  1. Courtney says:

Love the Natural Daylight design! As much as I hope we receive it, i doubt we'll get the wine fridge... :)

  2. Kaelyn says:

I love the dandelion dream design! And as for my registry gift, I don't forsee anyone getting us the cream whipper i so desperately want!

  3. Sarah and Ben says:

We loved the Cherry Tree design. It was the first design that really caught Sarah's eye, and Ben liked the simplicity of the design. His and Her kayaks are what we would LOVE to receive from our gift registry, but probably will not receive.

  4. Meghan says:

I loved the Together Forever design in Navy. I would be surprised if someone ended up getting us the beach cruiser bikes we registered for :)

  5. Rayna says:

I love the Focus on the Couple Design in off-white - totally fun with a focus on shoes, which we both love! Dominic is convinced we are not going to get our Dyson vacuum - he doesn't think that anyone would buy a vacuum for a wedding gift. I am holding out, I have loved that vacuum since before I loved him!

  6. Emily says:

I like together forever (in green), too, @Meghan. Nice and simple.

I mix seltzer with juice all the time but hate purchasing all that plastic, so we registered for a soda-maker at Williams-Sonoma. I have a feeling I'll be purchasing it myself with our six-month-after-wedding discount.

  7. ashley k says:

what a fabulous giveaway! i like the color burst autumn orange best.
we are still in the process of putting our registry together, but i would be surprised if anyone got us the Bialetti Mukka cappuccino maker i've had my eye on for so long!

  8. Jessica says:

Spring Blossum! So gorgeous and elegant!

  9. Lys says:

Ooh, I love the Dandelion Dreams in green or the Bicycle Built for Two (though neither match our colour scheme of turquoise and yellow).

I wish I could give an answer as to what item on our registry we don't expect to get, but we're not even going to have a registry anywhere. We're having a small destination wedding just outside of LA, and we're asking people to just spend their money on their trip to spend the weekend with us rather than gifts. We would really like for people to join us in celebrating instead of sending a material object in their place. Any money people insist on giving us will most likely go towards helping those of our friends who aren't financially able to afford their own tickets or accommodations. If I had to have one thing, it would be a red kitchenaid mixer or a turquoise royal quiet deluxe typewriter (vintage and working, of course).

  10. Brandi says:

I won a free wed-site for Nearlyweds late last year and just now started setting it up and I love it! I've had a few questions in the set up process and each time I email them for help I get a response within the same day that is both warm and helpful. I'm so glad that this opportunity dropped into my lap otherwise I may have ended up somewhere I regretted later. =D

  11. Shantel says:

The Rustic Print Evergreen design is perfect! I am planning a rustic barn wedding and this simple yet beautiful design would compliment the style of the day so well! Really great and elegant designs, not at all boring like so many other wedding website sites. I am dying for a food processor to make those yummy salsas, but among all the other things we need, I don't think that will be first on the list of my 50 guests.

  12. Erin B. says:

These websites are divine! Patrick and I love the Vintage Rock design- It fits us perfectly since we met when we were both DJs at the same radio station. <3 We would LOVE a record cabinet to store all of our old records! http://www.apartmenttherapy.com/sf/scavenger/scavenger-antique-olive-green-vintage-record-cabinet-for-50-san-francisco-069533

Thank you for the opportunity! :)

  13. Rebecca says:

I like the modern whimsy design! But they are all so great! The one thing on our registry that we won't get is cattle! Okay, so they really aren't on our registry because you can't register for a cow at Target or Dillards. But we would love to get some cows to start our own ranch. But a serious gift we won't get is a really nice knife set that would be useful for preparing meals over the years.

  14. Kendra says:

Cherry Blossom is so sweet! We'd love to use this!

  15. Christine says:

Love love love the modern paisely cabernet website design! So perfect!!!

  16. Lily says:

I love the Leaves + Vine design!

The item on our registry that I don't expect anyone to actually buy for us is the All Clad cookware set. A girl can dream though, right?

