May 27th. 2010 by Erin | Filed Under | 14 comments

If you are just now joining us, you are in for some MAJOR inspiration a la natural. We are serving it up Texas style with a big old side of rustic chic and a dash of bohemian beauty. The vendors behind this spiffy shoot are some of the best in Austin and we are lucky enough to get a peek into their creative genius. Headed up by Clink Events with insanely beautiful florals by Merveille and dreamy photography by Heather Curiel, we have ourselves an all out swoon worthy affair.

More details from the day:

The stationery suite – we incorporated a tree motif throughout coupled with French flourishes to give it an elegant feel. Lace was added to integrate a vintage vibe. The paper was ivory and soft blush and dark espresso was used for the ink color.

The floral design – A soft romantic mix of florals in ivory were placed in milk glass containers as well as found objects and wax luminaries. Cotton bowls were used as our country accent and have never looked so stylish. Antique crystal votives surround the centerpieces and prove that mixing containers is not only eclectic but gorgeous!

Tabletop – We chose a solid oak farm style table and benches for our seating to enhance the rustic ambiance. A simple beige and copper china pattern was complimented with hammered flatware and crackled glassware. Napkins in 4 different shades were an added detail that made the setting more intricate.
