Dear Wedding Gods, please send me the amazing dress below so that I can wear it every day of my life. And if you could throw in the shoes, that would be awesome. And Dear Rebecca at Docuvitae Photography, weddings like these are really making me want to get married all over again and my husband seems to be getting a little nervous. Really nervous actually as it seems that I have gasped out loud more than once while putting this wedding together.

{Part II is up next but if you can’t wait, click here to see the full wedding}
Being a shoe designer I knew I’d be working from the feet, up. I was designing my shoes in mind before I bought my dress, so that helped the process. I based them off of a design I did for Badgley Mischka called the ‘Randee.’ Per the dress, I knew I didn’t want to go traditional. I wanted to wear something that I hadn’t ever seen before, because for my job, I’m constantly looking in magazines (often Bridal ones) for inspiration. I felt like I had seen everything on the market. Until I tried on my Monique Lhullier dress. It was a read-to-wear piece in a natural color, and fit me perfectly. The textural, ethereal quality of the dress sold me. Also, a tip, I was able to save hundreds of dollars in ‘bridal’ alteration fees because the dress wasn’t technically a wedding dress! A nice perk.
Marc wore a Christian Dior suit and Paul Smith shirt, socks, and vest. Our great friend, who is the shoe designer for Lamb gave Marc a pair of Salvatore Ferragamo shoes as a gift! The groomsmen and Father of the Groom wore coordinating ties from Toybreaker (etsy). My sisters and sister-in-law picked their own dresses based on a color palette I gave them via magazine tears, etc that included shades of cream, blush, grey, and latte. I surprised them the day before the wedding with custom black shoes. I think they knew it was coming
Each pair expressed their personal style, and thankfully, they all worked wonderfully with their dresses!
Jenne was a fabulous help to us. I knew I didn’t want a planner that ‘took over’ so to speak. I had a very specific vision in mind, and she was so wonderful in the way she helped me to realize that vision, within the confines of my budget and my very specific taste. The advice she offered was spot on, and most importatnly, on the wedding day, I was totally relaxed knowing she was there.

Oh my goodness. I am on shoe overload. Be still my rapidly beating heart. The dress isn't helping either. Ugh so gorgeous.
oh. my. gaaaaaaaaaaaaawsh! I cannot get OVER that dress! Stunning! And the shoes make me want to pass out! And the precious picture of him kissing her toes...it's just too much for me! The beauty, the love, the joy...WOW!
OMGGGGGGG, gorgeous dress, gorgeous shoes, beautiful couple. To die for. Absolute loveliness...
I bought the Badgley Mischka Randee shoes (in pink) for my wedding and I'm absolutely in love with them. But....they are so high. I am no stranger to heels but 4 1/2 " is a lot for me. I was wondering if the bride thinks it is possible to take off the platform and cut the heel so they are only 4" instead of 4 1/2"?
looks magical. Her dress is stunning!!
Ok, this is just ridiculously stunning. The styling is impeccable but what really struck me was the gorgeous couple - so happy and so sweet. I absolutely love the picture of them under the shawl. I'm guessing it's a tallit and if so, what a lovely way to incorporate their culture.
oh my word.
this wedding is breathtaking
Is there any way to order her shoes from the bride?? PLEASE let us all know! Would love to be in touch with the bride!
@ Megan - totally agree - these shoes look more manageable than the Badgley Mischka with the platform
I love the dress and shoes! so beautiful and elegant but little whimsical too!
AHHH!! Looked through the entire gallery! What a STUNNING wedding and couple!
I ADORE the Badgley Mischka Randee shoes. I wanted them oh so badly for my own wedding but I have to go down a set of stairs in my processional AND that 4.5 heel really wasn't going to work.
Love the bride's gown (and LOVE even more that its not actual a bridal gown!)
The whole style of the wedding is gorgeous!!
The shoes are DIVINE!!!! Such beautiful details throughout : )
This is quite possibly my all time favorite SMP wedding. Every detail --shoes, dress, photo of toes being kissed--AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Wow....this is just beautiful. I love the simple elegance! Do you know how did the bride an bridal party's hair and makeup. I just had a few bad trials and would love to know!!!
Thanks everybody for the sweet comments!! :-)
Megan, I love the Randee in the pink! Unfortunately it's an impossibility to remove the platform and cut the heel :-( BUT if it is any consolation, the pitch of the shoe is the same as mine. So per the comfort level, it's totally the same. IF you don't want to tower, check out the 'Randall' - there's of photo of them in black, or the 'Raquel' (lower heeled sandal with the same flower detail). They're sold online and at Macy's, Nordstroms, and Lord and Taylor.
Kelly, I'm so sorry I wish we had made all of these shoes for Badgley! But for current styles, check out shopstyle http://www.shopstyle.com/browse/womens-shoes/Badgley-Mischka
We just delivered the 'Hyde' in blue satin (something blue for brides) !

Jess-thanks for all the info. In my rush to put up a comment before I failed to mention how gorgeous your wedding was and the dress! Your photographer did an amazing job; it feels like your happiness is jumping off the screen! Congrats!
Ohh I love her dress and shoes and I really love the shots of them sitting on the lawn chairs...especially the one of him kissing her toes. Amazing!
That dress is absolutely stunning - light and ethereal and so pretty!! Thanks for sharing :)
Jess-Your wedding was breathtaking!
AAAAAHHHH!!!!! I want to marry the shoes! WOW! This is the mother-lode of style. WOW. And they look so happy and in love too.
Thanks so much jess!! I love the black shoes too. Is your shoes the same height as the randee?
Stunning wedding Jenne. And gorgeous details and photos!!
this is the best thing you have ever posted. dying.
this is my favorite post ever. you wedding is so so stunning.
I am in love with the randee heels for my wedding but the heel is too high for me (I'll be taller than my groom!) do they come in a lower heel? anything similar around 2 inches??
thanks!!
i LOve Love everything about your wedding! :) I'll be getting married in Napa/Sonoma next year and hope it'll be as beautiful as your wedding!
Wish I could go back and get this dress to be mine on my wedding day...
Perfection.
Would you be willing to sell this wedding dress? I cannot find it anywhere.
In LOVE with this wedding... the dress and shoes are just yummy! And what beautiful photography! To the stunning bride, I'm wondering where you got the sash for your dress. It's exactly what I've been looking for!