  17. Liz says:

I love San Francisco (where we met!) but I also love IlluminA! I also don't think we'll probably get the Scrabble set we asked for, simply because people think it's a joke! Thanks for this opportunity!

  18. joey says:

Two Birds Charcoal is my favorite design! Although I have been looking at the ice cream makers from Williams and Sonoma for a long long time, I'm pretty sure no one will get it for us even if it is on our registry!

  19. Lauren says:

My heart skips a beat for the Sea Grass design in Marigold! It is perfectly simple and beautiful. Oh, and as much as we'd love to enjoy goodies dipped in warm chocolate, we probably won't end up getting the gala fondue set we registered for from Crate & Barrel!

  20. Jacquie says:

I love bicycle built for 2- it goes perfectly with my wedding theme and I haven't been able to find an online wedding web-site that has bikes on it!!! So happy!!! The one registry gift we don't think we will get is Kitchen Aid mixer- but fingers crossed :)

  21. Alisha Reed says:

I love the bicycle built for two design- Caleb and I rode a two seat bike in our save the date!! http://www.facebook.com/video/video.php?v=1354380617018&comments -- Although the two seat bike is really fun, We really want old school bikes that we can ride separately! But that's one thing I doubt we get!

  22. Liz says:

My favorite is the "Spectacular" design by Izzygirl. So much fun!

And I'm pretty sure no one will buy us the All-Clad Stainless Steel Asparagus Pot. It sounds ridiculous right? Everyone will be like, what the heck is an asparagus pot and why do they need it? But what can I say, I love asparagus. :)

  23. Jenny says:

The Rustic Print European Design is the one that fits us both the most. What a wonderful wedding website page! :) I'd love a Kitchen Aid mixer!

  24. Danielle says:

I like the Modern Toile design in Aqua by Nearlyweds! They all are very nice tho! All I'm really registering for is a kitchenaid stand mixer and maybe a washer & dryer. Now that I've seen Hatch my House, I'm all about it!

  25. Shayna says:

I love Minted! I got my save the dates from Alaina Cherup (cheerupcherup.etsy.com) and she has really great faux bois invites available on Minted and was really lovely to work with, highly recommend her work. And that Hatch My House? What a cool idea!

  26. christina says:

So many awesome designs! I love the Bruised Neo Victorian in Blue. Perfect marriage of modern and classic design. Plus they offer matching stationary! Love that! My fiancee and I talk to each other in our sleep and are thinking of putting a voice activated recorder on our registry to capture our subconscious convos. Can only imagine the the fun we'll have listening to each other!!!!

  27. obgyngirl says:

I love Nearlyweds! Focus on the Couple By Derric Wise Designs. It is the perfect fit for our personalities and color scheme. As for the gift we may not receive - the volcanic rock mortar and pestle. I think some people may not understand it's value in preparing the guacamole for taco night for the rest of our lives.

  28. TB says:

I love the Tangled Trellis Gold design - it matches our invitations perfectly! In regards to our registry, I don't think anyone will buy us the blender we registered for....just because it is so "cliche." But we would really love one to make some fun summer time mixed drinks!

  29. Theckla says:

LOVE the Toile Border design, in Aqua. Super classic, yet a fun and different design for a wedding website. It was hard to choose, there were a lot of cute choices!

As for the registry, we are newly engaged and haven't even thought about that yet! I'm sure we'll have some odd things on our registry though that people don't get us. One thing we're holding out for though is an ice cream maker - its the one thing we wish we had on pretty much a daily basis :)

  30. Kate says:

We are in love with the Leaf Flourish Tea Rose. It fits in perfectly with our pale pink, yellow and ivory vintage-romanced theme wedding.

We have been together for nine years (since Senior year in high school!). We recently bought our first home and have absolutely nothing to stock it with! Our favorite store is Williams Sonoma. We LOVE the electric wine fridge they have. As of now, our "wine celler" is underneath our bed!

  31. Rachel Sullivan says:

I loved Royal Steamline. I love this site!!!!

