San Juan Capistrano Engagement Session by Stephanie Ann
After the abundance of pretty details from today’s From Inspiration to Reality shoot, we thought we would wind things down a bit with a sweet engagement session sent to us by the fabulous Stephanie Ann. With hints of vintage and a gorgeous field, this e-session really captures the LOVE without being too over-styled or fussy. It’s simple, it’s sweet and it’s the perfect ending to a pretty day.

Ruby and Travis wanted a fresh, romantic and whimsical engagement session, so I took them to San Juan Capistrano to play around the gorgeous hillside. Luckily for us, this spring has given us lots of greenery. We brought along a green vintage trunk that was a flea market find as well as a gorgeous Murano glass lantern that was bought on a trip to Venice, Italy. I love bringing the indoors out. It really is such a simple way of creating a simple ambiance. Ruby really has a knack for details and was super excited when she found these fabric flowers in the window display at a local boutique. She asked if she can have them, and the store said “no problem” since they were getting ready to redo their display anyway . uh . score!!! Ruby also wanted to have fun with a little word play so she brought along Scrabble. Word of the day – L-O-V-E – of course!

Trav and Ruby are the absolute cutest!! They truly have the relationship that everyone aspries to, and it is evident in these photographs!! I'm so glad their love (and these engagement photos) are being exposed to the world!!! ;)

Ruby and Travis were amazing to work with and so much fun! I CANNOT wait for their wedding. Ruby has a knack for details and such a great fashion sense. So lovely!

Nice shots! and you two look great! But I think my favorite would be the pieces of cloth that look like flowers with the scrabble pieces. That's really cute.
