It’s Monday! Which for you probably means another week of trying to work while you are really wanting to just read wedding blogs. But for us, means that we get to show you the most gorgeous affairs that have come across our desks, the most perfect details, the most lovely of lovely brides. Mondays are always really good days on SMP and we’re kicking it all off with this perfectly pretty affair that Turn Loose the Art sent our way. The flowers alone are going to make you cry, but add to that a KILLER dress, an off the charts adorable ring bearer and details that are beyond great..and it’s a recipe for perfection.

Jordyn and Dan planned a lovely little spring wedding overlooking the Hudson Valley in Garrison, NY. The Inn at the Garrison was a beautiful setting, surrounded by quaint stone arches and gazebos. Dan will tell you Jordyn did all the work, and Jordyn will say her mom did all the work, but her mom says it was all Jordyn’s vision.
The whole bridal party wore J Crew, with the guys in tan suits and yellow printed ties and the women wearing silver dresses and yellow heels. The yellow-silver-lavender color scheme suited the spring wedding perfectly, showing up in little touches like the escort tags and printed wine bottle labels by the Tie That Binds. Unique touches like table numbers of antique bells and mosaics mixed with different floral collections on each table tied together the reception.

Lovely! Although I must confess, Mondays for me mean a welcome return to work after spending time on the weekend plannng our upcoming wedding. Beautiful as the blogs are, and much as I look forward to our wedding day, I will enjoy reading about the planning and details of others' weddings so much more after the event! Am I the only one in this basket?
The muted greys in the attire really go well with the bursts of color in the details and floral decorations. I like how each layer of the cake is different!
HOW Pretty??!!! LOVE the colors and the feel of pure happiness with this wedding!! LOVE IT!
You aren't the only one, no. When I was planning my own wedding, I was STRESS central. I loved seeing how others put together their own big day, loved it. The details, the paper goods, the dresses, the FLOWERS. But for my own wedding, I wanted it to be so perfect that I stopped enjoying the process. The minute that I figured out that some how, some way, it would all come together...is the minute I started having fun.
Beautiful colors and floral arrangements! I love the groom in silver and the accent bow on the bride's dress. Congratulations to the happy couple :)
I look at StyleMePretty more now than I did when I was planning my wedding. Actually during the planning stage I often stopped myself from looking at wedding blogs, because I would second guess myself or feel pressure to do more. In the end, I absolutely loved our day, and like Abby said it all somehow came together. We had just the right amount of details for us...enough to make it special without driving myself crazy. Now, though, I love looking at what other people create and can't wait for the day when my younger sister gets married so I can plan her wedding!
I LOVE this wedding. It's very similar to what I am planning...I have to know where she got the bridesmaids' shoes and the wine bottle favors! Adorable!
I agree about the flowers and the dress. Stunning
I was so excited when I woke up this morning and saw our wedding on your site! I viewed style me pretty religiously when planning our wedding. I was so lucky to find AMAZING people to work with who truly saw my vision and worked their booties off to make our day the most unforgettable day of my life!
The Hudson Valley is such a gorgeous location for a wedding - I would have loved to get married there! Congratulations Jordyn and Dan!
It looks great on here! I'm so happy for Jordyn and Dan right now!
Jordyn! I love your wedding! I am planning for a yellow/slate/french blue themed wedding myself, so it was so great to see a similar palette of colors so beautifully displayed. Well done.
Where did you get the antique bells?? I LOVE those, and it would fit perfect with my french-inspired theme.
Thanks, and congratulations! You looked stunning!
Kate
What a gorgeous wedding! Her dress is stunning and the cake is beautiful. I love all the printed details and the floral designs. The tags, programs, menu and labels are lovely. They did a wonderful job bringing together the theme of their wedding. Great job Tie That Binds!
i love her dress! so much ruffly girly goodness.
The rustic flower arrangements and grass turf is a lovely combination—lovely!
Thanks Alexandria! Jordyn was a total dream to work with, and her and Dan are as sweet as can be. I am so impressed with how the vision of her wedding came together.
Love love this lovely wedding. So pretty and yet so fun at the same time! I don't often see both aspects in one wedding, and aspire for that in my own. I also love the mix and matched vintage details. I'm having fun collecting items as well!
Gorgeous wedding!
*sigh* That dress always makes me swoon. It's well outside of my budget but I tried it on while shopping anyway because it is just so gorgeous. I LOVED it. If I was getting married on the beach I would have definitely taken money from elsewhere to get it! (The wavy ruffles and circle details on the bust make me think of waves and shells on the beach.) As it is, it's way too much for our day. I still pine for it though. =)
I love those table numbers!
I love this wedding. The colors are fantastic.
I love love LOVE, the cake. Who made it? Is there a waffle-cone pattern on it? Would love to know more!
thank you jordyn for choosing me to do your flowers & details.
it was so much fun helping you make your vision into reality.
peace & love
always,
lee
beautiful wedding! love all the colors. :) I have the same jim hjelm dress, too!
Love the hairstyle. Nice twist one something traditional by adding the flowers. Are those silk flowers?
I LOVE those bells as table numbers too! Where are they from?
Who made the dress? It's so gorgeous!
I have been to and BEEN IN sooo many weddings and I can say without a doubt that this was the most beautiful wedding I have ever had the pleasure of being in. Not only was the bride totally amazeballs, her team truly was the BEST!!! So professional, so kind, I would highly recommend ANY and ALL of them to anyone who is looking for wedding professionals in the area!! But I don't know if anyone can top this truly GORGEOUS, super detailed, filled-with-love wedding!!! One extra special detail that's not in the pics are these to-die-for cookies from Devine Delights!! www.devinedelights.synthasite.com
Brittany and Joe, you are the most AMAZING photographers I HAVE EVER SEEN!!!! I guess it helps to have the most gorgeous subjects in Jordyn and Dan!!!
What a lovely wedding! I'm getting married this summer in Garrison, and I'm struggling to find a hairstylist for the day. Your hairstyle was so elegant - would you mind sharing who you used? Many, many thanks, from another Hudson Valley bride!
Such a beautiful blog post! It all has such a great feel to it! One of those you come across and could just get lost staring at!
Wow.. such a beautiful wedding. I love all the little touches like the bells with the table numbers and the personalized bottles. The colors of all the flowers were just wonderful.
