Intimate Wedding by Silvana Di Franco

June 1st. 2010 by Abby Larson | Filed Under | 32 comments

I just about died and went to heaven when I saw this next wedding. It’s like my every anemone and ranuncula dream come true. Plus, the venue is blissfully intimate and cozy, the bride is stunning and don’t even get me started on her gown. And the photographs that Silvana Di Franco snapped…well, they are little works of art. From the sweet table arrangements to the perfectly perfect wedding cake, I am madly, hopelessly, crazy in love with this charming wedding just north of San Francisco. We had a short window to plan our wedding, so the list of friends and family who could join us in Inverness, California was relatively small. The upside to a smaller party was the option to hold the event in an intimate space. We chose Manka’s Boathouse a woodsy-chic property on Tomales Bay that already features unique and quirky architecture and decoration. Because the site has style built-in and space was limited, we choose to keep the flowers, linens, and wedding theme clean and minimal, so that it played off the space without overwhelming it. We love the way it came together, because the room felt elegant but still comfortable, and it was cozy enough to feel surrounded by family and friends.

Couples names: Angie and Adam, Founder and owner of Trazzler / Venue: Manka’s Boathouse, Inverness California / Flowers: Branch Floral Design – Lauren Godshall Owner / Cake: Fat Angel Bakery

When me and my wife been married it was a shiny day, it is very comfortable when your wedding is just for both of you and family. Not too expensive. And you have to remember wedding is for both of you not for friends.

Oh my word. The flowers. Those very plain tumblers housing the anemones and rannuculus on the ledge work sooo well. And that soft rainy light - gorgeous.

Silvana Di Franco is not only good photographer but also he's very artistic . I like the snap of the cake. I like his idea that put two dove toys on the cake. Bridal gowns for wedding is also beautiful. In all over I'll give four star out of five for this amazing snaps.
