Are you kidding!? This is beyond fantastic! How awesome! (I also loved that you said dilly dally)
How exciting!!! My favorite wedding design by Michelle (although hard to choose one) has to be NY Public Library. I am obsessed with candlelight, and the details of this wedding are gorgeous!! Thank you for this wonderful offer!
I LOVE the wedding in New Dehli! The colors are amazing!
What an amazing idea for both SMP and Michelle. Between this news and Vera designing more affordable gowns, I'm in wedding heaven! Thank you!
AWESOME idea! congrats :) i'm sure it will be a big hit! Good Luck!
YAY!!!!! How completely fabulous. Michelle Rago is AMAZING and so are you guys, so this is fantastic and very exciting news for the wedding world. CONGRATULATIONS! I can't wait to follow the incredible work to come.
holy moly! what a collaboration! ahh... if only i could get married again (to the same guy, of course) - wait... i can RENEW MY VOWS LOL --- fantastic service for today's brides... great news, abby!
Amazing opportunity for brides!! They really can´t miss this chance of working with Michelle Rago!! I can almost wish i was a bride right now :)
I absolutely LOVE this 'outdoor chic' wedding. The canoe rides are adorable! And the location, is it somewhere in the Pacific Northwest?
Oh and I love the Rockhouse Bahamas, since I am planning on a beach wedding myself, it's so nice to get ideas of how others make their beach visions happen!
Love New Delhi, India. Gorgeous colors and I can only imagine how much planning was involved! Congrats on your new partnership!
WOOT WOOT! I am so utterly and totally fricken excited...how much fun is this going to be!!! I can't wait to get started. Oh yes, and I would have to agree with a previous comment, I LOVE that you said Dilly Dally!
ADORE the Wall Street wedding. We're doing our best to plan a modern, elegant wedding that is still totally accessible and a reflection. At this point, I have so many ideas but the thought of tying them all together in a cohesive but not matchy-matchy way can be daunting.
They're all beautiful but I have a soft spot for the wedding at the New York Public Library. As a native New Yorker, I've seen the beauty of this place (and they do weddings... whaaa?) and since there's so much interesting detail about the space itself, it could become very easily over-designed. Instead, Michelle's design compliments all the details that make NYPL so wonderful, with the flowers, colors, just every friggin' thing. The design isn't similar to mine (totally different spaces, themes, all that jazz) but I'm just going gaga over this wedding. The one thing they have in common is being in urban locations and it's wonderful to see the diversity amongst her various New York locations and how they all bring a different side of New York city life to them.
I am so excited to hear about this new venture. This is so exciting. What an incredible resource?!
My favorite event that Michelle has featured on her website it the one from Cipriani on 42nd Street in New York. I am trying to throw a wedding with a modern, New York restaurant feel with Confetti as the theme. We have chosen an amazing small restaurant with exposed brick throughout the inside for our venue. I would love to have Michelle's vision for my event!
A dream come true, I would love to win this one!!! They are all so beautiful so I just have to pick two favorites...NY Public Library and Bonnet Island Estate. So many unique touches in both. Thank you thank you for this amazing offer.
I love Wauwinet, Nantucket. The nautical feel is exactly what we're are going for. They are all truly beautiful.
Vizcaya Museum & Gardens, FL is probably my fave, though the colours in the New Delhi wedding were phenomenal.
What a cool tool!
Fantastic idea, Michelle Rago's work is beautiful! I am also planning a wedding on the New England coast, so the images of her work for the Wauwinet Nantucket wedding are inspirational.
This is great! I would love to have Michelle help craft my vision. I am definitely at the point of needing to focus all of my ideas!
I like the New Delhi wedding. So colorful!
I love the lanterns over the dance floor and the reception room design in general in the Breakers Hotel FL/1 photos! I love the feathers and crystals in the bouquet in the Breakers Hotel, FL/2 photos.
NY Public Library - congrats on the great partnership!
my favorite is the Bellerive Country Club, MO. I love the use of color and flowers...all of them are so beautiful!
Michelle Rago's work is absolutely amazing. The Nantucket wedding is to-die-for! I just love all of the details!! It would totally be a dream come true to have Michelle's hand in my creating the details for my wedding!
I have been in love with Michelle's since before I even got engaged! (Sad, but true). This is so exciting!! My favorite wedding by Michelle was Harbour Island, Bahamas for a number of reasons. First of all, and most importantly, because I am getting married there in December. Like Michelle, I have a love affair with this place and decided long ago that it was my dream to get married there. I love the wedding she designed in HI because it is simple and allows the beauty of the island to shine through, while still displaying immense creativity. I love how she used native elements in her design and kept everything clean and natural. I have always dreamed of her designing a wedding for me here!
I agree about the candlelight -- unbeatable ambiance. My question is how do you do "candlelight" without having any actual flame (eh-hem fire danger) ... My own personal challenge. Any ideas?
As I sit here with my best friend Liz we are absolutely giddy over all of the gorgeous events Michelle has created. Though we had so many favorites, BONNET ISLAND ESTATE, NJ won our hearts!!! Michelle has done an exceptional job capturing each bride's special moments...our top three moments at Bonnet Island are: beautiful boutonnieres, candied apples, & place setting presentation!!! I am now even more excited for my June 11th wedding :D
...oops, got so excited I forgot to actually write down my favorite! My favorite is actually the featured wedding above, The Equinox...ah-may-zing!
I am in love with just about all of them but the Wall Street one is so over-the-top elegant and I love that huge feather centerpiece. Amazing!
I love the Nantucket wedding, it's all in the details!
Love the New York Public Library!
I am so inspired by the Breakers Hotel, FL/2 wedding! A white on white color scheme is just so dreamy...I'm swooning! It looks like there are some gold elements as well, which are just magnificently elegant. This is a visual feast for my eyes, since my colors are white on white and champagne. Thank you for yet another inspirational post! (Oh, and the chance to win and work with Michelle Rago is amazing, too!)
The Equinox, VT wedding is gorgeous! Simple, natural, perfect!