  32. Cera says:

I just love the Toile Border in Aqua. It's quite close to what we are planning for the invites. When it comes to the registry, I don't think most people will be shopping from Williams-Sonoma for us as it's a bit of a drive for all of our attendees (between 1 and 2 hours minimum), so I guess I would have to pick the Chinois Bouillon Strainer. Most people we are inviting would probably think that it's a waste to buy a rather expensive strainer, but that's because they don't realize that my fiance has actually been wanting one even before he went to culinary school! And imagine how amazing the flour/powdered sugar would be after you sifted it through! Haha! Just kidding, it's all his.

  33. Kim says:

I love Spring Blossom but I really love so so many of the designs - what a great website!

I have been a hobby glassblower for a couple of years and while I was living in Pittsburgh I rented time at the Pittsburgh Glass Center, a wonderful place where amateurs like me can rent equipment and studio time to make glass. I handmade glass flowers for my bridesmaid's presents and bouquets. A few of them broke while transporting them to Los Angeles, where I live now and I have no where to blow glass to fix them! My fiance (lovely lovely generous Tom!) has told me that one day he would love to set up a glass studio for me complete with kiln and torch but as he is currently looking for work and we're planning a wedding, it's not in the cards right now. I'd LOVE to put an oxygen propane dual level torch or a kiln on our registry - but I know no one would ever get it - probably because they wouldn't know what it was?? It would especially be great to get it early so I could fix my flowers or make new ones to make my glass flower wedding visions come true! I'm not sure that anywhere you can buy a torch would actually have a registry but it's my true heart's desire!!

  34. Raluca says:

OMG what an exquisite display of vendors!! thanks, SMP!

as for Nearlyweds!, I looove the Wine Country (Cabernet) design. It is so love at first site :)

  35. Allie says:

    Supercuuuuute! I love it all!

For the registry... The boy has his eye of a top of the line TV...oi vey.

  36. Cathy says:

I love the Modern Whimsy Nutmeg!

  37. Cathy says:

I don't think that anyone will buy us the coffee maker we registered for. I think people will assume it's too overdone.

    13cls13@gmail.com

  38. Jamie says:

I love the Focus on the Couple design. It's just so fun looking, which is what we're definitely trying to achieve with the wedding- fun.

As for the registry item: I doubt anyone will buy us the bear repellent we registered for on Amazon. For my birthday last year, we went for a drive through the Shenandoah Mountains to check out camping sites for a future outdoor adventure. We stopped by the rangers office to get the rules and regulations and they told us bear repellent is required. We didn't even know it existed, nor did we think there were many bears in the Shenandoah Mountains. Needless to say, driving back from the rangers station, we stopped abruptly in the middle of road because there was a black bear and its cubs crossing. Definitely need the bear repellent for the camping excursions...

  39. EmilyL says:

I love the PINEAPPLE design by The Green Kangaroo. We are using pineapples in our Southern Spring Soiree wedding. Not so much the beachy idea...but more the southern hospitality idea. So i think this would make a fun wedding website for it.

We haven't put our official registry together yet. We got engaged during the big flood in Nashville, TN over a month ago so we've been doing lots of home repair and trying to dry out the basement. When we do register Josh REALLY wants an ORECK vaccum cleaner. I'm not sure who will buy it for us, but that's the one thing he really wants.

  40. We haven't put together our registry either, but you have some FAB advertisers. I had never heard of Hatch my House. Nearlyweds is the shiz, they have a ton of great designs! The fig by Royal Steamline and the Octopus Grunge by Offbeat Bride are my definite favorites.

  41. cheska says:

i love bicycle built for two! so cute!
the item on our registry which we don't expect to receive is an automatic coffee center!

  42. Stefanie says:

Love love love the Modern Toile! So wonderful and great!

  43. stellaluna says:

I stumbled across the nearlyweds last week and was thinking of choosing the Leaves + Vines design - we're planning a summer, eco-friendly wedding with a green color scheme, so this design works perfectly.

