Dessert Table by Eat Drink Pretty
Today is a great day on Style Me Pretty. Actually, every day is a great day on SMP but today is exceptional because it is all about the girly, the drool worthy, the down right gorgeous. And what better way to kick things off than with a pink infused dessert table? Designed by Jenna Marfori Lang of the fabulous blog Eat Drink Pretty, this little number is the creme de la creme of dessert feasts. Every girly base is covered and can we please discuss the blooms in apothecary jars…genius! We know it is only 9 am but it is never too early for cake and champagne in our book.

I designed this dessert table to celebrate Eat Drink Pretty’s blogiversary. The vision was to bring my blog to life by asking the question, “if Eat Drink Pretty was a dessert table, what would it look like?” The colors and overall style of the table were influenced by the blog design; lots of pinks and grays, a chandelier and rows of tasty pink treats. Many of the desserts were homemade and were inspired by the many recipes I have featured on my blog over the past year.

I love Eat Drink Pretty and I think they & Jenna did a great job on this dessert table. It rivals those of Amy Atlas. I especially love how they put the cake pops into mini jars - a great way to present them. And I love the customized cupcake toppers!

Beautiful - I'm wondering if Eat Drink Pretty wrote the flavor cards, too? The script (calligraphy?) is stunning also!
If the dessert table is an important design for your wedding, make sure to have your photographer take photos involving it. On my blog, I incorporated the rings with one of the cupcakes (the bride was a cupcake fiend!) and it turned out to be one of her favorite "details" picture.

This is SO beautiful. The photographer at my wedding was decent, but she didn't get shots like this. I kept my vintage Porcelain cake plate though, and I still use it for anniversaries -- my man loves cake! All my wedding pictures are on the desktop and I'm on my laptop. I know the whole Victorian thing isn't everyone's style, but if it is, lookintheattic has a lot of stuff to choose from. I've used them to buy gifts for my friends' weddings in the past few years, too. All of these pictures of cupcakes are making me hungry...
