Jeena and Brian were one of the sweetest couples. We had a great time with their colors and desire to meld Eastern and Western cultures. With Jeena’s Indian culture and Brian’s Korean descent, we tried to reflect this as much as possible in the day’s events, decor and details.

There was a traditional Indian ceremony in a nontraditional mandap created outside in the middle of  Casa Real’s sun garden. Cocktail hour was held in the Amber room where guests were greeted with a huge display of hors d’oeuvres, and cocktail table floral displays with figurines representing Jeena and Brian’s ethnicity. Folks then entered into the grand salon for the dinner reception, which was transformed into an intimate, elegant, and energetic environment. It was great working with all the vendors to create Jeena and Brian’s successful wedding day.

  1. What a beautiful wedding. The ceremony location was decorated beautifully! The colors are all exquisite and work so well together!

  2. Lily says:

That is the cutest wedding cake topper I have ever seen.

  3. I'm fully smitten when it comes to multicultural weddings! I can't help but love not only the marriage that's taking place between the couple but the "marriage" so to speak of multiple cultures to celebrate one special day. This wedding is done so well and carries pieces of each culture through out the entire event. Bravo! P.s. I'm also crazy about the wedding cake a presentation!! :O)

  4. Kati says:

Leah's photography is awesome! If I was getting married, she is the one I would hire :) Beautiful colors and great work with film--and a beautiful couple too!

  5. Leo Patrone says:

I love Leah's work! I wish I was getting married so we could hire her to shoot our wedding!

  6. Lizzie says:

I love her shoes and the henna on her feet! She makes it look like something every bride should do. The colors are absolutely decadent. Thank you for sharing this story with us.

Gorgeous. My best friend got married at this same venue and it's just beautiful. I love the colors and agree with Lily about the cake topper!

Amazing photos! Leah does fantastic work.

  9. Katy says:

LEAH!!! These are absolutely stunning. The color, detail and emotions captured are all such incredible memories captured for the couple. I especially love the two vineyard shots, looks as though you were hiding and they had no idea you were within range to capture. Your work is timeless! I also love the shot of the bracelet and gown decor.... beautiful, breathtaking... so Leah!

  10. Ati says:

Totally Stunning. I love how they incorporated both their cultures in their wedding. Very unique. The photographs really tell the story of the day.

  11. Jasmine says:

I agree with Angel about multicultural weddings. It's always incredibly inspiring and the colors are so blissful! I love the way they used the peacock feathers around the cake.

    Love this just beautiful !!

  13. Gena says:

Wow, what a magical multicultural wedding! You can tell that a lot of thought and work was put into seamlessly blending the couple's cultures into many of the wedding's details. Stunning colors and a ultra beautiful day captured by the photographer, Leah McCormick! Really loved the photo of the henna on the bride's feet and the first photo of the couple embracing. These are some of the most beautiful floral arrangements that I've ever seen. Nicole Ha Designs should feel proud of their amazing work for this wedding. The blue cake by Masses Pastries is simply fabulous and I absolutely love the peacock feathers surrounding the cake (huge fan of peacock feathers used to decorate). Fantastic job, Amazáe Special Events on planning such a unique and gorgeous multicultural wedding!

  15. O says:

    Hi Jeena and Brian,

Your wedding was beautiful. My fiance and I are from different cultures and hope to highlight them throughout our wedding celebration as well. We have been looking for a cake topper that helps to do this while also showing our personality a bit. We absolutely loved the Korean couple topper you used. Would you be willing to sell this? If not, may I ask from whom you purchased it? Thank you so much!