OMG so exciting!!
I love the Breakers Wedding in FL - Part 2!!! Great light details... so romantic!
She is a genius. This idea is genius. Definitely worth the money to have someone of her caliber help design the wedding of your dreams! I am planning my wedding for July of 2011 and can't wait to get inspiration from her! Thanks for posting this!
I love Michelle's designs, they are absolutely gorgeous. My favorite has to be the Vizcaya Museum and Gardens wedding, the flowers are so lush and I like that there is a loosely defined color scheme throughout. Also, the candlelight is precious and exactly what I want for my wedding. Great combination of indoors and outdoors, of chic comfort and some exotic elements. Beautiful!
Such dreamy weddings!! The one that resonates the most with me is at the Bonnet Island Estate -- elegant and earthy at once. Now I wonder if I can pull off a similar vibe at my NYC wedding next year...
I love the Vizcaya Museum and Gardens wedding. The wedding is SO elegant! Thank you for this opportunity!
Definitely the Equinox, VT wedding! Beautiful!
I heart the Wall Street, NY wedding! Feathers - LOVE... So many elements that I've been dreaming of incorporating into my own wedding. Totally over the top and oh so fantastic. Michelle's designs are exquisite...
The table centerpiece from the Rock House event is just perfect! Exactly what I am looking for. Definitely going straight into my "show to the florist" folder. And I love (as always) the grouping of the paper lanterns.
I immediately added the Bonnet Island Estate wedding to my bookmarks -- the details would be perfect for my fall wedding in November!! I love how Michelle used fruit and pinecones in the decorations and man, it's just gorgeous. It might be hard to emulate that look in Waco, TX, but I'm gonna try!
For the overall feeling and details of the wedding, I would have to say the Wall Street is my favorite. The feathers in the flowers pick up on the Vintage-Modern-Glam feel I am going for. And I absolutely love the large feather piece for the place card table! The elegance that all the white and silver add is perfect!
They are all so beautiful!! My two favorites would have to be The Vt wedding and also The St Regis in NY. The VT wedding reminded me so much of my home town in Upstate NY, also where I will be getting married. I loved her use of the ribbon and pinecones to really bring a unique idea and feel to the placecard arrangement. For the St Regis I loved the colors and her use of incorporating the berries into things. Something I am trying to do in my planning :)
I love love love the Bonnet Island Estate. Beautiful!
I swoon over the second Cipriana 42nd street wedding. It is modern, edgy, and is a wonderful blend of traditional versus modern. The orchids and dresses are AMAZING!
I absolutely love the New Delhi wedding!
My favorite Michelle Rago design is the Vizcaya Museum & Gardens wedding. My wedding is set for next August and our main priority was finding a venue that was like any other we had ever seen - from the moment we set our eyes on Galapagos Art Space in Brooklyn, we knew it was it! Michelle's design expertise would be the perfect gift to compliment our beautiful and unique venue.
xx fingers crossed to win xx
What a great collaboration! Adore the St. Regis wedding - tres chic!
Impossible to pick just one! Although the Equinox wedding is the style I dream of, the Nantucket wedding made me smile. It is the sweet little personal touches that make these weddings so special. Capturing it all is key. Priceless is the note from the bride to her groom..."Reminder, My dress is in here. Don't Go IN!" It is obvious that Michele is creative and talented and importantly she listens to her brides and makes each affair different and incredibly special.
I love the Equinox, VT wedding! It epitomizes the outdoorsy but sophisticated style that I want at my wedding. I particularly love the use of aspen bark and the daisies in the grass. So beautiful!
This is fabulous news that I needed today! The NY Public Library wedding is amazing, as is Michelle. What a wonderful collaboration....keep up the good work!
I adore the Bonnet Island wedding - it had such a warm feel! Fabulous new concept for SMP, congrats!
I love the private residence in NY wedding. Those colors are amazing! You can't beat pop rocks either! what a great surprise for guests.
What a wonderful colab! Looking forward to it! My favorite is the all white design of the breakers hotel FL
I love the wall street one! Mine is New York with a suburban twist... all white, romantic, calla lillies, whites, silvers, navy bridesmaid dresses, vera wang gown, manolo heels, :)
The two 'Cipriani 42nd St, NY' weddings are absolutely incredible. They are both extravagant to the max with looks that drew from two entirely different inspirations. The first has an ethereal vibe, with an abundance of flutters of soft flowers everywhere. The second is vividly dramatic with deep tones of red and walls seemingly encrusted with gold leaves. So decadent. So ah-mazing.
The Nantucket wedding has the most unique interpretation of Nantucket and nautical style I've ever seen. From the octo door hangers, to the fish placecards to the whale cake, this is not your typical pretty blue wedding. Michelle's style is absolutely refreshing!
My favorite is definitely the Bonnet Island Estate! The candy apples, the beautiful barn, the stone fireplace... I seriousy started swooning. Then I saw the invitations with the leather and wood details and my jaw dropped to the floor and I nearly tossed my Taco Bell on my keyboard! How awesome is that wedding?!!!
I love Harbour Island, Bahamas. Vibrant colors, simple presentation- a celebration of culture and scenary. The flowers are beautiful.
My favorite has to be the Equinox Vt wedding!!! i love daisies and I was already thinking of incorporating them on my own wedding!!!
Love love bellerive country club, this is my style and fav color!
It seems nearly impossible to pick which is a favorite when each wedding is so spectacular in it's own way. Since I am trying to achieve the beach chic theme for my June 2011 wedding in Newport I have to say that the two Bahama weddings were my favorite. They show that simple elegance can be just as stunning as the wedding with a $500K budget. I love the touches of the sea urchin shells, beach glass, sand and bright purple bouquet in the Harbor Island wedding and the seahorses and white vases in the Rock House wedding was stunning! This is such an exciting new project - cant wait to read more about it!
Definitely the woody Vermont wedding is my favorite - rustic but elegant. Love her designs!
FANTASTIC offer! Thanks so much!! Can't wait to use it!
