Los Angeles Engagement by Sarah Yates

March 24th. 2010 by Erin | Filed Under | 20 comments

Sarah Yates happens to be one of my ALL TIME favorite photographers. Her work is so dreamy and magical and this next set of engagement photos is no exception. There are no balloons, no bicycles… just a handsome couple, fields for days and insane light. Farah and Izhat traveled all the way from Singapore to shoot their engagement session with Sarah and I think it was well worth the long flight.

Absolutely gorgeous! Love the light and setting - and does anyone else think she totally looks like (a much prettier version of) Mischa Barton?

Hello Everyone! Thank you for the kind words... I'll ask Farah where she got both of her lovely dresses from and report back. :) And yes, they are a gorgeous couple. And the sweetest people you could hope to meet.

Beautiful photos! I love the way the ray of sunlight in the first phtograph casts a dream sheen over it to really set the scene of a loved up couple. I also love the black dress, it is stunning....
