Love Silpada....and Moxie.....great finds for anyone not just brides.....thanks SMP

  2. Christi Coufal says:

Oh gosh. I keep forgettin gbout the wedding website. I KNOW we have to have one, but I just can't find one tht is easy to use and update, or that I can find a layout that we both like. I can't find a green, blue and yellow website anywhere. I think a background of vintage fabric would be gorgeous, since I am making pennant banners, napkins for favors, fabric flowers, table runners (i.e. EVERYTHING) out of vintage and new yellow green and blue fabrics. With 200 guests I need to put some of my crfts away and start working on the concrete website. What a great giveaway!

  3. a wedding website would be a fantastic win for our october wedding! we plan on customizing by making little jars of the groom's special bbq sauce as thank you gifts for everyone that comes to celebrate with us!

  4. Ashley says:

I love this blog! It always has the best ideas :) I really want to set up a website but it's time that's an issue. I don't know if you all know but crate and barrel is having a wedding contest. You all should enter. If not please vote for me! Thank you! Happy Wedding Planning :)

  5. Carrie B says:

I totally loved using wedding window. It was so easy and looked amazing! My guests totally appreciated it!

  6. Amy Ruocco says:

So glad to hear that, Carrie. Thanks for sharing! Christi, WeddingWindow.com allows you to create a customized site — so you can match your green, blue and yellow colors exactly. Love the jars of bbq sauce idea for your October wedding, Barefoot! Looking forward to reading more about how everyone is planning to create a unique wedding experience! Thanks everyone... have a great weekend.

  7. Gina K says:

I am so happy you showcased BellaTerra! Details, details, details are really important to me, and I have BellaTerra lined up to help me make my wedding memorable. They have such a large collection of items in all different kinds of colors. Oh, and their ribbon collection is gigantic. I had no trouble finding the perfect items for my wedding. Thanks SMP for this entry. I will be sure to check out the other vendors.

  8. Shauna A says:

I want my guests to know a few things about our wedding right from the get go, and I'd like to convey this through our website!

STYLE: Through the styling and aesthetic of the website, I want our guests to know that our wedding will incorporate the meaningful traditions of our cultures, but will be accented with our own personal and quirky twist.
STORY: I want our guests to know more about our unique story- 6 months in to our relationship we found out that our ancestors came from the same tiny town in Latvia and founded and settled in the same small town in Canada- and I hope to describe that story on our website.
EASE/COMFORT: I want the guests to know from the beginning that we will do our best to make their trip easy and comfortable (we have lots of out of towners)! I think that this website could provide them with maps, a range of hotels, and tourist info about our great city!

    Thanks for the opportunity!

  9. Hilary C says:

What a great idea! I had seen wedding websites before, but really liked what Wedding Wedding had to offer. For me, it is so important for my wedding to really showcase who Jeff and I are as a couple. I want it to really reflect us. I started with the choice of my colors, which will be a dark purple plum hue. Purple has always been my favorite color! We love traveling, and even got engaged on a trip to the Galapagos Islands. I was thinking of naming the tables places we have traveled along with a photo from that place (I really love photography as well!) and a description of why that location was important to us.

I feel that the wedding website is a great opportunity for guests to get to know the complete story behind our relationship including how we met and how Jeff proposed. I like the idea that I can customize it and add photos of the two of us.

  10. Jenni says:

These are all wonderful!!! One of the ways that we are customizing our wedding is by frosting a paisley design onto the mirror squares that will be in the center of each table with flowers and candles. That same paisley design will be echoed throughout the rest of our decor as well!
A wedding website would be fantastic to win!!!

  11. ~Kathryn~ says:

the wedding will be customised with something that is classy but whimsical .... not sure exactly WHAT that might be yet .... but i'm thinking the table decorations need to have something 'unexpected'.

Love the wedding site - would be a great prize tow in thanks

  12. Diana says:

I'm thinking of customizing by using little personal details throughout the wedding. We love crosswords so maybe we will put a bride-and-groom themed crossword at each table. We might get customized cake toppers or add a few other details like that.

Of course a website will be a great way to add another great little customized detail! We would love to win it!

