Yesterday, we gave you a quick look at Seema and Mahesh’s stunning wedding from Thomas Bui Lifestyle with florals designed by Kathy Wright & Company. We are always amazed at the glorious and vibrant colors used in traditional Indian weddings, and today’s wedding is definitely a masterpiece! This first shot by True Photography absolutely intrigues me … I tried to research any symbolism, but came up empty-handed. None the less, I think it belongs in a virtual ‘hall of fame’! I LOVE it.

The exquisite photography is by True Photography …

Kathy Wright & Company designed the electric florals ~ an amazing array of flowers throughout the entire celebration!

One of the things that absolutely mesmerizes me are images of hands. Loving, trusting hands …

Seema & Mahesh’s exuberant party continued with even more brilliant beauty!

From Thomas Bui …
Seema and Mahesh were married at the Hilton Torrey Pines in La Jolla, CA. She is graduate from Standford Law and he is a graduate and professor at Princeton University. They met by chance. She went out one night with a group of friends when one of the acquaintances was supposed to meet Mahesh. Luckily, the girl never showed up!
These photos are from the three day celebration with 400 of their friends and family. The first religious ceremony was held at her parent’s home in Rancho Santa Fe, CA. The second day was the Henna/Mehndi party for 250 guests. The design and decor was primarily orange and red. The mandap was beautifully draped with custom fabric and props from India. The guest tables were draped in a cream satin linen with Swarovski crystals. Red and burgundy carnations graced each table.

WOW. What a beautiful wedding! The colors are fantastic. Great job Thomas Bui!
Thomas Bui is an awesome Planner! He will be doing my wedding in two Saturdays and is by far the best investment I made for my wedding!
Fantastic event! Indian weddings are so full of color! I wish more brides would use more color! Great job by Thomas Bui!
Wow... amazing color at this wedding!
I think the significance of the first picture has to do with the 7 steps (sapta padi) of the Hindu wedding ceremony, representing 7 vows. At my wedding, I did it with one stone moved forward for seven steps; here, they seem to have used 7 stones.
FYI - it is mentioned above that this is an Indian Wedding, it is actually a Hindu Wedding... there is a difference.
beautiful, absolutely beautiful! Great job everyone =)
Beautiful! And the photo of the little girl is adorable! Fabulous job!!
I am the father of the bride, and Thomas Bui is the best wedding planner we have had. He took care of every details, including lunches for the girls when they were getting ready. We loved working with him and his work. We wish him the very best and he will always be our first choice. Thank You Tom and good luck to you.

This is what you mean by the big fat Indian wedding!
