Wait until you hear this! The gorgeous bride behind this next wedding is sporting a look from Anthropologie. No, their new wedding line hasn’t come out yet. This crafty bride actually made her wedding dress from Anthropologie shower curtains! I kid you not. I think she deserves a gold star for ingenuity and the rest of the wedding is pretty splendid as well. With photography by Marni Rothschild Pictures and design and styling by Ooh! Events, this little number is going down in the DIY record books. {click here for the FULL wedding gallery}

Steve and I wanted to create a cozy and fun evening for our guests, while keeping things simple and romantic. The oak trees, and the Cotton Dock’s water view and fireplace were what sold us on Boone Hall. Having s’mores by the fire was something Steve & I really wanted to have at the reception, and loved seeing all the kids (and even some grown ups!) enjoying them. I also love all things historic and vintage, so I was able to incorporate some elements into the design – vintage postcards of Boone Hall for the save-the-date; my collection of historic bottles, which Lisa created beautiful floral arrangements for; milk glass cake stands for the pie table; and a galvanized bucket of old fashioned sodas for guests to enjoy before the ceremony. Despite the the chilly temperature, it was such a heartwarming day!

    Great submit once again mate. I consider you’ve hit the nail within the head there. It doesn’t have got to be difficult yet mose individuals fail to realize the basics.

As an Anthropologie fan, I think she gets double honors for making it from a shower curtain and for getting the curtain from Anthropologie! Gorgeous design and beautiful fit too! Lovely wedding. Thanks for posting this.

    May I ask where you got the vintage postcards?? I'm getting married at Boone Hall next year and I found some at Barnes and Noble...wasn't too pleased with them. If you can point me in the right direction, you will be my BFF!!