  13. TB says:

What a great giveway...we are having a May 2011 wedding and having been looking at various wedding websites. We are customizing our wedding with the items we are putting in our hotel welcome bags. Some items we will be including are our favorite candies (Skittles and Butterfingers....yes we are 12), bookmarks since we are both huge readers, and Khashi bars since we always snack on them when we are on the go. We are also including a pretty list in each bag explaining why all the items are in the bag.

  14. Teal says:

We're planning a "family style" wedding by incorporating tradition and ideas from each side to bring our two big families together-we want to play with the idea that our two family trees will be growing into one.

We can't wait to share the details of our wedding with our friends and family who will be traveling to see us on our big day and a wedding website will be the best way for us to keep our guests informed by cutting down on using too many paper goods or resources. We are committed to keeping our planning, wedding and new life together as GREEN as possible so we can keep others in mind...our wedding website will certainly play a big part!

    Happy planning to all!!

  15. Becky says:

I would LOVE a wedding website! I am trying to be as "green" as possible for our February 2011 wedding and one of the ways we hope to do so i by limiting the amount of paper we are using and asking our guests to RSVP electronically. A website would be a HUGE help!

  16. Tanya says:

What a fantastic idea! My fiancee is from the UK and it would be great to allow his family to join us on this exciting journey. We would love to customise our web site with video diaries to give it a personal touch :)

  17. June says:

I would customize my site be making it useful for allllll the relatives I have coming in from out of town, mostly the south (I live in Chicago). My fiance won't have many guests flying in for the wedding, but since they're in Thailand, it will be great to be able to share this with them. We've been tackling ways to show BOTH of our uniques styles in every part of the wedding, I would love to have a great tool like this to give us the options to do so in our site as well. THanks for the giveaway!

  18. anh says:

we'll be doing a lot of stuff to customize our wedding. i'm in the process of designing my wedding dress and shoes (shoes i'll put together myself, dress will have to come from someone better at sewing than i currently am), doing all of our favors, hopefully doing our own screenprinting and letterpressing (but that's unlikely), and then putting together all of our decor. if i had my druthers, i'd cook, but i think 150 people is a little much, and will make me a frazzled, terrifying bride :P

  19. Ann says:

We were over ambitious and thought we could create our own website for our wedding in August. Still no website. Our guests have been asking for info since we are having a destination wedding. We would customize it to provide a tropical website that best describes our fun loving personality. We would use Wedding Window as a tool to plan our wedding and let our guests know a little about us. We were raised on opposite side of the world so guests are flying in from different places. The website would be a great tool to let our guests know about our relationship and proposal.

We are so excited of the opportunity to win this giveaway. Thank you Wedding Window!

  20. sarahanne says:

Our website will feature our colors and lots of links to great activities to do around the wedding city. It will also explain a lot of the traditions we hope to use in the wedding. I am a Latina but my finance's family is Italian and most of my friends are not latino. So we'll use the website to spread the word about padrinos, lazos, and arrias! We might even share a recipe or two to be featured at our wedding!

  21. Tucker says:

A website is definitely something we've been considering. We're trying to be as green as possible and a website is a great alternative to paper RSVPS and all the extra inserts that go into an invite that tell details about directions, lodging, etc. (Plus, with less inserts, it's nicer on our wallets, too!) We're hoping to customize our wedding by doing as many projects as we can ourselves- invites, cookie favors, and countless decor items (luminarias, flowers, poms, etc.). Hopefully it will be a way of putting our personal touch into the details and will be a fun way for us to connect in the months leading up to the Big Day! :)

  22. Ashley says:

I'd be so excited to have a personalized Wedding Window website! I'm having a really hard time finding websites I can customize in our wedding colors (shades of gold and frosty blue).
We have several ideas for personalizing our wedding. My favorite idea we've come up with so far is our favors: both of us are huge bookworms, so we're incorporating stacks of hardcover used books (covered in paper that matches our wedding colors) into our centerpieces. At the end of the wedding every guest will be able to take a book home. We're having a great time making lists of our favorite books to purchase for our friends at the secondhand bookstore.
Our overall wedding theme also comes from one of my favorite stories, the story of Baucis and Philemon, the old couple who were granted a wish by the gods and wished that they would live to an old age and die at the same moment so that they could die still loving and one would never have to mourn the other. The gods granted their wish by turning them into two entwined trees at the end of their life together. The imagery of entwined tree branches is something we're incorporating into our January 2011 wedding: we're decorating with branches and candles instead of flowers and hopefully will be incorporating branches into our wedding invitations and subtly into our cake as well.
Oh, and another fun touch is our bar. I'm from Texas and my fiance is from Pennsylvania, so in addition to all of the usual bar fare we'll be serving Shiner beer (from Texas) and Yuengling from PA.
We're having a traditional church wedding and the reception at a hotel, so I have my work cut out for me in trying to make sure the wedding isn't too "cookie cutter." We're having so much fun planning and incorporating things that are very "us," and we'd love to have a customizable website to help with that!