As for Michelle's sample weddings/ideas on her site- I love the NY Public Library wedding. All those candles & the natural elements... so lovely. Just the warm & rustic yet elegant feeling I'm hoping we can build into our wedding.
My favorite if I had to choose just one would be The Equinox It so much like the style my Fiance and a I both love.
I adore the Vizcaya Museum and Gardens in Florida wedding! It reminds me of my fiance who grew up Miami :) He's being kind enough to let me get married in my home state of Indiana in the middle of winter, so I would love to figure out how to incorporate some Miami details into the wedding for him!
Rock House Bahama rocks! Love the colors and use of shells.
I absolutely ADORE the Nantucket wedding. Every detail is perfect, the lighting and colors are gorgeous...ah, I am envious!!! Everything was so rustic and warm while at the same time being timelessly elegant.
Wow! They are all so unbelievably gorg. Michelle is amazing. I love the Bellerive Country Club for its elegant girliness. Plus, I'm a sucker for the vintage car getaway.
Vizcaya Museum & Gardens is a beautiful event. Our wedding is at a historic mansion with gardens, so it will have a similar style.
they are all so beautiful! I love them all! my favorite has to be the Vizcaya Museum an Gardens in FL though! Beautiful colors, amazing details, and a beautiful venue. All of it is simply perfect.
These are all stunning, but if I had to choose I'd pick the Equinox wedding. It's simple but completely classic. I love it! Such great inspiration. Thank you!
Thank you so much for this offer! I love the Bonnet Island wedding. It's nature at its prettiest, and exactly what I aspire to with my own fall outdoor/log cabin wedding! I love how the details really tie the event to its place: candy apples, the horse on the invitation, and the incredible warmth and richness of the flowers. I feel like I'm seeing those natural elements in a brand new light - the wood of the barn, the shiny cherries - nature at it's best!
Congratulations!! What a wonderful idea. Hats off to a fabulous partnership!
LOVE the seating arrangement for the New Dehli wedding!!! SWOON!
I love Breakers Hotel 2 Event. It is romance, elegance and luxury all wrapped into one!
Really like the Harbour Island Bahamas....but they all look so nice!
I am biased because I love Libraries but the candle light at the NY Public Library wedding... AMAZING! Although, our wedding is in an old barn I woul love the sophistication oodles of candle light and victorian touches!! Thanks SO much for this opportunity :)
Nantucket for sure.. so pretty and relaxed!
OH! I thiiiiiiiiiink my favorite is the Equinox, VT wedding, but I also heart the lace-up invite from the Bonnet Island wedding!
What a wonderful opportunity! All of Michelle's weddings are just gorgeous, but my favorite is the Vizcaya Museum and Gardens wedding. I love the colors and the flowers are to die for, the venue looks stunning!
I must say that my absolute favorites are the Cipriani 42 St, NY Wedding and the Private Residence, NY Wedding. I have been hunting for creative yet inexpensive event lighting everywhere but its soooo expensive everywhere. The lighting in these 2 weddings show what a stunning touch and ambiance event lighting can bring to a place. These 2 look absolutely magical. What a great feeling!!
This is amazing!!! My favorite is Wauwinet, Nantucket. I love how it is relaxed and elegant at the same time.
The colors, the whales, the sign done in crayons .... the wedding at the Wauwinet in Nantucket was awe-inspiring and made me want to sign up for Michelle's services ASAP! I laughed, I sighed (at the incredible colors used), I didn't cry .... but the pictures spoke of raw talent, classy elegance and embodied what a wedding should ALWAYS be ... beautiful, fun and long lasting memories!
LOVE Wauwinet, Nantucket!!!!
All of her designs are so gorgeous! Congrats on a fabulous partnership!! I now have a new wedding site to add to my daily favorites!
This is great! So cool.
I really love the Harbour Island, Bahamas wedding. It so classy, understated, and beautiful. What a naturally beautiful venue with such sweet styling. Thanks for this opportunity!
The Bonnet Island Estate wedding stole my heart!
I've heard of Michelle Rago's work and name and am glad to be formally introduced to her book and website...While they are all breathtaking, the St. Regis Hotel wedding is my pick because it teaches me that simple, elegant touches can personalize and give a home-y feeling to what is by nature an impersonal (yet obviously attractive) space - a hotel. I'm struggling with how to create a festive, intimate mood in afternoon light and a banquet hall atmosphere. I have tented, outdoor space, pretty views, a gorgeous dark wood bar, and expansive ballroom and windows to work with, but it's not immediately evident how to transform it into our own. I'm definitely going to try my hand at an inspiration board/the Michelle Rago & SMP process. We're getting married in CT and I'd love some professional, stylish help!
Absolutely stunnig! All of it! I love the canoe ride idea! ahhh! :D
OMG. This wedding just portrays everything I want! Something comfy and homey, but sweet and beautiful all at the same time . *sigh* I must have a barn in or around my wedding. :D
What a great idea!!! I'm sure it will be a total hit :)
The Bride on Cipriani 42nd street, strutted like she knew a big secret: "My wedding rocks almost as much as my fiance!" The venue decor matched her style but did not cast a shadow on her. It made me want to be on her guest list. Divine.
What a wonderful offer! All these weddings are beautiful but I absolutely love the Equinox wedding. There is such a simple charm and yet a quiet elegance to it that I would love to incorporate into my wedding. Michelle's creativity and use of color is very inspiring and would be very helpful in planning an outdoor, fall wedding in a historic barn. Congrats on a successful partnership!
That's great ! At least there is an opportunity from France to access the magic and gorgeousness of an US wedding. Even though Paris is one of the most glamourous city we are far far away in wedding organisation !
One of my favourite wedding is the one in Rock House, Bahamas.
Thank you for your so inpiring blog.
Wow - So amazing! Delhi is by far my favorite. Such great colors!
Love the Equinox wedding. My fiance and I love to canoe, and anything outdoorsy is right up our alley! Part of my "inspiration board" incorporates canoes too! It is perfect!
