Oh la la. This is gonna blow your hair back. That’s how cool we’re getting over here at SMP. This indie Arizona shoot is just pure unadulterated hipster wedding love. And here’s the kicker: This insanely gorgeous shoot is not only extremely hip but also budget-friendly! YES! Photographer Stephanie Fay and wedding coordinator Ashley Gain are the stylish geniuses behind this shoot. It’s like a lovely wedding picnic with the cutest indie bride and groom on earth… and we’re all invited! XOXO, Chantale from La Belle Bride

Ashley gives us the scoop behind the inspiration for this shoot:
The inspiration behind this shoot was antique feel mixed with modern elegance with but also creating something an every-day budget conscience bride would be able to replicate. I believe in sticking to one concept and allowing the event/design to just grow but keeping it classy. The entire design was centered on the colored glass flower containers. I went to several antique stores in the Scottsdale area and purchased each container for no more than $4 dollars. Pinks, blues, greens….like a antique stained glass window being brought to life on a table.
I wanted the scene to be romantic and soft. Stephanie found a stunning orange grove whose leaves had fallen because of the winter. They made for a magical surrounding.
I believe in the dreams of a bride, no matter what they may be. The planning, dreaming and months of a bride’s engagement are the true celebration for any wedding day. With that said, I set out to find inexpensive elements that ANY bride could bring together to make her wedding day dreams a reality! The brides dress was from Last Chance Nordstroms for $8.97, the jewelry was For Love 21 necklaces/hair piece that I cut apart and then beaded/sewed back together to create an antique feel…total cost $23. The grooms vest, tie & shirt were all from Kohl’s and totaled around $50 (I know, it’s a first, the groom’s outfit cost more than the brides!).
Thanks Ashley! Wonderful job!

Oh my gosh, this is so sweet! The dark woods contrasts with the bright, flowery table to create a sort of dream-like fairytale scene. My fave part is that fur stole! LOVE that!
