Look, I love your blog, and this is a really nice idea....but in no world is it worth $450 to have someone make you a color board! That is completely insane, even in the world of wedding pricing. $100, maybe.

  2. Tom Sparks says:

Beautiful images. Love how the colors all work together.

I think the studio sounds like a good idea, especially business-wise. I am curious how it is different from a style board? I look at the blog Young House Love, and they offer a similar service, but you get a really good "plan" and it is very personal. Maybe showcasing Megan as an example would be a smart marketing idea.

Hey Guys! Yep, $450 is a lot of money, absolutely. This definitely isn't for every bride. This is a solution for the bride that doesn't have the ability to work directly with Michelle, though really values her incredibly unique and style savvy design approach.

We are definitely going to show the process with our winner so that you guys understand just how comprehensive and awesome this tool is. It is''t simply one inspiration board. It's three boards, each with specific instructions as to how to execute a particular vision. It's flower choices and linen choices, it's sourcing solutions and truly personal details dreamed up by a designer that is generally only available to the incredibly wealthy. Each board can represent each portion of your wedding...rehearsal, ceremony and reception. Or you can focus all of your energy on one. Your choice.

Jenny...totally understand your concern and it's definitely not for everyone! But our readers work with many different budgets and ultimately $450 is a great value for what you get with each package to many brides!
