From Inspiration to Reality: The Design

May 25th. 2010 by Erin | Filed Under | 26 comments

Romance is the word of the day and it perfectly describes this latest From Inspiration to Reality Shoot. We go a little gaga for all things girly. Add to that vintage details and love letters and well, we go downright crazy. Headed up by MB Wedding Design and Events, this phenomenal team of vendors interpreted the inspiration board so elegantly and so spot on. With photography by Gertrude and Mabel and florals (can’t forget those pretties) by Asiel Design, we have ourselves an all out pretty parade and it is just getting started. Can’t wait for more of the good stuff? Head over to the gallery for the full spread.

From Michelle of MB Wedding Design and Events:

I chose the inspiration board Vintage Love Letters because I was inspired by the sweet, subtle romance that it evoked. When developing a design for this board, I definitely knew I wanted to create something dreamy, almost ethereal. I wanted to play off of the dusty rose color palette highlighted throughout the entire inspiration board, while implementing soft shades of ivory and cream, with accents of gold.

Linnae and Jon from Asiel Design graciously volunteered their warehouse space, which was a clean slate for us to create two different sets; a living room and a fanciful garden. In this garden there is a bride, who’s been yearning for the love of her fiancé, who’s currently away. As she spends her days writing love letters to her distant lover, sweet nothings are shared, and a passionate romance is brewing from afar.