I love the New Delhi wedding! The decor for the ceremony is amazing and I'm sure the guests were comfortable sitting on those cushioned benches (great idea!). The colors are amazing which really adds to the festive tone of the wedding. The crystal orchid centerpieces are absolutely breath taking! I also love that the couple's culture was incorporated into the wedding, but with a modern twist.
HOW EXCITING! Michelle is so very talented! My favorite wedding by far was her Breakers Hotel in Florida. The reception light installation is magnificent and so inspiring for my own wedding lighting!
Yay!! I am so so excited about this new tool. I can't wait to try it out. :)
The Equinox wedding is my favorite Michelle Rago wedding. It is simple but breathtakingly beautiful - exactly what I want my own wedding to be.
I just love the Equinox. We are getting married in Maine, and I love the way all of the details work with the natural setting.
Wow, what eye candy! My favorite would have to be the Bonnet Island Estate in NJ. It has such a classic, understated elegance. Plus, it really evokes the feeling of fall, my favorite season.
My favorite wedding design by Michelle is the Vizcaya Museum & Gardens. The exquisite details made the wedding look like a magical dreamscape. The candid photographs really seemed to capture the love and laughter in the air.
WOOT WOOT! Love the Harbour Island!
My favorite is the Breakers Hotel in Florida. The lighting is amazing - it is captured beautifully in all the photos. And the best is you know the guests enjoyed themselves from the ending photo of the bride taking off her shoes :) (btw where did that bride get her dress its so adorable!!)
Love the Bonnet Island Estate wedding! Such great details and design!
OMG, Abby! You are killing me slowly..... why oh why wasnt this done 2 years back. I love her, LOVE and the entire design and the boards...and the new image...Abby, oh Abby, I have to go get a tissue :)
*Congrats on the ever expanding enterprise, it has become an unbelievable site!
I'm a huge fan of Michelle's work...AMAZING! One of my favorite weddings on her site is the chic Wall Street wedding. So sophisticated!
I love the Harbour Island, Bahamas wedding! My wedding will be in Tofino, British Columbia Canada, a very small surfing town. I love the peonies and the seashell seating card display!
I am smitten over today's recent post. What a perfect fit for SMP! I can't wait to make one of these....
Ok, now for the contest. Do you I really have to pick JUST ONE? Wow, this is one talented lady.
My number 1 favourite is EQUINOX. So flawless and calm. I fall hard for anything near the water, but this one really draws me in because it is truly charming and unique. The truth is there is SO MUCH to choose from out there. Too many great, amazing, inspirational ideas is not necessarily helpful. While I plan my own lakeside wedding, I want to scale back but leave no detail untouched. Gorgeous and tasteful but understated. I think the Equinox wedding does just that. It looks effortless, but off course, that is the hardest to pull off. It looks very relaxed as well which I like. I am sure this decor really suits the couple which is the very best part right? Sigh.. I want to be in Equinox right now. Where is Equinox anyways : )
Choices, Choices! So many beautiful weddings... Perhaps my favorite is the Harbour Island, Bahamas wedding. I have always loved Michelle's style, and think it's pretty amazing that a wedding in the Bahamas could be so inspiring for my wedding in the middle of Vermont! The details here let the natural beauty of the island (and island culture) shine through. Thats something that any bride would hope to accomplish at her own wedding. The contrast between the simple flowers and linens on the dinner tables and the ornate painting in the background is out of this world. Amazing, thanks for this chance!
What an amazing collaboration! Michelle's work is all incredible, but I'm a sucker for the East Coast nautical vibe of her Nantucket event. She really gave a traditional theme it's character and style. Love it.
That is such a AWESOME idea!!
Okay, these are all FANTASTIC!!! And what a amazing thing to give away to one lucky bride! My favorite has to be the Bonnet Island Estate. A-MAZ-ING!
The Wauwinet, Nantucket design is by far my favorite! I love all of the nautical details that are incorporated throughout the wedding. The Harbour Island, Bahamas wedding is also another fave of mine! Michelle does Beautiful work!
I love the wedding at Vizcaya Museum and Gardens in FL. Its stunning! I love that its formal but fun :).
My favorite Michelle Rago wedding is the one that took place in the New York Public Library. I love how the candlelight makes the room glow, and how the flowers add just enough color, but do not overwhelm the space. Michelle's use of glass containers in different sizes and shapes to hold the candles adds so much visual appeal and glamour. Also, I'm drawn to wedding reception sites that have natural or inherent beauty, and do not need to be "transformed", and it looks like Michelle made a great use of this venue.
What a wonderful idea. I love both of the Cipriani 42 st weddings, especially the 2nd one! I just love the lush of the red and pink with the golden glow,--balanced by the soft white, green and orchids. love it! *crossing my fingers*
I love Michelle's VT wedding. I am planning a Colorado wedding and some of the wedding elements in the VT wedding are amazing inspiration!
I love the VT wedding! Wow! I love all the natural elements.
I love the Bonnet Island wedding and want to utilize beautiful fruit and rustic design in my own November wedding. Wonderful!!
Sooo hard to choose a favorite wedding, as they are all amazing!! If forced to do so though, I have to go with the first wedding at the Breakers Hotel in Florida---all the disco balls hanging from the ceiling are to die for!
What a great idea! I loved the New York Public Library. All the candles were so amazing, I will be trying to have a similar effect at my own wedding!
I love the Wall Street, NY wedding. The table decorations with the white roses, mirrors, and blue candles floating in silver candelabras is fantastic!
Absolutely amazing!! My favorite wedding has to be the Nantucket event. I can't get over the amazing details with the New England charm and nautical inspiration. Hard to choose though, since they are all beautiful!
What a great idea! It's no surprise since you always provide the best and most creative tools and inspiration for brides everywhere. I explored all of the wedding of Michelle Rago's beautiful website, and my favorite is definitely the Equinox, VT one. Its style somehow manages to combine all three of my key inspiration words for my wedding: classic, modern, and rustic. Plus, the venue reminds me of mine. We'll be getting married at the same resort where the movie, Dirty Dancing was filmed.
