Any brides out there with a love for modern? If so, this one is for you. We are so excited to share this AWESOME bit of wedding inspiration photographed by Kristen Weaver, with design and styling by MMD Events and Every Last Detail. Far too little do we come across a wedding, or a photo shoot that has a modern aesthetic so we of course jumped at the chance when this pretty number floated into our inbox. The colors are to die for and the clear lucite mixed with baby’s breath and pale blushes and grey makes for all out romance. Want more? You can see the full shoot in the gallery.

MMD Events teamed up with Every Last Detail to create a modern, chic wedding look for this photo shoot. Our inspiration began with the color gray- we love how modern it is and how it’s perfect with just about any color. Baby pink was the perfect color to add the chic element we were going for. We wanted to show brides how their weddings can be completely beautiful with simple centerpieces and perfectly coordinated details. Peonies and dusty miller were the perfect flowers for small vases. Bunches of baby’s breath added a romantic feel to the whole room.
The details, created by Lauren of Every Last Detail, were designed to show the effect that details can have on wedding décor. Lauren made Chivari chair accents to mimic the look of the popular ribbon and pearl necklaces. She also created table numbers that were designed to be a part of the whole table décor. Paper chargers made of specialty paper were a great way to add some color to the table at an incredibly affordable price. MMD Events created a magnetic escort card display board, complete with a pink frame and gray background. Lauren created escort cards using specialty paper as a background to frame the cards. Everything was finished off with pink and white candles to illuminate the room, creating a perfectly modern, chic wedding look!
We like to say that this shoot was a “Twitter Photo Shoot” because some details were provided by vendors who responded to a tweet from Lauren. She tweeted asking if any vendors had something they would like to contribute, and they responded! The gorgeous hair pieces were provided by Bethany Lorelle, and jewelry from Monet complemented them beautifully. An Etsy store, LindenLovebirds, sent the most perfect pink and gray shoe clips that went perfectly with the gray shoes our model wore. Paper products designed by Southern Fete were placed on top of gray napkins at the place settings, adding another modern element with just the right amount of color.
Many of the elements from this photo shoot can be recreated by brides for their own weddings. Minimal design is key for this look- small centerpieces and clean lines make for a perfectly modern, chic design. Paper chargers are easy to make and can be made to complement any style of décor. The biggest take-away from this shoot is that details make a huge difference, even when they’re as small as a chair accent.

Beautiful. Although strange that there are no photos of the groom.
I realize it's a photo shoot.*
Omg this is stunning! I'm loving the grey and pink palette. And could those peonies be ANY more perfect? I think not. Beautiful!
Such a clean, tailored look...& I've never seen baby's breath look so chic!
Thank you for the kind comments! Yes, the peonies were perfection, and the baby's breath was the perfect complement! When used in large bunches, it is absolutely amazing!
ohhhh, so pretty! Love the little strong of beads and ribbon on the chairs - I've never seen that before!
Grr I'd just made up my mind on yellow details, this is not the first thing i needed to see! Haha, the pink is so lovely!
Beautiful! I love the mix of modern and romantic!
This looks AWESOME!! PS- find this wonderful Monet jewelry at Macys, Belk, Bonton, Boscovs and Dillards! And coming in October 15th, an e-commerce site!
I love this! Every pink wedding I see on SMP just confirms my decision that a pink wedding is perfect for me!
Can someone tell me where they got those acrylic glass table numbers? The one that says "table 4"...??
This is so captivating, romantic, modern, and just beautiful. The colors blend so well together, and who ever did the photo shoot done an excellent job capturing it all.
Love all the baby's breath!!
I love the mix of sweet and modern. I love Kristen's work!!!
WOW!!! There is not one part of this inspiration piece that I don't absolutely love. I especially love the gray/pink color scheme, the peonies and the clear glass table numbers...and the dog in the last photo!
This whole shoot looks just like Mrs. Lovebug's wedding from Weddingbee. Same colors, same fonts, same vibe.
WOW....this is my EXACT wedding! From the color palette to modern decor, the silver chiavari chairs and linens, to the soft pink peonies. I even have dark hair like the bride HAHA wait till I show this to my planners/vendors-- they will flip! This is exactly what I've already bought and envisioned with them. The only thing missing is baby breathe--don't have that. Too cool =) Love Love Love!!
@ Krista- I actually created the table numbers special for the shoot. I'll be starting an Etsy store soon just for wedding details, but in the meantime, you can email me! :) lauren {at} everylastdetailblog.com
Absolutely stunning! I love the simplicity! Pink and gray is an awesome combination!
I had baby's breath and peonies at my wedding. I smile and get chills every time I see them used, because it is such a simple sophistication and source of great memories.
Great job!! Really beautiful. Love it!
i love the light pink accents... SO beautiful!
Wow! This is gorgeousss! I love it, it looks so pretty~ I do love the grey and pink it sends out warmth if that makes sense! Beautiful!
I love the soft pink in the peonies that is then reflected throughout the theme. It's so feminine and pretty. Wish there were a better shot of her pink shoes though, they look gorgeous from what I can see!
Finally, at 32, I google myself to find that my favorite color matches, pink and gray, and baby's breath - had to have in every flower arrangement..I do believe it was all meant to be. Absolutely breathtaking!
wo,.it's very beautiful!!!
