Next to weddings, my love of interior décor takes a close second place in my heart. I love that a mood, personality and even humor can be conveyed with décor. This cozy Carmel barn wedding is a combo of both great wedding style and killer decorative taste. A barn, Mexican-inspired art and chandeliers have no real business being in the same venue – but low and behold, the result of that combination is something magical. Throw in some eye-catching tall centerpieces and you’ve got yourself some incredibly chic ambiance that can’t be duplicated. Seeing this wedding through photographer Lisa Lefkowitz’s lens is an absolute treat. For even more, click right here. xoxo Chantale from La Belle Bride

Lots more gorgeousness right here!
From Lisa Lefkowitz: Kyle and his family had enjoyed years of holidays and family gatherings on the Preserve, and after he proposed to Jen in his favorite redwood grove on the property, they knew it would be the perfect venue to honor and celebrate the beginning of their new life together as husband and wife. Less than a year later, in the exact red wood grove where they got engaged, Jen and Kyle exchanged vows amongst family, friends and towering redwoods – and began a celebration of a lifetime.
The reception was held in the Preserve’s rustic old barn. A family style menu, personally designed by Kyle, incorporated their favorite organic tastes of the California coast (guests were asked to offer messages within a leather bound version of the couple’s favorite cookbook so that each time they attempted a recipe they would be fondly reminded of their wedding day). The long dining tables were adorned with Tuscan linens and dramatic candelabras adorned with peonies, roses, sweet peas and local berries – all Jen’s favorite summer blooms. Enormous crystal chandeliers adorned the towering ceiling of the barn, creating the perfect juxtaposition of rustic charm and traditional elegance. Following dinner, the band rocked late into the evening, while the Preserve staff continued to delight pallets with a delectable assortment of sweet bites and late night snacks. It was the perfect evening for Jen + Kyle – filled with the love of family and friends, great food and lots of FUN!

WOW gorgeous wedding. I love where the ceremony was with the tall trees as the backdrop!
I'm with you Chantale. I wish my life could look like this! Gorgeous.
There is nothing rustic about this wedding! Yes, the location is a barn but what a beautiful barn and that chandelier! *swoon* This is just all-out glamorous. Love it!
I love this! I'm obsessed with the idea of an event that is a mix of rustic and chic! Beautiful and amazing dress!!
Okay, so the the chandelier in the middle of the barn took my breath away! What a classy affair!
that venue is gorgeous!!! love that touch of glam with the chandelier
I absolutely love wedding with a natural setting
I couldn't agree more.....the combination of rustic and elegant is absolutely breathtaking! The dresses are beautiful and the setting is gorgeous. I love the combinations of flowers, especially the pretty, low cluster of flowers in simple, clear glass vases. In fact, I am featuring blue and white hydrangea clusters as a centerpiece for my table in my week long July 4th blogs (each day will share menu ideas, step by step recipes, buffet and tablescapes) http://moreismoremom.com
This is my first visit to your page and I love it. I'll check back soon!
Like everyone else, I love the combination of rustic and glamour with the chandelier hanging in the barn! The bride's dress is amazing!
Wow...The chandelier in the barn...the wide shot of the outdoor ceremony..that barn reception..this is the perfect wedding..
one word...WOW!!!!
I love the guest book - where did they get it?! What a gorgeous wedding.
the chandelier just about did it for me. gorgeous rustic wedding!
Beatiful photos. It would be nice to see some that weren't posed, though.
Wow. Those trees, the chandelier, the beautiful barn... All I can think is Wow! Amazing wedding!
One thing I love about SMP is to see the brides actually wearing these dresses that you see in magazines, on-line. etc. I saw the bride's dress on the OdlR webpage (it's from Spring 2008) and thought "Who would wear that?" But it's stunning on a real bride, much prettier on a real girl than a model. Love the ruffle trim!
May I ask where you got the chandelier or how you went about hanging it in the barn. I am looking to do this EXACT thing :-)
Thanks
Where exacly is this place at??
I LOVE your chandeliers They are beyond beautiful ...stunning!
Love the location, the kinda wedding that I am imagining. Where is it at???
