Oh I just LOVE (sorry for the caps, but it’s necessary) when I come across flawless wedding details only to find out they were executed by family members. Case and point, the lovely bride’s grandmother hand made all of the custom navy and white table runners and linens for this glorious wedding. Yes, hand made. I don’t lie. Throw in a fabulous gown, awesome groomsmen attire and lovely images from Betsy Blue Photography, and I present you a perfect wedding wrapped in a handmade linen bow (don’t you love how they did that on the place settings?)…xoxo – (the other) Abby from Life in the Super Burbs.

Lovely words from their talented photographer Betsy Tomasello of Betsy Blue Photography:
Kristine and Uriah have a once in a lifetime love and their romantic wedding displayed every ounce of it. Their spring backyard vision was classic and beautiful on the manicured lawns of The Muckenthaler Mansion. The late afternoon sun poured a golden light through the palms over their heartfelt ceremony and suspended globe lighting and intimate candles illuminated the joyful reception.
Kristine’s grandmother hand made all of the custom navy and white table runners/linens. The floral displays throughout the venue, from the Urban Gardener, were spring garden deliciousness and the entire event was beautifully catered and coordinated by Colette’s Events.
For her “Something Blue”, Kristine wore a very special sapphire ring on her right hand. It was designed by her father and given to her mother, just before he passed away. Kristine’s mother then gave it to Kristine on her wedding day…a very special moment and heirloom.
Kristine’s brother Peter, accompanied by friend Phil Neujahr on the guitar, played the ukulele and sang Oh It Is Love by Hello Goodbye during the ceremony while DJ Will An kept an amazing array of “get up out of your seat and dance” songs piped out during the reception. Kristine and Uriah ended the night sprinting for their decorated car through a barrage of beautiful sparklers and friendly shouts. Overall, an amazing show of love and genuine joy at their very beautiful SoCal wedding!
Kristine & Uriah’s personal thoughts on their special day:
“The feeling of having everyone you ever loved and everyone who ever loved you, at the same place and at the same time to share such an important moment, made for an amazing day. We love our friends and family and it would not have made for the awesome celebration it was, if they hadn’t been there.”

oh my gosh-- this is one of my favorite weddings I've seen on here (and I stalk SMP) hehe
I adore the table runners, and the color scheme is so preppy chic! Beautiful bridal dress, lovely linens, and seersucker blazers-- SWOON!
recognized that dress immediately! love that collar. but especially love those bow tie napkins!!
LOVE LOVE LOVE everything. Betsy is an incredible friend and photographer, and I love that her amazing photos are on SMP! :)
this wedding has incredible style! who was the event designer, or did the bride collect all this beauty on her own? excellent details Betsy!
Betsy I am wearing the nadine dress and would love to see more pics of you in it. It looks soo gorgeous. You are the first real bride I have seen wearing it. I hate it on the model on Amsale's website so I am thrilled to see how beautiful it looks on you. Can you send me some pics if you wouldnt mind. My email is falonfernandez@yahoo.com
Thanks
Falon
What a stunning event! I LOVE the bride's gown! What color is the groom's shirt and tie? And where are they from? I'm going for a similar look and wasn't sure if it would work, but you've given me hope we can pull it off!
I am so proud to say that my best friends wedding was SO amazing! Betsy is an amazing photographer which is evident in this post. She is so easy to work with and captures all of the perfect moments!!! Kristine had such fresh and different ideas that all pulled together to make for a gorgeous day!!! She was her OWN wedding planner! :) Gorgeous work Betsy!
i have to say the color combination is beautiful and especially the favors love them ive seen something similar at lifetimefavors.com its so practical but beautiful wedding
I LOVE this wedding and have been trying desperately to find the fabric used for the runners. Does anyone know the name of the designer/print????????? Thanks so much all!
Ahh, i'm so excited to see everyone's responses to the pictures. Betsy you are so amazingly talented and hard working (prego and all!!). The wedding went off without a hitch, thanks to some diligent planning and some wonderful vendors. I really wanted a wedding that was classic yet casual, traditional yet unique, and definitely something incredibly stylish :). I think Betsy did an incredible job of capturing it all, and as i reflect on the images, i am so happy with the way everything turned out. Sometimes as a bride you wish you could have a dress rehearsal with everything layed out, but since most of us can't afford that...we just hope and pray that all our ideas will mesh together as well as we had hoped.
To answer a few questions...I did not have a planner, I researched, collaborated, planned, and designed mostly by myself. My wonderful Husband was a HUGE and help and support along with a few close friends (Thx Chelsi) & family (thx Grandma). The grooms shirt was white, with a super nice golden/yellow tie and lapel (His whole outfit was from Nordstrom)...and boy was he handsome :). I do have to confess that i bought and returned ties/tie clips/ and cuff links 3 different times before i finally found something i was satisfied with. A girls gotta have a right to change her mind right?? Anyway i hope you all enjoy the pictures and if anyone is interested in hiring Betsy as a Photographer...DO IT! it is so worth it, and working with her is such a great and cheerful experience.
My mother is making me the exact same table runners for me wedding next month! Great minds think alike!
Absolutely stunning. I love when some details are unique to the personalities of the couple, like the pinstripe groomsmen jackets. And the dress, which some might find a little "frou-frou" is absolutely beautiful on the bride...work it girl!
I am in love with this wedding. I love navy! I think it is timeless. I dont know if the bride is reading this but I am getting married next May and have some questions for you. :) You can email me at jessicaepley@gmail.com if you have time.
The bow tie napkins are so cute!! And I adore the ruffles on the dress! Super cute!!
So fresh and so clean-clean! Just kidding, but really, such fresh and flirty details! Loving it.
I love all the navy and the beautiful custom table linens. The pictures look very fun, especially the bridal party ones :) Congratulations to Kristine and Uriah (and Kristine - you did an amazing job planning this all yourself - it came off amazing!)
How AMAZING are these pictures! I'm really thinking about changing my own theme to this one! I love the picture of the groom/groomsmen running!
To be a part of this wedding was an absolute joy and pleasure.Kristine and Uriah are so organized and
extremely grateful for any assistance. They are a blessing to all.
I have been searching for a wedding with seersucker suits so I could show my fiancee' that it's not tacky! Was the groom's suit navy? Love this wedding.