  23. Elise L. says:

Hi! It would be so fun to have a pretty 'Wedding Windows' website for our November 2011 nuptials.

Andy and I are planning a Southern wedding in an opera house during the winter time. These are the three things that we wish to convey with our website.

STYLE- We are having a formal wedding, but with some cute-sy whimsical details, such as vintage airplane replicas, since we met on an airplane.

FAMILY- Our families live all over the United States, so it would be great to have a website that allows access to all of our loved ones to see important details about our day.

ORGANIZATION- It would be amazing to be able to keep everything in one place- from venue details to a guest list count, Wedding Windows is the perfect site for the organized couple!

  24. Erin G says:

My fiance and I would love to take part in the contest for the Wedding Window website. We are having a July 2011 wedding at a beautiful mansion overlooking their gardens. As an artist and graphic illustrator I have been thinking and designing about our site for a while! We want to keep a vintage look to the site and incorporate some of my paintings into it to give it a personal touch. We also want to keep the website clean and fresh. Our wedding won't be too formal, we want our guests to feel relaxed and comfortable as it will be pretty hot in July! Since our families live in many different locations, having a site through Wedding Windows would be a great way to connect my family and friends, keep them updated and customize our site in a special way. Thanks!

  25. Scott S says:

Our website will be used to share many of the different cultures that will be utilized during the wedding. It will also let individuals know what there is to do in the area and fun things to see.

  26. act and jmk says:

would LOVE a website through you all! i love cookies, but i do not love cookie cutter weddings. having attended on average 6 weddings/summer for the last 10 years, i have been there, done that, and eaten every imaginable variation of chicken breast. we'd like to personalize our wedding to reflect our values, interests, families, favorite foods and make a fun and memorable experience!

  27. patzunera says:

A wedding window website win would be such a huge help for our November wedding in Guatemala! Guatemala is a middle point for both of our families and a location close to my heart since I served as a Peace Corps volunteer there 10 years ago. I am from Pennsylvania and my fiance, Juan, is from Patagonia, Argentina. We met in graduate school in Washington DC four years ago and continue to live here, away from our family and friends. Since most of our wedding guests will be coming from afar and are not used to traveling, a great website is essential for providing the right information to allow our guests to feel comfortable with the trip and not overwhelmed by the details of traveling abroad. Juan's family does not speak English and my family does not speak Spanish, so the website will need to be in both languages. I just came back from a week of wedding planning in Antigua, Guatemala and have all the necessary information for the website. Now I just help organizing it!!! It would be such a big relief to have help with the website. It would take away a little bit of stress of trying to manage the logistics of both of our families traveling to a foreign country and meeting for the very first time.

  28. Crystal Su says:

The ways we are customizing our wedding include:
-I am making my own dress and jewelry, shawl wraps for our bridesmaids, and coordinating an off the rack look for the groomsmen instead of just making them rent tuxes.
-We are going to do a choreographed first dance.
-We are writing our own vows.
-My mom is going to do all our flowers.
-I am making table overlays and most of the other decorations.

  29. lyndee_lou says:

My fiance and I are looking to create a fun, upscale picnic in a rustic barn in Michigan. Oh and did I mention I live in Arizona? The wedding window site will help me to coordinate with friends and vendors to create an event that is true to our vision, without having to micromanage at each and every aspect from 2,000 miles away. I want to create a seamless presentation of what to expect on the big day with all aspects of communication with our guests (i.e. invitations, website, etc) so it is really important for me to be consistent.