The Rockhouse, Bahamas is gorgeous! My wedding will be in Monterey and the it matches my theme! I love the hanging lanterns and white and blue theme! Very simple but elegant!
Don't tell my boss but reviewing Michelle's site was the most productive hour that I've ever spent wasting time at work. I got so many ideas for my September wedding! Although it was hard to pick just one, I have to say that the Harbour Island wedding in the Bahamas is my favorite. I remember when you featured it on SMP and I thought I had died and gone to heaven when I saw those gorgeous coral poppies set against the natural colored linens. Breathtaking!
I love the elegance of the one at the St Regis in NYC! I also love the Nantucket one ...
What amazing inspiration- I love everything she does. I think my favorite would have to be Bonnet Island Estate- the colors and the feeling are just perfect and exactly what I would LOVE for my own wedding!
The Equinox, VT is absolutely stunning. A setting to immerse yourself in, whilst allowing for the stunning surrounds to overwhelm as well. Every little detail is perfect - and something which we all strive for on our big day. What an incredible prize, to work with someone who inspires SMP brides all year round!
I love the Equinox, VT wedding,
My favorite by far was the New Dehli wedding. I clicked expecting a profusion of colors and instead got something totally unexpected--crisp whites and monochromatic colors that were a perfect juxtaposition to the coloful outfits the guests and bride wore. I love seeing a wedding that defies your expectations and challenges what you imagined in your head as being "that" kind of wedding. It truly shows that a wedding transcends a time or a place and is all about the bride and groom's vision and style. Completely sublime.
I love the Breakers Httel#2, but....my daughter would pick something else. Which is the problem.
She is the one getting marrried and I am the one with the time to plan and put together her ideas. Alas, she is a full time student and a full time employee. She has had a really hard time getting a grasp on the overall look she wants for her September wedding. So here's to hoping to win this amazing deal so the best of the best can help her make so many decisions that all flow together for one spectacular celebration.
What a great idea, finally something for people not living in the US :) My favorite is the Wall Street wedding!
The Wall Street wedding is unbeatable in my book. I am always looking for ballroom inspiration...
Bonnet Island Estate, NJ, is hands down my favorite. My fiance and I had planned a big destination wedding this September - church, ballroom, open bar, the whole thing - for 140 guests, and we recently scrapped those plans altogether in favor of an intimate affair for 30 people at a 1925 plantation home in Scott, Arkansas, twenty miles from our home. We are now getting married in October. We have scaled way back, and I would *love* Michelle's advice on how to start over in terms of wedding planning... thanks for the chance to win!
I LOVED CIPRIANI 42nd Street's wedding! I espeically loved all the flowers choices!
I love the Equinox, VT wedding design. The natural beauty, fresh colors, birch and daisy designs are so familiar, yet sophisticated. Amazing. An eco-friendly wedding at its best! Great work!
I love Vizcaya wedding! What a dream!
All of her weddings were beautiful, but I loved the simplicity of the Equinox wedding in Vermont. It truly drew on what you would find in the natural surroundings and accentuated that to make it even more special. All so very gorgeous!
My favorite is Bonnet Island Estate, NJ. I love the somewhat rustic feel.
I love the Equinox Vermont wedding! So gorgeous and low-key, and it is similar to what we are thinking of doing.
I LOVE that you feature rustic, elegant weddings! I've never been to one, but I am trying to pull one off myself. It's been hard for our 'city families' to conceptualize my vision. I love seeing some of these ideas come to life through these pictures, and of course, get MANY MANY more ideas than I could image! Thanks! LOVE IT!
The New York Public Library wedding is incredible... As a lifelong reader, I adore any library, but historic ones like New York or Boston just give me goosebumps... being able to get married in one must have been such a dream for that couple! Our wedding is in a historic carriage house and gardens outside boston, and while the venue is totally different I would love to be able to take advantage of Michelle's eye. Details are my thing, but pulling them all together is another thing entirely!
I love the New York Public Library wedding! Its such a special treat for guests to attend a wedding in a venue that's unexpected! Museums, libraries and galleries offer such beautiful spaces for a unique and memorable wedding. Michelle has definitely showcased the best of this venue with her amazing style. Can't wait for my museum wedding in June 2011!
What a wonderful giveaway! I love the design at the Equinox in VT. Wonderful work :) Crossing my fingers!
My favorite is the Bellerive Country Club in MO. I loved the placed settings and the flowers!
Wow this is hard to pick. I have to go with Nantucket. The details of what I'm assuming is the rehearsal dinner is classic New England without being over the top preppy. I love all the cute details. Then the wedding is gorgeous, gorgeous flowers and romance. It all blends so perfectly. Love it Michelle!
I love the cherry blossom wedding, although it is much more extravagant looking than the cherry blossom wedding I am planning for next April. Hers was all about creating a cherry orchard. I want mine to be more about using the blossom to create a swanky and interesting atmosphere. I'd love the chance to get Michelle's ideas on how to tie my ideas together!
Those weddings are both beautiful and unbelievable!!! I think my personal fave would have to be the nautical elegance of Nantucket! :)
I loved the Bonnett Island Estate in New Jersey! So rustic, simple and elegant! Just what we want for our wedding!
I'm getting married one month from tomorrow and the Style Studio is exactly the missing link we have been looking for!!!!!! It's so hard to blend all things fabulous into one event, one day... six hours! Michelle is the pro for a reason- she makes it look effortless!! We have so many great ideas and vendors (Studio Foto included :) ) but we need an overall design plan to pull it all together! IS IT TOO LATE?!?!
Wow, amazing! The Bonney Island Estate is stunning. Everything is stunning, actually.
The Equinox Vermont - love the outdoor accents incorporated into the design!
Michelle Rago are you kidding? Its so awesome to see the brilliant minds of the wedding world working together for the benefit of any bride out there, not just girls in the major cities. Thank you!
