Cultural Rehearsal Dinner by Beth Helmstetter

June 10th. 2010 by Abby Larson | Filed Under | 18 comments

This next rehearsal has me a little jealous and a little hungry. I’m particularly jealous of the gorgeous dress the bride is rocking, but also of the sweet and totally approachable style. Perfectly suited for a rehearsal dinner filled with close family and friends. Homemade Asian fare, flowers tucked in tea tins and perfect cans of Sofia champagne. Beyond. Designed by the fabulous Beth Helmstetter and photographed by the equally fabulous Steve Steinhardt, this rehearsal is total perfection. Click here to see even more.

The night before Liz and Chris’s wine country wedding, they had a traditional Vietnamese feast with their closest family and friends. The event was a true labor of love with the mother of the bride cooking all of the family’s favorite Vietnamese dishes. Flowers and decor were Asian inspired with the centerpieces being created in vintage tea tins and each guest receiving chopsticks in the color palette at their place setting. While the evening was all about family and celebration, Steve Steinhardt found a few minutes to take the couple out for some amazing portraits at the Figueroa Mountain Farmhouse, one of the most special locations in California.

That map is to die for! The details of this are really gorgeous...I never think about details like rehearsal dinners until I see one that makes me feel like if I don't have one just like that, my life will be incomplete. (not so dramatic, but you get it.) Steve did a great job with the photos and I love the idea of a sweet, small wedding with similar details! Thanks for sharing.
