OK ~ first of all … Romy’s headband? Love it! Her gown … adore! A barn and a carousel … huge smile!

Romy and Ryan were married in August of last year at this amazing site ~ Calamigos Ranch. I want to go there! The terrific team at The Hidden Garden sent us these images from the very talented Drew B Photography …

Trisha at The Hidden Garden shared this with us …
Romy & Ryan dreamed of a wedding that would compliment the natural & outdoor environment of Calamigos Ranch in Malibu. Romy was going for simple elegance with a whimsical & feminine touch. The color palette incorporated soft shades of blush pink, champagne and greens for texture, with an accent of deep eggplant. They achieved this look in every way possible!

To incorporate a romantic vintage feel the bride and groom chose to have crystal chandeliers hanging from various trees throughout the garden and the reception tent. The backdrop to the ceremony was a majestic oak tree from which ribbons of flowers hung overhead.

The bride’s bouquet was wrapped in French Satin ribbon as well as fabric from her wedding gown with a family heirloom broche; the bouquet was an overflow of dahlias, roses, blush peonies, with accents of eucalyptus berries and geranium leaves creating a textured feel.

from the beautiful bride, Romy … It will come as no surprise, given “our story”, that the general theme I envisioned for our wedding was a romantic, overgrown forest. I believe my exact instructions to our florists at The Hidden Garden were “like something out of a fairy tale”—and boy did they deliver it!
So ~ you want more??? Lucky for us … Julie at Elysium Productions sent us the full featured wedding film! As always, the mega-talented crew at Elysium captured the essence of love, the essence of romance and the glory of the day!
Read the rest of Romy and Ryan’s story on Elysium’s Blog and see more of the fabulous florals here in the gallery! Our thanks to Trisha at The Hidden Garden for sharing!

I love, love, love her flowers!
Many warm congratulations to the beautiful couple! :)
Romy, who was your dress by? You made a STUNNING bride! :)
Romy your day with Ryan was beyond sublimely beautiful. So much love. I wept I have never seen such a beautiful wedding I loved the way you had the chiffon drape flow into the decor with the faerie lights, and those flowers truly were a magical faerie garden. that gown was so delightful and flowed gloriously as you moved.
You are a very blessed girl and I congratulate you on a masterpiece of a showing.
thanks for sharing I do believe there are no words to capture this wedding.
Hope you are both very happy.
Amazing wedding Romy!!! So happy to see it on my favorite blog and to be a part of the big day.
Ally,
Romy dress looks like the Amy Michelson Grace without the full crinoline. This dress is amazing! I am possibly looking to sell this dress after my wedding this month if anyone is interested.
LOVE the dress and head band!! Where can I find that head band? Absolutely beautiful.
Really beautiful and pretty wedding. Love the colours... dreamy but not girly or froo-froo. And that dress!!! Very unique. One sees so many strapless gowns, it's nice to see something different.
What a seriously gorgeous dress!
so excited to see Romy & Ryan's wedding on Style Me Pretty!! thanks so much for the post!
Thank you for sharing Romy & Ryan's wedding with everyone. Not only was the wedding, bride, and groom beautiful... but, they are one of the most fun, sweet, loving, and sincere couples I've ever worked with. Beauty all around! Thank you SMP! Xoxo
Romy, your wedding is stunning and full of style and love. Can you please let us know where you got your rhinestone headpiece? Its beautiful!
I love the barn. LOVE.
Wow! I was so excited to see this pop up in my reader! Thanks so much for featuring Romy and Ryan's wedding! Not only was their wedding spectacular, but Romy and Ryan are two of the most kind and loving couples I have ever had the pleasure of working with. I feel so fortunate to have been a part of their special day!
So very pretty .. the delicate muted pastel hues of the flowers are stunning!
Congratulations to you guys! Hope you'll have a great life together. The journey has just begun.
Wow! Thanks, SMP for this post! I feel honored to be featured here and hope our wedding will give future brides some ideas and inspiration, and-most of all-show how blissfully wonderful your wedding day will be!
The gown IS the Amy Michelson "Grace" dress, but since I'm so short (5'3"), she graciously customized it with the bottom fit of what I believe was called the "Amore". AM has beautiful, simple yet elegant, timeless designs, and I was extremely impressed with the quality. It's like a never worn, perfectly tailored version of your grandmother's antique gown.
The headpiece and earrings were both by Maria Elena. Also, beautiful, timeless pieces.
Thank you Drew and Trisha for the kind words. Gals/Guys-if you're looking for a photographer and florist in So Cal please get in touch with Drew B and the Hidden Garden (and Elysium for video). As much as I would like to take credit for how beautifully it all turned out, I had an AMAZING team that made it all possible. They are seriously the best of the best, plus it felt like it was friends I was working with who just wanted to give us the best day possible. I am just so thankful, words cannot even express!
favorite. wedding. ever. Congratulations Romy and Ryan on your marriage and on such a perfectly beautiful wedding!
LOVE the barn!