Not only are we having an event in Michigan but we are also having a reception in Phoenix and another in my future husband's hometown in NH--so we really need to coordinate 3 receptions and then we are having a farewell brunch at my mother's home at the commencement of the "wedding weekend". I love all of the planning and tracking tools (let's face it, with this many events we need to be able to keep them all straight) and I love the option of being able to keep a journal that we can use later on to look back on all of the things we went through leading up to the big day.

The final piece in this puzzle is that we can reduce not only our costs (by not having to rely on postage) but also save some trees in the process by utilizing Wedding Window's RSVP and Save the Date e-cards. GO GREEN!!

  30. dana says:

i love the jewlerries more than anything and the accessories. God is in the smallest details!

  31. Melissa says:

Wow, the website would be a great way to keep our guests, who will be traveling from across the US and abroad, informed! Especially since our wedding is a destination wedding. These are a few of the custom touches for our wedding:
    - Since we will share our wedding date with my grand parents and great grand parents, I am creating a family tree to include in our program. I will also display their wedding photos next to our cake.
    - To compliment the location (Sedona, Arizona), a friend is helping me make monogramed luminarias to line the path between the chapel and our reception.
    - Our favors will be cookies from the restaurant where we first met.

  32. suzanne says:

My honey is from Scotland and all of his family, and alot of good mates, are still there so even though we're getting married in the city in which we live (Philadelphia) I feel like I'm sort of planning a destination wedding for them! We're personalizing so much in effort to really show off the blend of two cultures - lots of tartan ribbons, Scottish/USA Flags, Irnbru (a Scottish soda that we have to have specially ordered here in the States to have on hand), Tastykakes because of course we're here in Philly, and so much more.

We intend to create a common design based on the idea of travel/two cultures and incorporate that into all of our papergoods. I also plan to work with my aunt and friends on all flower arrangements - going to the local flower market here in the city the day before the wedding and grabbing whatever is on hand. Making our bouquets, boutonneires, corsages and centerpieces in mason jars mixed with cigar boxes.
We are also incorporating a hand fasting ceremony into our ceremony - so I will be cutting up all of the tartan ribbons to match his kilt that will be used in that and carried down the aisle by my little niece.

We're also going to set up a "Photobooth" with a backdrop of fabric and bringing in a ton of props for our guests to use from chalkboards, mustaches, crowns and tiaras.
And most importantly, we're writing our own vows - there are so many things we feel are important to say to one another, and to our guests and so this is the part I'm most excited to work on.

It would be wonderful to have a wedding window site for us to personalize and keep all of our guests in the loop! We have a set "skype date" every week with his parents, but it's hard with time differences and having an ocean between us to keep everyone in Scotland aware of everything that's planned, going on, travel details, etc. Having one awesome, totally decked out site would be amazing so that we can point them all (plus my family all over the US and the world!)

  33. Anni says:

I woud love a beautiful website through Wedding Window - our friends and family are scattered around the country, and it's very important to us to make them feel like they're right next door and a part of the planning. To me, a high quality website opens that line of communication to make friends and family a part of the process rather than just a guest at the party, but because my fiance and I are both full-time students and work to support ourselves, it's hard to devote time to planning a wedding website. We'd love the opportunity to use a first rate site like Wedding Window to open our celebration to everyone who is so important to us!

  34. Tiffany says:

We really want our guests to leave our party thinking "that was SO Dan and Tiff". We are both artsy and will be creating all sorts of small details for our guests to take in. We'll be serving brunch because it's our favorite! We want our friends and family to smile, laugh and love!

  35. Selena says:

As we just booked our venue today, it would be a perfect time to start a website! It would provide a perfect first glimpse into our wedding, keep our family and friends in the loop in the wedding planning process, and make it easy for guests to get information, RSVP, etc.

  36. AJ says:

SMP- Thanks for introducing me to Wedding Window. It seems much more customizable than other wedding websites I've seen. We will be customizing the day by walking out of the church to one of our favorite indie rock songs. We are having the church musicians learn the music and play an instrumental version. We plan to have tambourines on hand so guests can join in.

  37. Catherine says:

Wedding Window looks like the perfect website for our October wedding. We're starting our customization by scanning in a painting my brother did of a big oak tree and turning it into our save the date and invitation. We're retouching the tree trunk to have our initials carved into it. My brother is no longer with us and we want to honor his memory throughout the wedding. We would love to somehow work that image into the wedding website as well. Thank you for yet another great giveaway!

