It’s been pretty girly on SMP today. Pink flowers, frilly details, totally pretty styles. And I’ve loved every bit of it. But don’t worry, the frilly fun is no where near done as we have one of the sweetest, most charming weddings I’ve seen in a long time. I happen to be a die-hard fan of poufy veils. Long, short, pink – doesn’t matter. I love them all the same. So I literally began drooling when this San Antonio wedding crossed my path as it involves quite an assortment of frothy head gear.

Melissa and Patrick, the adorable couple, wanted to create an evening garden party topped off with lots and lots of dancing and festivities. I think they hit the nail on its pretty, pretty head, don’t you?

Little known fact. Abby Larson, previously Abby McLucas, is about as Irish as they come. From my fiery temper to my love of the Clancy Brothers, my Irish heritage is one that I am very, very proud to call my own. As is the ridiculously talented Shannon Leahy, the designer behind our next bit of inspiration.
