But wait! I guess we need to back it way up …….. because not only are the bride & groom pretty darned funny …….. they’re also flat out beautiful!

Martha and Mike’s gorgeous wedding was captured by the amazing Raw Photo Design team! On Amber and Eric’s blog, they said, “Martha and Mike just get it … their wedding day was filled with ridiculous fun, happy tears, family, friends … and the details were magical!

Peacock feathers ruled the day!

And at the end of the day … a fantastic blast of confetti!

Now back to the wild and crazy photobooth …

Wowza! I seriously just want to dive right into that boat full of oysters. I'm loving all the deets, especially this peacock theme woven throughout the whole kit and kaboodle. It's like the perfect fusion of preppy chic meets uptown glamour and I'm loving it!
That......is quite possibly the most beautiful wedding dress I've ever seen. The way the photog captured it hanging on the door is stunning! I also like the pic of the men w/cigars. Very cool! Another great post, SMP!
Could you tell me where the bridesmaid dresses came from? I love them. I also love the photo with the rings in the oyster shell.
I am in LOVE with this wedding - gorgeousness throughout! Where did they get the confetti guns??? That's such a fun idea!!!
Can someone tell me where the presumably Mother of the Bride's dress is from...the beautiful teal color is exactly what my mom is looking for! Thanks!
Hi! Thanks for all of the nice comments!!
In response to some of the questions:
Bridesmaid Dresses are Lucy from Jenny Yoo
My mother's dress is Kay Unger from Bloomingdales or Nordstroms. She looked absolutely stunning!!!
We got really lucky with the confetti guns. One of our friends is a pyrotechnic guy (does all of the fireworks shows for six flags/new jersey etc) and he brought those with him. You need to have a license to get those but i know that there are some smaller ones out there that can be bought online.
Happy Planning!!
Martha - absolutely beautiful wedding! I'm also getting Jenny Yoo dresses for my bridesmaids. I'm just wondering what color you chose for the dresses? They turned out beautiful in the pictures! Oh, and I totally love the shoes - do you mind me asking where they are from?
Photo booth is a kick!
I love celebrations near the water, preferable the ocean. There is something rather symbolic about taking your vows near a place that seems as infinite as an ocean.
Hey Meghan-
For the bridesmaids dresses... I think the color was just named "navy"... although i'm not seeing it on the Jenny Yoo website... i guess the closest one would be the Caymen Blue.
The girls shoes are just a classic Calvine Klein pump... http://www.zappos.com/calvin-klein-dolly-midnight-satin
My shoes on the other hand came from some random stand in Singapore...my mom picked them up when she was over there.
Good luck with everything!
Hi Martha
Stunning photos! So many beautiful details. I really love your necklace and would love to know where you found it :-)
Best
Bernadette
Hi Bernadette!
My necklacce is actually a combination of a few things. Mike got me the top strand for a wedding gift and then there were two long strands of my mothers that wraped around twice.
Martha
Hi Martha,
You were a beautiful bride. We are about to sign a contract for the Marc Jacobs Band can you please give me your honest opinion and anything we need to know ASAP
Stunning photography, the light is gorgeous. I love the recent trend of moustaches and props in photo booths. So adorable.
Wedding was absolutely beautiful! I'm getting married in August and we are using touches of peacock feathers. Love the idea of the birdcage card box...where did you get it? I havent found one that I love yet.