  38. Crystal says:

We have had a blog since the birth of our first daughter so having a wedding Website is essential and part of our relationship. Our personal blog has been a way we have shared the most special moments of our lives with the ones we love. With regards to our wedding, we have various customized elements:

    1. STYLE: Gothic mixed with hipster / messenger. My partner is a bike messenger and also because of that we met (I was a mailroom clerk and he delivered me my packages). Zombies and Halloween are our faves and therefore we are having a Halloween wedding. My dress is a crimson taffetta and my "corpse bridesmaids" will be dressed as pinup girls.

    2. VENUE: We are not getting married in a church and so it was important for us to find a venue that was close to our hearts - THE MAYFAIR THEATRE. This is the oldest theatre in our hometown (1930s) and a designated heritage site. My partner group up going to this theatre and many of our dates were here. I have every stub from these dates and we also have three original seats from the theatre sitting in our livingroom. We will be viewing a movie with our guests and treating them to concession stand popcorn.

    3. We are also having an intimate dinner at a haunted restaurant for our immediate family and bridal party.

    4. VEGAN! We are vegans and that is what we are serving: vegan candy at the candy buffet, vegan sandwiches and treats, vegan gourmet dinner.

    5. LOCAL, CRAFTY and ARTISANS: We are making our invitations, favours and getting all accessories and floral arrangements made by etsy.com designers.

We NEED a wedding window website because we're having a destination wedding this Fall and we simply can't fit all the details on our save-the-date. Guests have already started asking us where they should stay and what airport they should fly into and we haven't even sent the save-the-dates out. It'd be really nice to be able to provide them with all this information in one convenient location that they could access anytime they needed to.

How we plan to personalize our wedding? This is an exciting question to answer and I really don't even know where to start cause there are so MANY funny and unique things we plan to do in order to make our big day special and unique.

For starters, the location. I chose to do a destination wedding because I want to get married in the same cathedral my parents were married in more than 35 years ago. This makes it pretty special. I plan to have pics from their wedding and other family member's weddings at the guest book table.

One of my most favorite ideas though actually has to do with how we plan to personalize the website. Over the holidays, I found some pics of my parents as a young couple in various locations throughout the city. They were so cute. One of them is a candid shot of the two of them sitting near a fire hydrant in Greenwich Village.

I plan to replicate these photos with my fiance. We're going to go to the exact same locations next month and take photos just like my parents did. I want to post both the past and present day photos on our wedding window website for our guests to view.

    Can't wait!

  40. Cammi says:

How exciting! Our wedding is being planned and carried out completely by us and our wedding party. The d.j., caterer, photographer, M.C., and owner of the location are all good friends. We got very lucky in that respect. Our centerpieces will be handmade terrariums in jars that will double as gifts for the family and attendants. All of the decorations are made of tissue paper by my bride's maids and I. To keep food costs down, we plan to invite the wedding party over for a tamale making party and freeze the results until the wedding. There are so many other exciting and unique aspects of the wedding that I could list, these are just some of my favorites. I would love to have a website to host photos and commentary of the progress.

Paul and I have been dating for nearly 8 years! And we just got ENGAGED! We are so excited!!! Although I hear "It's about time" the most, I also hear we want to know: How it happened? Did he get down on one knee? How'd you meet? When's the big day? etc etc etc... So the wedding website would be a great resource for our friends and family to keep up dated on the plans for our wedding. Such a fun idea!

I have to say, I love Bella Terra. Its so fun to have a company who loves to coordinate everything from the save the date and invitation to every detail in between....favor boxes, table cards, place cards and more. LOVE them!!

I've had two friends (also brides to be) recommend Wedding Windows website. I'm getting married next April and plan on tackling this to-do next month when the year count down kicks off.

Since my fiance and I live in London but are getting married in the states, we want to make sure our wedding website really works as our main channel of communication with our family and friends. We plan to customize it with a "DC"/city wedding theme as we are getting married there.

    Cheers!

In order to keep our very low-budget wedding... in budget [?], a wedding website is necessary for us! I am going in for the win!

The wedding will be personalized by putting our talents together... I am pretty crafty in all respects... but him? Not so much. Except, he has a random fascination with origami. Origami peacocks will be making an appearance everywhere!

