It really really is, i am absolutely green with envy...and doesn't even have anything to do with the green dress changes. seriously amazing stuff. i know that a lot of you are fairly floored by the budget being $10,000 but i have to say that the amazing venue (which was free for them!) and the amazing photography i think really add to the richness of how this wedding and the party come across....not to mention the fact that the couple are just absolutely radiating with love and light and warmth and youth and excitement. the whole thing just looks amazing. i know for a fact that when kestrin says that her friends helped contribute much of their creative talents and works, that it is something that definately happens like that. i lived in a really wonderfully artistic, anarchist, musical, magical little community in West Philadelphia and i know another couple like this who got married and for the whole year before the wedding, one of their best friends who makes stained glass, created about 10 large pieces just for them...which would have probably run $40-50,000 if someone had purchased them, and they would never have been available for rentals.....another friend of theirs, who is another artist, hand painted each of the invitations and did the calligraphy for free (as their wedding present!) and the vegan cafe that they went to all the time offered to do the catering for just the price of the food itself, no extra fees. it was beautiful, and amazing, and SOOO creative....a lot like this. they also had a small reception following the wedding with a lot of the family there (about 40 ppl) and then the next night they had a HUGE party for all their friends and neighbors, they had all their friends bands playing and they bought some kegs and Trade Joe wine and that's what everyone drank and they made it a pot-luck-dinner occasion. it was wonderful... so anyway, as i was trying to say, it seems really hard to believe that their ceremony and reception cost that little because it looks SOOOO amazing, but creativity, great lighting, great photography, and beautiful statuesque people can add instant wealth to any occasion... but i agree, that total cannot possibly include the dresses. maybe i'm wrong, but those are 3 REALLY great dresses and you just do not find dresses like that in the LA area for super cheap. i think this is my favorite wedding that i have ever seen, and i even love the back story to it. i love it when great love stories happen to great lovers... now i'm just waiting for it to happen to me!!!! good luck guys!!! and btw, this was some of the best photography that i have ever seen.in my life.
