Beach Wedding by Franklin + Gower
Okay, so the title is a little bit deceiving. This isn’t so much a real wedding as it is a perfectly styled photoshoot by some of our FAVORITE. DESIGNERS. EVER. Franklin + Gower. The kings of chic, preppy style for your men and your maids. And for you if you feel like rocking customized khaki’s down your wedding aisle. “Smile often and keep positive.” That is the philosophy of Franklin+Gower, Los Angeles based clothier whose fun prints and clean lines are bringing a new twist to grooms wear. Franklin+Gower had the perfect location, a private estate on the sand in Malibu so we wanted to design a romantic and fresh wedding that could take place there and keep the vibe positive and the models smiling. We selected décor that kept to a clean neutral palette with pops of a fun color.
We mixed fresh ranunculus and succulents with sola wood flowers for a fresh feel that would last in the summer heat on the beach. A burlap runner down the feasting style table was accented with large coral pieces, vintage books and lanterns, vases made of recycled glass and small accent floral arrangements. Linen hemstitch napkins tied with twine sat on rattan chargers at each place setting. In lieu of place cards, we labeled mini-galvanized pails with a fresh planted succulent.
The ceremony alter was made up of a bamboo and chiffon Chupah, with tiebacks of fresh amaranths. Our groom and groomsman wore seafoam green slim fit trouser with a green and white patterned side-stripe and coordinating pocket square, with a navy blue blazer. Our bride and bridesmaid wore dresses by Thread. They each carried bouquets of ranunculus and succulents tied with burlap.
This beach wedding was so fun to create, the entire team came together and it shows. No detail was overlooked and the inspiration was overwhelming! It was the perfect way to start the summer.

I didn't catch that this was a photoshoot at first. I was about to say that is the most beautiful bride that has ever been on SMP. lol.
THIS is the hairstyle I want for my beach wedding! Does anyone know if the bride's hair is naturally wavy? Mine is straight, but I would love to achieve this look!