As for the most unusual gift: my fiance is arranging for people to give us carbon credits to off-set their travel to our wedding. We both have very conservative families, and I have a feeling they'll find this request highly unusual!

  44. Jennifer Lynn says:

I was way too excited to put together my registry!! I made mine on MyRegistry.com and it was fantastic!!!!! You can shop online from any store on the planet and add items to your registry...and I created a cash gift fund too (so my guests could have options). Really cool site...they also have e-nouncements for you to send out with your registry info. Def reccomend it if you are looking to start your registry :)

  45. Thelma says:

My fav is the Olivia By The Green Kangaroo. An item on our registry that I don't think we will get would be the pink kitchen Aide...i doubt if it will still be available.

  46. Michele says:

It's so hard to pick just one design! But I think my fav would have to be Face to Face Purple by Modern Girl Invitations. I just love how unique it looks!

I highly doubt we're going to get the TV we asked for but it was worth a try! :)

  47. Gia says:

The design that suits our needs the most is the Peacock Feathers By Invitation Consultants. Our venue is a Mansion in Ipswich, MA where the original owners loved Peacocks. They are shown throughout the estate (in the garden as statues, there are paintings, and other subtle hints about them). I am using this theme through a lot of my own planning. Luckily, peacock feathers are everywhere right now!

The registry item I'm not sure we'll receive is the 11" Mauvial Copper Fry Pan. (its a more expensive piece...but i am keeping fingers crossed that anyone who knows my passion for cooking will do me a little extra favor---or a couple friend's will pitch in for it!)

    Thanks for this opportunity!

  48. Katie says:

Seaside Elegance Wintergreen ... this would be PERFECTION for our CA coastal wedding :D

We are really, really, really dying for the OXO ® Pop Container Set from crate & barrel; sorta random, sorta pricey but we've got wishful thinking :D

    thank you, xoxo!

  49. lendy says:

Ohhh it's so hard to choose just one favorite design! While the Toile Border in red probably matches our wedding a bit better (an outdoor fall wedding), I am totally enamored with the Steamside one (the matching invitations are amazing!!!).

I really don't think anyone will get us any of the rock-climbing gear from RCI my fiancé would love to get. (Don't even get me started on how that stuff ended up on the registry in the first place! haha)

  50. Kristy says:

    I like the Glimmer.
As for wedding registry I would love to get our Plane tickets paid for our honey moon. :)

  51. sarahanne says:

I love "Focus on the Couple". We haven't registered quite yet but I'm ancy to find a way to include Sam the Cooking guy's DVD set (1 and 2) in our registry. (http://www.4sd.com/pages/sams_dvd_store ) My fiancé and I love to cook together! We watched of few of his national shows but we can't get a hold of the other episodes. Since his Mexican Bruchetta changed our lives (omg we eat it like every day!) we'd love to watch the rest but I doubt anyone will gift us a set of dvds no matter how awesome.

  52. Abigail Wooldridge says:

Oh my goodness! They're all soooo gorgeous, but the one that stands out to be is the scrollwork in black and white! We are both from Louisille Ky, and the fleur de lis is a symbol of the city - which is perfect because there are little fleur de lis at the top of the scrolls!!!! The one thing on our registry (which we couldn't really put on a traditional registry - you'll understand in just a moment) that there is like a zero chance of us getting is a bottle of the Woodford Reserve Master's Collection Seasoned Oak Finish bourbon. Since bourbon is a huge tradition in Kentucky, and we both LOVE bourbon (our idea of a great day trip is a visit to one of kentucky's distilleries followed a great meal), and this bourbon is pretty hard to find (it is only released one time, ever, and will never be produced again) and expensive when you do find it, this bourbon would be the perfect wedding gift - and a great thing to enjoy on a future anniversary!

  53. Christy R says:

I liked Circle Flourish (Teal). It had a a nice pattern that was balanced on the page letting the eye comfortably remain centered on the content.