A tough decision as far as my favorite of her wedding designs goes. If I had to choose one that feels most like what I personally am envisioning for my wedding, it would have to be the Equinox Vermont. I ADORE the sense of nature in all the details. Superb!
Love the NY Public Library! The use of candlelight against all the marble is really beautiful!
It is such a difficult decision to pick just ONE favorite but if I had to choose it would be the New York public library, it is just AMAZINGLY BEAUTIFUL!
I loved both the Rock House and NY Public Library, but my favorite is the Vizcaya Museum because it incorporates the colors and flowers I have been focusing on! So much fun to look through these pictures and incredible decor!
I love the New Delhi one!
The white seating area is amazing!
The Rock House, Bahamas wedding is so beautiful yet relaxed. I want my Florida wedding to look just like it! Love it!
Wow, I am in love with every single wedding! What a talented lady, indeed. Since I have to pick just one, I think my favorite is the Rock House, Bahamas wedding. Every detail is magnificent!! I can't stop looking at these pictures!
Thank you for this amazing giveaway, SMP never ever disappoints!!
I absolutely adore the Equinox, VT wedding. It celebrates the natural beauty of the setting and is elegant without being showy. I love the canoe rides for guests! And the LIVE center pieces-- grass and daisies. The whole wedding is stunning while at the same time being understated. I think its a real testament to Michelle's talent for design that she can both do bold weddings (like NY Public Library) and weddings like this one where she does so many subtle detailed things to bring out the beauty of the natural setting.
awesome idea! love michelle's creativity
The Vizcaya Museum & Gardens, FL.
I love how it has a mix of classic and modern elegance. Exactly the elements I would want to incorporate in my wedding.
The Vizcaya wedding is my favorite! One of my best friends was married there about 5 years ago. I love the venue and Michelle's work only makes it look that much more amazing! Unfortunately, I live in Jacksonville not Miami so I can't have my own wedding there.
what an amazing giveaway. i would just die to have help designing my wedding. the wall street, ny wedding is exactly the look i am going for...even the description "modern elegance" is how i've been describing my look to friends and family! thank you so much for giving us yet another wonderful opportunity!
I love the Equinox wedding!
My very favorite is the wedding at the NY Public Library! If I could have my dream wedding, this is what it would be. *sigh*
My favorite is Breakers, FL/2. I love the white on white theme, it's so magical!
My favorite is actually the one that is above, The Equinox Vermont wedding! I absolutely love the details and simply chic feeling this wedding evokes.
This is so exciting!! I'm in desperate need of some inspiration for my upcoming wedding, and it would be a dream come true to work with such a talented designer. My favorite wedding is definitely Harbour Island, Bahamas. So sweet, simple and unpretentious, yet totally elegant. Gorgeous!
Awesome! Michelle's designs are absolutely gorgeous! All the details fit together so nicely and cohesively!
Oh how to pick a favorite!! I love the Nantucket feel and the NY Public Library one as well!
I love the equinox, vermont...beautiful style, beautiful environment and natural. Thanks for the offer!
It's hard to choose, but I particularly love Cipriani 42nd Street, NY, the New York Public Library, and Breakers Hotel, FL/2. They are all beautiful!!
Fabulous!! They are all so amazing and unique. All the details!! How COOL are the pop rocks and pink flamingos in the Private Residence, NY wedding?! Transport those fun, off-beat details into the natural scenery of the Bonnet Island Estate, NJ wedding, and I'm in H*E*A*V*E*N!! Awesome idea SMP, I'm not dallying!!!
Michelle's work is amazing. It would be a dream come true to have her design assistance on our wedding! My fiancee and I are both graduate students, so her help would be much appreciated. We met in college 10 years ago and are tying the knot at our alma mater's college chapel. We need design help, I have way too many pictures saved on my computer and can't pinpoint a design theme.
I love the Wauwinet Nantucket wedding because it incorporates 4 factors that I want in my design:
1. Vintage Feel. Our college is one of the oldest in MA and I want that reflected in our wedding theme. I love the vintage postcards and all the graphics that are simple and envoke feelings of a bygone era. The tablecloth pattern and the china patterns are to die for. Just stunning.
2. Organic. From the napkins to the fish designs to the simple flowers, everything seems put together for an intimate gathering. It also seems unique and inviting to a close gathering of friends and family. I love the bride's keep out sign to her FH regarding her dress. Everything is one of a kind, including the oval reflective dance floor, I love how it reflects the pinks of the beautiful flowers.
3. Light. I love all the light and how the design was kept very bright in the traditional New England church with white pews (just like ours!); the altar pieces were perfect to compliment the church and light airy feeling ...I also like how the reception design added warmth with light pinks...and what seems like stronger uplighting in pink for the end of the reception. I love how the light seems to transition with the event timeline. Perfect!
4. Playful. I'm a kid at heart and the whale cake had me at hello. All the other animals included throughout the wedding are absolutely adorable, especially the wooden sign on top of the white adirondack chair.
I'm an earthy, simple-pleasures type of person, so the Bonnet Island Estate, NJ wedding's style is right up my alley! I love the use of fruits, the gorgeous, lush, low centerpieces...and I really love rocks, so the shot of the mantle is awesome, in my opinion!
All of these weddings are exquisite! The one in India is beyond stunning and elegant!!! I can't even imagine!
I simply love the gorgeous authenticity of the Bonnet Island Estate wedding. Above all else, I believe a wedding should feel authentic...
Oh, I simply love her design at the Vizcaya Museum & Gardens! The flowers, the table scapes - sigh. So GORGEOUS!
I am drawn to the wedding at Cipriani 42nd Street in New York with all of the bold, bright reds...that is the color palette I have been thinking about and could use some help! I love the drama that it evokes!
Beautiful weddings! So talented:)
I love the Equinox wedding but the Bonnet island estate comes in at a close second, they are all fabulous.
Rock House, Bahamas!! beautiful. I love all the pictures and inspiration. Gorgeous!
