As a child William Sonoma was a staple name amongst the Griffith household. As my mother would insist on only William Sonoma labeled Christmas presents, our kitchen became a wonderland for cooking odds and ends. Essentially, after getting engaged on April 24, 2010, my fiance and I scurried off to the nearest William Sonoma to gather our own personal set of William Sonoma goodies. Being new at the home owner game (as we will aquire a new house in california this summer, and our first house ever) we were overwhelmed with all the wonderful choices. Since just graduating college and embarking on a new life and a new world together, we cannot expect our just graduated friends to buy us the finest of things. So, in hopes of taken the burden off our friends and family, we wish for this wonderful give away to bring us joy and memories as we build our first home ever, together.

Summer's here in SoCal, so the first thing my fiancee and I purchased for our new home is a grill! My favorite Williams-Sonoma item on my wedding gift registry is the Raynaud Cristobal Five Piece place setting in turquoise, which is beautifully made from translucent Limoges porcelain (and made in Limoges, France). Each piece passes through 30 pairs of hands from start to finish, a tradition of Raynaud & Co., which was established in 1849. I love it because it makes me nostalgic for so many important elements of family and friends that I've been fortunate to have been blessed with in my life. It reminds me of how privileged I am to potentially be able to own such an exquisite collection, and it reminds me to be humble; my mother, who I adore, didn't get to own something like this until much later on in life, as her family couldn't afford to bestow her such a gift on my parent's wedding day (and yes, they're still going strong!). It makes me think of having afternoon tea with my girlfriends, after my husband and I tie the knot. He means the world to me, but I also have a special bond with this women who have been on the journey with me throughout my single years and will remain with me during matrimony, motherhood and beyond. Finally, it reminds me of the first big trip that my fiancee and I took together - to France, to visit an Aunt in the Cognac region. To have a piece of French heritage in our home will mean the world to us both.

i've registered for the KitchenAid Artisan Stand Mixer because it has always been a dream of mine to own one. Also I love the Traditional Flour Sifter- just something about the old fashioned winding sifter reminds me of my grandmother and all of her baking.
i loooove williams-sonoma!! :) they are one of my go-to places when i have an hour to spare just to kill time because i am always mesmerized by the colors and their seasonal offerings! One thing that I really want are the whoopie-pie pans! they bring back soo many memories of childhood!

I LOVE it so much and I know I will use it for my lifetime and then some....they are an amazing thing to have for someone who loves to cook, you can make anything from french fries to a pot roast using the dutch oven, and recently I made pizza!!! I recommend a Le Cruset to all new couples, it's well worth it!

I am huge into the old, vintage, country theme (which is our wedding theme, but shh). Williams-Sonoma is just as adorable as a cute headband from etsy (or band.do, or lo boheme, and everyone else cute!).
One thing I can't help but melt over would be my dining room table. I am always having flowers, fruit, vases, candles...anything, you name it because it just makes the whole house come together and I get this warm, fuzzy feeling every time I see it (or think about it, for that matter). Let's face it. I'm not the best of cooks. I could use the help of some good gear so when my fiancee and I decided to have a registry, the first thing that i said to him was I want some nice pots. And this is most necessary since the very first time I cooked for him, I made a soup, that, well came out inedible. I love Williams-Sonoma's registry, and I am so so excited about our Apilco Hemstitch pattern dinnerware we registered for!
I am so in love with Williams-Sonoma cookware -- their stock is generally my go-to birthday/christmas present. It's also inspired many a conversation with my fiance and friends that begins with "If you love me, you'll tell me I actually DO need that [insert amazing cooking tool]" Trust me on the silicone rolling pin -- I'm a baker and it truly changed my life.