A gift my fiance and I don't expect to receive is a "Picnic Time Turismo" backpack. It is perfect for when we want to take a hike, go to an amusement park or any other activity where we want to bring food. Yay!

  54. Laurel says:

I just got married at the Legare Waring house at Charlestowne Landing. It's so amazing and screams "grace and elegance." Whoever gets that deal, is a lucky girl!

  55. Debbie L says:

I love the para siempre by royal steamline design. It would go well with our spanish theme wedding!

  56. eva says:

Although I personally adore the Bicycle Built for Two design.. if I won I would give the prize to my best friend from high school, who will be married next year. I think she would prefer something like the Modern Calla design, which speaks to me as simple, elegant, and both modern and Art Deco, with its simple lines and color.

It was hard to choose, though!

  57. Judith LaFaver says:

I adore the bicycle built for two! And the one thing on my registry that i don't think anyone will buy a clock i registered for from etsy.

  58. Susan says:

There are too many cute ones! But I like Together Forever in Navy the best :)

  59. Tricia A says:

I think the Moontree Letterpress invitations are beautiful. An item I don't think someone will buy on my registry, is probably the Virgin trip to space I added as a joke on myregistry.com. lol

The problem with being able to add anything to one registry is that I will, in fact, add everything. They have an iPhone app which isn't helping either, :)

  60. Leah says:

I'm torn between the wheat design (both my fiance and I grew up on farms and he now teaches vocational agriculture) and dandelion dream in lime. They are both so cute and would go so well with our ideas!! My fiance told me last night he plans on registering us for a table saw. Since we'll be living in an apartment I don't know what we will DO with it if someone does get it for us. However, since he was in a fraternity i won't be THAT surprised if we end up with one! haha!

  61. Lauren says:

Oh my - Dandelion Dream in Tangerine is just incredible! We'd love to create a tasteful website to make it easier to get information to our guests, and this is just lovely!

As for registry items, the one thing people might not get for us is the vacuum we're both very excited about! Its quite pricey, and I don't think many people get excited about giving a vacuum, but we'd be more than excited for this!

  62. Maribel E says:

I love merry branch in deep purple. It is the wedding color we recently decided on. Love that there are so many design and color options
I love baking so there are a few novelty baking pans like a huge cupcake pan. People might find it unnecessary and might overlook it.

  63. Jackie H says:

I love the Pacific Spring design. It would match our invitations perfectly!

The one gift registry I know we won't get is the Le Creuset Oval Dutch Oven, 6 3/4-Qt., in flame. Le Creuset has beautiful color choices for their products. Too bad they are so expensive. Le sigh!

  64. kat says:

    anything with an embossed design

  65. Scott says:

Nearlyweds favorite design was Wedding Branch Bark!

I don't think we'll get the plane tickets to Europe :)

  66. sarah says:

ooo! love bicycle built for two :D
i registered for an awesome set of german knives at w&s...we'll see who really loves us! :)

  67. Normally, I wouldn't normally comment on a web site, but this information is exceptional. I have added this web site to my repertoire of favorites and also will be back again daily to check for brand new blogposts. I can’t wait to view what’s next.Thank you!Usually, I wouldn't remark on a website, but this information is outstanding. I have included this website to my repertoire of favorites and also will be back daily to check out for different discussions. I can’t wait to view what’s next.

  68. Really like this website, this really helps and very useful.

  69. Bobby Doil says:

have been visiting ur blog for three days. really enjoy your posts. by the way i'm conducting a report about this subject. do you know any other good websites or maybe online forums where I might get more information? many thanks.

  70. Joanna says:

My favorite design is Phantastique No. 1! It has the vintage feel my fiance and I are trying to give throughout our wedding!

The most ridiculous thing on our registry that my fiance FORCED me to list is a HUGE Flat Screen TV. I told him that no one is going to buy it for us, but he insisted he be able to choose ONE thing that was "more for him" since the kitchen, bath, and bed items were not exactly...ahem...his choice...:)
