But here’s where YOU come in.  To see the complete gallery of images ~ to find that one special touch that you’ve been looking for (on any of the LBB blog features) ~ you need only click on one of the images. from John and Theresa at Altura Studio …

What we love about Craig and Yohanna’s wedding was just how cozy and intimate it was to be on the top of Mt Hood. Silcox Hut is a gorgeous old WPA project high above Timberline Lodge in Oregon. The Timberline Lodge crew transports all the guests up the mountain in big, yellow snow cats, which are kind of like small school buses with tracks instead of wheels. Everything goes up in the snow cats: cakes, dresses, flowers. Sometimes that is the funniest part of the day. The Silcox Hut crew always has the fire blazing and everything cozy inside when guests arrive.

This particular day was snowy, blue and bright. The ceremony was simple and touching, officiated by Craig’s father. Yohanna’s family could not all make the international trip to attend, so Craig rigged up a two way video conference so at least all the loved ones could celebrate together in spirit. During the ceremony, two friends who are also professional musicians, performed an original song for the couple.