  45. I have been meaning to get our wedding website started, so I would love this! We are planning a June 2011 wedding and have gone to, what feels like, a zillion weddings. We want ours to be unique to us. We love food, so we are looking for caterers that will help design a menu incorporating our favorites. Edible favors is a must and I plan to enlist my grandmom and mom's help in making homemade fruit jam for each guest to enjoy. We are also huge animal lovers, so our golden retriever is going to be carrying the rings down the aisle during our ceremony. I really want design consistency from our wedding website all the way through the programs on our wedding day. Thanks for another great giveaway!

  46. Heather says:

I would love to set up a wedding website! Mosts of our guests are coming from out of town, so it would be great to have all the information spelled out for them. I just don't have the time (or confidence in my tech abilities) to create one!

  47. Jessica B says:

Out of the ways in which we are customizing our wedding, what comes to mind first is the music that we will have at our reception. My family is very musical and we'd like to incorporate our friends and family members into a sort of musical jamboree at our reception. They've already agreed that they would be obliged to play and we, of course, are extremely grateful for this. :)

  48. Leigh says:

My family and I love food - comfort food to be exact. To incorporate this love of food into our wedding, I am creating welcome bags for our out of town guests, filled with homemade goodies. I will also be baking homemade wedding favours, including the goodies that I get the most requests to bake. Finally, I would love to have a dessert buffet in lieu of a plated dessert, filled with delicious homemade goodness!

We just got engaged Saturday! Who knows what the wedding planning will bring

  50. Carla says:

WOW! What a graet giveaway! My fiance and I would LOVE a wedding website! We am trying to be as "green" as possible for our April 24, 2011 wedding and we are looking to limit the amount of paper we are using by asking our guests to RSVP electronically. A website would be a HUGE help!

  51. Melissa M says:

We plan on using a wedding website to cut down on postage costs and printing. Guests will RSVP and find all the detail wedding info on the website! Thanks for the giveaway!

  52. Meghan says:

I'm an information junkie - as my friends have gotten married I have turned to their websites for all the newest details - time after time. I recently became engaged and am looking forward to building a place where curious people (like me) can find all the information they ever wanted about our upcoming wedding!

  53. Jennifer says:

We're getting married in September and haven't set up a website yet, this would be wonderful, thank you for the opportunity!

  54. Jamie Z says:

A wedding website would be perfect because 1. we're on a budget and my fiance thinks he's capable of "making the invitations myself on the computer I plan on building this summer"- I tried to tell him we need to share A LOT of information and an invitation may be the best route, but he's refusing to budge. This could be the best of both worlds! The compromise! The in between!
We're planning on customizing our wedding but not really following anything seen as traditional, although these days- what is traditional? We're getting married on a Sunday, having a HUGE bbq the Saturday before, providing our guests with amazing food that might not seem to go together well, but its our personal faves, as well as searching out mismatched china to eat one and giving away my homemade peanut butter and his homemade beer for favors. YUM!

  55. Elle Sing says:

It would be awesome to have the wedding window site.

My boyfriend and I have been doing long distance for 3 years and are close to the time of ending the distance and moving to one place and getting married. I'm a chinese canadian and he's american. to customize our wedding we will be mixing both the western style of the wedding but adding some chinese culture into the decore of the reception. the morning of the wedding we will be having the traditional tea ceremony with the traditional chinese attire before the marriage in front of friends and family.
the reception will be outdoors with a tent with many red chinese latterns hung from the ceiling.
the website would help keep friends and family and everyone updated with the wedding because half the guests have to fly in from afar to attend this wonderful day :)

