This wedding was held at the beginning of February 2010 in Snell’s Beach, New Zealand at Brick Bay Wines and Sculpture Trail. Anna and Dan, the bride and groom, were married on a small island in the middle of a lotus pond, part of an earth sculpture designed by New Zealand artist Virginia King. Guests mingled before the wedding in a pecan orchard decorated with brightly coloured bunting, and then made their way to the edge of the pond through a forest trail hung with lanterns. After the wedding, a cocktail hour was held at Brick Bay’s ‘Glasshouse’. A photobooth was in operation and music was provided by a roster of local DJs. The bride’s family own the property and the wedding was held at her parents’ home on the property, the centrepiece of which was an impressive floral display echoing the flowers used in the bride and bridesmaids’ bouquets.

Go Kiwi's!!! New Zealand has such a lot to offer in the world of style. Great to see this ultra lovely wedding oozing with that laid back style kiwi's are famous for. From an expat who loves to come home... thanks for the nostalgic trip!

So vibrant! I love everything about this. Where are those BM dresses from? They are great!
Beautiful! Any idea where those shoes are from?
the shoes are from loeffler randall. they are my DREAM wedding shoes but sadly cost prohibitive. http://www.zappos.com/loeffler-randall-carlie-gold
I agree with everyone, it was truly a lovely wedding! The bridesmaids' dresses are from an Auckland boutique, Miss Crabb (www.misscrabb.com) and the bride's gown is by well known NZ designers Zambesi (www.zambesi.co.nz). The photobooth backdrop is of Mt Fuji and was painted by local artist Val Sutherland.
Super into Coke bottles as vases. And the shoes. And the dress. Also, the dog.
AH HA retribution! I can finally prove to my Kiwi fiancé that New Zealander's do have fancy, stylish weddings that don't involve barns. Thank you! It's a beautiful wedding!
The dog picture steals the show. Love the wedding and really glad the dog was there. Makes me smile.
I am terribly jealous of the lotus bouquets! Gorgeous beyond words.

Us Kiwi's really can do anything!!! What a beautiful wedding, and a wonderful painting!! Congrats to you both!!!
Finially a beautiful New Zealand wedding with some personality. Everyone here seems to do the same thing, same colours, same dress, same cheesy posed photos.
But this is so refreshing and lovely!