Love, love, love all the rustic details from the two weddings featured above (Vermont and new Jersey). I'm loving the idea of the Style Studio!!
I love the NY Public Library one. So elegant!
Definitely the Equinox wedding, I love the pinecones, the trees, and the unpretentious look.
Do I really have to choose just one? They are ALL so beautiful and unique! Okay, my favorite of the moment is the Vizcaya Museum and Gardens, FL. The venue, the colors, the styling are all breathtaking! Gorgeous!
I absolutely LOVE the Bonnet Island Estate wedding in New Jersey. Absolute perfection in my book :)
I love the Harbour Island wedding in the Bahamas. So tropical and serene - beautiful!
Everything on her site is simply swell! I love the Equinox Vermont wedding. We have a quaint pond by our ceremony and reception site; the canoe idea would be so fun to do. Everything was so simple and lovely!
Wow! What an amazing idea and fabulous give away! My favorite wedding is by far 'The Equinox, VT'! I'm a very earthy, natural kinda gal & I loved the perfect details that helped to emphasize the natural beauty of the location. That's what I'm hoping to do with my own wedding/venue and would love the assistance of a Style Studio package! Thanks!
Beautiful! My favorite is the Wall Street wedding. I love the modern feel of it!
New York Library would be my # 1 pick. Our venue is a historic building in Rhode Island so I tend towards old school glam. AND thank you SMP - the ideas are always incredible!!
Oh my goodness! The Equinox in Vermont! It's where we're hoping to get married (we're paying for the wedding ourselves so it may be a pipe dream) and I've never seen it look so lovely! Michelle truly has a way with highlighting the natural beauty of a location. I'd DIE for the opportunity to work with her!
LOVE it!
Oh me....oh my....oh dear. Sigh. Glorious, glorious, sigh. I am head over heels in love with the Rock House wedding in the Bahamas. I'm thinking their is no volcanic ash over the Bahamas so I shall be booking my ticket momentarily. :)
*there
I absolutely love the Wauwinet, Nantucket wedding! It looks pulled together with so many different but related elements. The wedding definitely looks like it has been tailored to the couples wishes - with a lot of unique pieces like the whales, mirrored dance floor, and feminine florals. You can tell Michelle didn't hold the couple back, out of fear that something wouldn't "go together" and you can tell no detail was overlooked. I bet the couple had the best night of their lives.
My fave is the New Dehli wedding! How fabulous! The centerpieces are soooo amazing! What a great website, thanks for introdusing me to it!!
I loved the New York Library! How fab!
My favorite wedding design is the one on New Dehli! The colorful clothing against the white canopy and tableclothes is very striking
NY Public Library made my heart skip a beat!
Simply. Stunning.
Amazing idea! My favorite is the Vizcaya Museum & Gardens in Florida. I love the colors, candlelight, flowers, atmosphere style, and all the other little details. I love how unique all the wedding examples are.
My favorite wedding design is the St. Regis Hotel. I love the white and blue flowers, and all the candles, the colors - everything about it. So beautiful.
This is my new favorite vice. I'm so glad I was directed here. My favorite wedding is Bonnet Island Estate for sure. This is the kind of wedding I am trying to have.
GOSH!!! How hard but oh so lovely was that! ..I am goig to have to go with Wall Street NY ... I am having and eve wedding and looking for inspiration with lots of candles...and as soon as I opened that wedding I felt so ready to get married!
Wow! It is so hard to choose just one but if I had to pick only one, it would have to be the design she did at the Breakers Hotel. The all white design is just stunning.
I adore the Equinox, VT design. It's exactly the look and feel I want for my own wedding - rustic elegance.
I love the wedding in the New York Public Library! I think that the use of flowers and candles is incredibly! I'm feeling so inspired thanks SMP and Michelle!
I absolutely adore the Equinox, VT design! The woodsy elements combined with touches of spring are just darling!
When it comes to weddings, the extra-special, unforgettable things are all in the details and Michelle is certainly an expert on details. My favorite design of of Michelle's is the Wall Street wedding.
Thank you SMP and Michelle for this exciting opportunity!
ooo so cool! All of Michelle's designs are beautiful. The one that matches my style the closet is the Bonnet Island Estate, NJ. What an extremely wonderful giveaway.
Thanks
The Breakers 2 wedding is amazing! This whole concept is certainly exciting and will allow many brides who cannot afford a personal stylist to design their entire event to get great style for less.
I love them all, but to me the wedding at Cipriani at 42nd St is very unique. I am engaged to a Chinese-American guy. It means a lot for his family (especially his grandmother) for us to have a Chinese banquet. Unfortunately, there arent that many (nice) banquet halls that are made especially for Chinese weddings. What ends up happening is Asian couples book either regular banquet halls and get themselves frustrated thinking about how to incorporate Chinese decor OR they book Chinese restaurants that dont really go with their taste. What Michelle Rago did at Cipriani shows how couples can have a western style venue yet still incorporate Asian design. I love it!
I adore the Cipriani 42 ST, NY! I love everything about it!
I am completely gushing over the Harbour Island, Bahamas wedding design - the clean simplicity, the elegance, the laid back feel - it's absolutely lovely!
Thank you for the opportunity for the giveaway! -Lauren
fabulous! love the harbour island, bahamas design. bright colored flowers are my favorite.
I love how they are all beautiful, but oh so different. Michelle is so talented. There is definitely something that matches every couples' style. The style that best defines myself my fiance is the wedding at The Equinox in Vermont. It is very casual, sweet and detailed. It is just oh so beautiful!! I will be adding the photo of the boutonnieres in my style board!
Nantucket - all the way. My fiancee would go bonkers if that was our wedding...
I love both the Equinox, VT wedding and the Nantucket wedding! My attention was drawn to the Equinox wedding as my fiance and I are using a barn for our wedding and really want to work with the natural surroundings of the barn rather than against it. Michelle Rago did an amazing job with preserving the natural elements of this Vermont location and infusing them into the wedding in an artistic and creative way (loving the candle votive with the water and stones, as well as the use of the burlap bag which held the favors!). I love the Nantucket design for similar reasons, as Michelle once again demonstrated how you don't have to get lost in a sea of design confusion if you simply work with the location itself. This wedding screams nautical, specifically Nantucket for her use of cheery pastels for parts of the wedding. Such an amazing eye for design!