    thanks

I would absolutely adore having my own website! I met J when I was two years old. I had a wonderful little crush on him all through elementary school. His younger sister is to this day my best friend. We have that story book romance, and I still can't believe it's real! He has helped me through the toughest time of my life. My father walked out on our family unexpectedly last year. He blocked out access to the money, and we lost our home because of it. Soon after, my father tried to take his own life. J was there for me through every moment. He was determined to never let me down. I have head over heels in love with that man! :) He warms my heart and is my rock. To customize our wedding, we really want to bring in elements from our childhood (especially because that's when we met). We also would love to invite all of our beautiful family and friends to witness such a big event in our lives. We want to make every single person feel like they are there for a reason. I would love to be able to take pictures with each guest to put around the reception location. We also would LOVE a photobooth. Photography is the one part of our wedding that will last forever, so we want to make sure that it's well documented! The wedding will truly be customized because it's a genuine family affair. My Aunt is making us a phenomenal cake. Another Aunt, Uncle, and cousin are all photographers, so they will be in charge of all the pictures. My sister is super talented on photoshop and other computer editing programs, so she will be designing all the invitations, programs, etc. We want to do a photobooth style save the date. :) We just want this wedding to be really reflective of the sweetness of our relationship. Since our family lives all over the country, and all plan on coming, a wedding website would be a HUGE blessing to us to keep everyone in the loop. =) I can't wait for him to be my husband!

My fiance and I are getting married next July, and definitely want a website. Wedding Window's look great, and easy to use, which is a plus for me:) How we plan to customize our wedding is with little touches that show our personality and love story. Our engagement shoot is going to be on the beach at sunset where we spent so many dates. We are going to serve our favorite cocktails, and use childhood pictures of ourselves as table number images. We would be thrilled to win this contest!

  60. Elizabeth says:

I'm trying to be somewhat of a non-traditional bride, but we absolutely MUST have a wedding website to let folks know all the details of our big day. We're hoping to personalize our wedding (in NY!) with lots of flavors and colors of the South where we live. We're hoping all of the Yankees will drink the gallons of sweet tea vodka we've ordered. If not, it should be an interesting first year!

  61. Diana says:

    Hi,

We're going to have the wedding in the Philippine Islands. The church will be at the Capital City, Manila, where the only steel church in Asia resides. It has an eclectic, ancient goth feel and is absolutely Shakespearean. After the mass we will hire a tour bus and take everybody to a beautiful beach resort out of the city. This is where we plan to have a cocktail/karaoke party all night under the stars since the guests would be required to book the accommodations in advance to spend the night there. All meals will be buffet resort style, so pretty much the aim is to have a "field trip/holiday" on the wedding day for us and the guests. No proper sit down dinner, just a relaxing, picturesque wedding trip like no other. My husband, JB, and I are high school sweethearts but for some reason we did not spend school field trips together. So we're making it up on our wedding. So i really really need an efficient, easy to use and beautiful website to help me organize this tricky but oh-so-JB-and-Diana-wedding!

So excited by all of these fabulous entries for our giveaway!

Ooh! I've been wanting to use Wedding Window for our website; a friend recommended it to me a few months ago. Many of our friends and family spend a lot of time on the internet (even my grandparents!), so a wedding website would be a wonderful way to keep them updated on the details. We will be customizing our wedding through our choice of venue, the Disneyland Hotel. Growing up, my parents couldn't afford to take me and my sister on fancy vacations, but they always managed to save up enough for tickets to Disneyland. So, Disneyland has always had a special place in my heart and I have so many fond memories of my visits over the years. My fiance also proposed at Disneyland, with my family present, because he knew what special meaning it had for us. My sister brought her vintage camera along (a family heirloom) and took pictures of the proposal as it was happening. She even developed the photos herself using her school's dark room. We'd love to share those pictures on our website. At our reception we plan on incorporating some of our favorite elements of Disneyland, including music from our favorite Disney films, tasty treats from Main Street, and glow-in-the dark bracelets for the kids. The ballroom even has hidden Mickeys in the wallpaper. Hopefully having our reception at the Happiest Place on Earth will set the mood for the evening, and everyone will have a great time.

  64. It is a very nice to have a wedding website. Not only you can be creative and innovative, but it could also help your guests to find about your wedding venue and other details. You also enjoy being ultra modern and making your the day a day that you will ever remember.

  65. Katie says:

I've been teaching myself web design in my spare time, and I had always envisioned designing my own wedding site. Now I've just gotten engaged and instead of waiting longer, my boyfriend (of nine years) and I have decided to get married this summer, which means mucho planning in a very short amount of time. And that's where Wedding Window comes it: in would help me get (and stay) organized, and preserve my sanity as I plan a wedding for 200+ guests in 3 1/2 months time. We're having TONS of our of town guests and having a website would be the best way to provide them with information. I'm keeping my fingers crossed!
