Nothing screams sweet summer love like a Volkswagen bus and a glowing couple. We happen to adore this combination in all of its laid-back glory. Shot by Erin Jean Photography, this wedding is equal parts DIY (even the groom got involved in the crafting!) and lovely Wisconsin woodsiness. And the best part that is sure to make all of the grooms out there insanely envious – it was held at the Hinterland Brewery in Green Bay. Now that is casual elegance at its best. You can find more from this easy, breezy day in the gallery so get clicking.

Elizabeth and Jake had the most amazing wedding. It took place at intimate, upscale restaurant in Green Bay, Wisconsin called Hinterland. They choose it because of the decor but mostly for the wonderful food. Elizabeth and Jake did almost all the decor themselves. They really had a breathtaking, do it yourself, wedding! Jake cut birch trees from the woods and drilled holes for flowers and candles into hundreds and hundreds of them. They also gathered vintage spoons from antique stores. Bended, drilled and beaded each one to serve as a recipe card holder (name card) at the wedding. The details were everywhere!!! A family friend did the flowers and Elizabeth collected vintage pieces for a while and had them displayed all over.

Something like what I was envisioning for my wedding. Beautiful everything, great photography.
Someone please tell me the brand of this dress from David's Bridal!!!! Love the VW photos...
BEAUTIFUL photos and beautiful gown..Love it!
Her dress is gorgeous. Also, love love love the boutonniere!
makes me want to go check out DB for that dress... the flower girls are adorable! Love them!
Beautiful dress... If I didn't know better I would say it is Casablanca #1900. It doesn't look like a David's Bridal, but maybe style # WG9821?
Where are her shoes from? Love them.
What a cute place card holder idea - pending forks! I bet you could do table cards with larger size serving forks.
I can't believe this is all DIY! It's so beautiful and unique, with a natural, rustic and vintage atmosphere
that bouquet is stunning!!!
Perfect amount of vintage details without being kitschy. Also, I love all the forest green--beautiful accent color.
I just have to say that's NOT from David's Bridal. I'd recognize my dress (Casablanca 1900) anywhere.
That is an absolutely gorgeous dress, and I would love to know the style.
beautiful photos and absolutely stunning lace gown!
Hi! Erin (the photographer) here :) The dress in NOT from Davids Bridal. A local wedding dress shop. :)
I have also seen this Casablanca with sleeves--stunning! it is truly one of my favorites in years of being a bridal consultant. David's has a knockoff I believe, but nothing can copy the romantic, whimsical ethereal feel of this gown. This dress is also insanely reasonably priced.
I'm loving the piled-on pearls!
I absolutely love the grooms outfit. I am looking for the color of the jacket he's wearing and love the color of the pants too. Can anybody tell me where the whole look is from? Thanks!
AHHHHH! That's my dress, too! It makes me want to put it on again (it's been two months since my wedding)!! It IS Casablanca #1900, and not from Davids Bridal. She looks gorgeous in it!
Also, good taste, Brianne! ;)
It is was my dress too! I got married almost 8 months ago - man oh man i love that dress!! she does look perfect in it :) and yes... NOT from David's bridal :)
Congrats Elizabeth & Jake!!! :)
the best photographer in wisconsin... for sure!
Does anyone know, or can ask the bride, where this necklace is from, maker, price? I love it and i think it really adds to the dress. please, I know my comment is delayed. Please let me know. thx
This is the dress I am thinking about buying! I tried it on the other day and loved it, but didn't get it yet. Now that I have seen this blog I am convinced it is the dress for me. So beautiful! Thanks for sharing this wedding!
I would also like to know where the necklace is from! I love it!
I really like the flowers! We are getting married in the Green Bay area this spring. I am also hoping to keep a natural feel to the flowers. Can you tell me who the florist was?