You are just always on the up and up! What a dandy idea! Harbour Island all the way. Unstated, Gorgeous. My inspiration board is basically this wedding.
Hope I'm not too late! Regardless, I could look through all of those pictures for hours (an will!) so thank you for the inspiration! I love Harbour Island, Bahamas...the details are beautiful and those branches! to die for. Love your work. Thank you both!
What a neat concept! I love love love those lanterns above the dance floor on the Breakers Hotel/FL 1 wedding. I've never see those lanterns before! The New Delhi wedding looked like a blast - the colors and textures - and the tent over the ceremony area is incredible. That must have been quite a wedding!
My favorite is the Bellerive country club in MO. What gorgeous details and I love all the pink!! What an amazing giveaway!!
Wow, the pictures of the Vizcaya Museum and Gardens are gorgeous!!
I love the Equinox, VT wedding - gorgeous! Congratulations on this amazing partnership!
I love the Vizcaya wedding! I went there last year, and the place itself is gorgeous, but so are the designs. :)
I love the Rock House Bahamas wedding. So feminine and pretty.
That's awesome! I want to be entered in the drawing!
Oh, how wonderful! Looking forward to the inspiring features.
There are too many beauties to choose from! It's the Vizcaya wedding for me though, I've always loved that venue, and I'm a sucker for any wedding with peonies!
What an amazing opportunity! I love love LOVE the wedding that Michelle created at the the Equinox, VT. It's rustic and elegant in just the most perfect way! I'd be honored to have Michelle help me create something as special for my wedding day!
How awesome!
Okay, maybe just because it is in the Bahamas, but the Rock House wedding was gorgeous - so many quirky items. I can't help noticing that all the boutonnieres are fabulous too - nice details!!
Bride or not, anyone with any sort of a girlie bone in their body will be hooked on Style Me Pretty. I'm thankful to have this as a resource now that I'm a bride myself! Prettiest pictures on the web - and I can honestly say that I love ALL the weddings, which is why I need professional help to figure it all out!! <3
I love the Rock House wedding in the Bahamas! So classic and beachy without being too casual. The seahorses are a nice touch too!!
The Equinox, Vermont wedding is my favorite design. I'm having my wedding in the country and I hope beyond hope it will be that beautiful! I love how nature is intertwined with the decor, from the pinecone boutinieres to the daisy seating cards to the flower stems at the place settings. It's sooo beautiful!! It creates such harmony and beauty, and the perfect warm, welcoming, loving atmosphere for a Northeast countryside wedding. I'm in love with this design and I hope I win!!!!!!
I LOVE the Vycaza Museum wedding in FL. Beautiful!!
What an awesome idea! I love all of the weddings but the one that really captured my attention was the first wedding at the Breakers Hotel in Florida - the dance floor is rockin'!!
Vizcaya is beautiful! So is the first Cipriani in NY.
I love the Rock House in the Bahamas, it feels intimate and chic at the same time.... Caribbean dreamy...
I absolutely love The Equinox, VT wedding! It's exactly what I'm going for in my own Pacific NW wedding!
My favorite is the Equinox. I love the nature theme running through and the clean color pallettes
Oh its really hard to choose! I keep going back and forth between the Cipriani 42st Street and the Wall Street wedding!! But if i absolutely had to choose, I would choose the Cipriani wedding. I loved how grand and fairytale-like Cipriani looked and the flowers just absolutely took my breath away! I had to remind myself to breathe :) utter-awesomeness. If my wedding was like that, I would just think that I would have died and gone to heaven. Gorgeousilicious!!
I love love love those Save the Dates~ Simple, sweet and stylish. *x*
This is such an amazing opportunity!!!!!! I LOVE everything that she creates! That would be the most amazing thing to have her help create the most special day of your life!
This is THE OPPORTUNITY of a lifetime! but to choose just only one wedding it isn't very easy, I will choose the Breakers hotel because it has lovely, elegant and glamorous details!
Its exciting!and its My favorite wedding design by Public Library. I also like candlelight, and the details of this wedding are gorgeous!! Thank you for this wonderful offer!
I Love Love Love the NY public Libarary! The dim lighting and romantic feel is something I want at my wedding!!!
Her wedding at The Equinox in Vermont is my favorite! It's gorgeous!
Wow - I can't choose just one; I love all of Michelle Rago's work!
This is amazing! What a fantastic oppertunity for Brides that are lacking direction to get ideas from an international designer at such a little investment. Kudos to you Michelle for reaching out to us. I love it!
Gorgeous website! I am particularly fond of the wedding at Bonnet Island Estate as it is so beautiful and simple. This website was such a fantastic idea! Great Job Michelle!!
THE EQUINOX, VT!!! WOW! My fiance and I live in Flagstaff, AZ and are absolutely IN LOVE with Aspen trees! We hike all over Northern Arizona and this wedding design is absolutely perfect. It's so weird that everything you can dream of for your wedding can be brought to life with the help of an amazing designer. From the Aspen trees, ferns and pine cones, to the daisies (which are embroidered all over the skirt of my dress) and the colors.. this wedding design is remarkable.
I am always awed by raw nature and as I plan my wedding I am looking to take the beauty of nature and combine it with personal touches. I absolutely love the look of the Equinox, VT wedding. The background of the beautiful lake with all of the Aspen trees combined with the creativity of Michelle Rago make this wedding look so special. I love how so many of the elements of the wedding fit perfectly with the nature. The boxes holding the programs, the invitations, the placecard, the green flowers all serve to accent the natural backdrop. I love it!
Dang I just realized/read someone else gave you 1000 points for quoting the movie! Guess you got a lot of points today, and I guess I'm not very original! ha ha!
