties for our groomsmen in the same shade but having a hard time finding them - where are they from?
I love the bouquets, so pretty!
Yes, I'd love to know where they ties are from too. Thea, did you try Mens Warehouse? We found some great ones there, but want to get a different one for the groomsmen.
Great arrangement and style!

Nice vintage looking wedding, amazing work Laurel McConnell !!!!!!!!
WOW! Thanks everyone! This was my wedding and I planned it all myself, being a wedding coordinator for 5 year didn't hurt! I'd love to share my finds with you.... My husband picked out the ties at BARNEY'S. I found my shoes at SANDALWORLD.COM. J-Crew bridesmaids dresses. I ordered all the flowers from 1-800-flowers and a hydrangea farm in Northern California. (online, yes, i was very nervous at my decision!) and did all arranging myself. Only spent $900 on floral!!! Table numbers handmade from someone on ETSY.COM (the best web-site ever!) Thanks again!
love this wedding!
Oh the shoes! Beautimous! Laurel gorgeous photos, so romantic.
