I know we’re all about girly giddiness here on SMP. Gorgeousness, Fabulousness and Insanely Chic are among our very favorite words. But this time, I am desperately searching for a way to tell you how much I really do love this shoot. I want to literally DIVE into the dessert table head first, want to lounge around at the dinner table for hours, drinking impossible amounts of wine. I want to move right on into this shoot, to set up shop and never leave. Designed by the insanely talented (there I go again) Heather Waraksa and Xochitl of Always a Bridesmaid with flowers by the beloved Brooklyn based shop, Saipua…this shoot is heaven, right here on earth. And did we mention that there is SO much more to see? Click here!

From Heather Waraksa…When Xochitl, from Always a Bridesmaid, and I met, we knew that the venue was key. We thought 632 on Hudson would be the perfect backdrop to the story. We imagined our couple were worldly, long distance lovers who kept in touch with lengthy love letters. We just loved this sense of longing. We also liked the idea of them being “serendipidous and a little sentimental”. For the shoot, we wanted to capture several model scenes… A boudoir look (which I love shooting before the bride gets into her dress), wedding look (feminine but not princessy) and an after party look. We imagined an intimate gathering for the wedding with a late lunch following and a dessert table.
Other ideas that we infused included classic literature with personalized book plates for favors, personalized “Love Postion” cocktails and the fabulous guest bags with the ” To Have and To Hold” icon by Melangerie NYC. For entertainment, we imagined shadow puppets (click thru the gallery to see) that would tell their love story as guests were waiting for the ceremony to begin and a music box that would play as the bride walked down the aisle. Very fairytale chic.

This is completely spectacular. So glam. So chic. LOVE!!!
This is truly inspired. It's like a breath of fresh air. So new, so unique, so wonderfully beautiful. That gilded cake takes my breath away, and I can't stop obsessing over the fashions! And, of course, all the little details are just divine.
Where is the bag from (To have and to hold)?
That gold cake is....well...I'm speechless really. Amazing. The whole thing is simply amazing.

Wow! I love dinner table set up. Such a wonderful intimate rustic feel to it.
Beautiful photos. Does anyone know where the pearl/black satin purse is from?
I am just IN LOVE with how that dress (1st one) looks on her but when I ran to see it on the designer's site it doesn't look nearly as good. Boo!
Ooooo J'adore!! This is gorgeous
I'm so glad everyone liked it. The bag (the Have and to Hold) is from Melangerie. They have an etsy shop as well.
I love these wedding dresses!
ADORE this shoot.... I really cannot get enough! The bag by Melangerie is super precious and I must say, I am obsessed with ALL of the wedding looks... so much variety! Great inspiration to start off the weekend :)
I just want to say that Betsy at Nine Cakes is just lovely. I live thousands of miles away from Brooklyn so I can't order her cake but phoned to see if she could give me some advice - and she was just so very sweet, warm and helpful. I didn't want a wedding cake until I saw her gold creation! Wishing very successful caking for Betsey!!!
Where is the groom? Guests!
This shoot is so fantastic!! The opulence and elegance is perfect with the rustic tables! Like an estate wedding in Europe!
I love this! Where can I get my hands on that party dress?! I checked out the designer's website but it doesn't have a place to shop her clothes!... I want to wear that to my rehearsal dinner in August!
Stunning! I love every bit of this. Love the mix of rustic and glamour.
